Saw him for more than a decade weekly. Drove 2 hours each way. The man stopped showing up to our appointments without even having the decency to call to reschedule he stood me up several times . Never heard from him again. Wouldn't take my call . He let me run out of medication. A horrible man!

Even Stopped asking me how I was, much less talking tome for 5 minutes after the initial visit... Staff are just Robots, and expressed to me their DISDAIN for Dr V...

A horrible man who stood me up for several appointments and wouldn't even answer my phone calls. I never heard from him again. I saw him for over a decade before he just dumped me I had a two hour drive each way. He is incredibly unreliable and insensitive.

Good guy

Do yourself a huge favor and never waste your time seeing this doctor. Honestly, I don't even know how he has a license to see patients. He is terrible and so is the office staff here. He yelled at me when a medication he prescribed didn't work, he lied to me about a test he ordered by telling me it would cost me nothing, then I had to pay hundreds of dollars for it, he has no one to cover for him in his absence, he leaves the office when he has appointments.

He is HORRIBLE. I don't say this lightly. I am in the field, I understand how most psychiatrists are overbooked and overworked. However, this man will not listen to your needs. I have to take off work for a 2 minute appointment every 3 months for meds that are non-habit forming- while as other doctors will at least make it every 6 months when you are stable. The last straw was when I went in yesterday, I explained to him that due to personal reasons my anxiety has been off the charts the last week, and his response was "there are bigger things to worry about" NO SH** SHERLOCK, if I was able to just get over things like that I wouldn't have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Might have considered sticking with the company, but since I just got a check in the mail for over $100 a couple weeks ago, they have obviously been overcharging me. The only plus that I will admit is that for the most part I do not have to wait to see him, which is unheard of in any specialty, especially psychiatry. I would expect that though considering it takes me longer to brush my teeth than have a visit with him. He is HORRIBLE. I don't say this lightly. This man saved my life. I'm not exaggerating. He is understanding, compassionate and patient. I have been his patient for 11 years and live two hours away but still return to see him. I mentally started off in a very bad place. I saw many other psychiatrists before, but the difference is that Dr. V takes his time with you. I can not express my gratitude enough. I highly recommend him, and I am a professional in the health care field.

He is very kind, understanding, great with pharmacology, and listens to all issues, not just psych problems. He is very accessible as a person and willing to listen. He deals well with my bipolar disorder and depression.

This doctor told me for nearly two years that I would have to tolerate my bad dreams instead of changing my medication. He first lied and told me it would get better. When it didn't and I kept complaining about the nightmares, he told me to just get used to them.

Sensitive to patients needs and knowledgeable to changes is patient behavior.
