Samuel David Weller

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Weller for ~ 15 years. He is thorough, answers all questions completely and provides practical health advice. He is very personable. The staff there is very friendly and good at quick painless blood draws. There were a few times when I had trouble getting appointments as soon as I wanted them but I am seeing that everywhere. That has improved significantly in the last year. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Weller should have his doctor title removed. He is absolutely terrible and just wants his money. He made my husband get X-rays done and assured us it would be covered by our insurance. Turns out the X-rays weren’t even necessary because Weller can’t even properly diagnose covid, he said “it’s definitely not covid it might by pneumonia” well guess what it was covid. Now we are stuck with a $800 bill for unnecessary X-rays. Thanks a lot Dr. Weller keep up the good work and enjoy our money.

My appointment with Dr. Weller was good. The staff was nice. I really like that Dr Weller made a point to call. My concern, and why I am looking for a new doctor is that scheduling is not time sensitive. I am usually pretty healthy, so when I call for an appointment due to being ill, it's because I've tried over the counter medications for at least 5-7 days with no relief or worsening symptoms. The last and only 2 times I called for an appointment, I was told I could not be seen for two or more weeks and to go to an Urgent Care. Not happy.

I see Dr.Weller at Madison Health Primary Care in West Jefferson, and am surprised by, and would like to counter some of the negative comments I have seen. I have always been able to get a quick appointment, been treated courteously by staff, had a short wait time and received outstanding care. I would feel extremely comfortable recommending my friends and family to his care

The staff are personable and the office is clean. Dr Weller is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He has a wonderful pleasant bedside manner and is very patient listening to my concerns. I have never once felt rushed. I highly recommend Dr Weller. I never take the time to leave positive reviews but this was a no brainier.

Been a patient for about 6 months and Dr Weller saved my life. I had chest pains and thought it was acid reflux and he through lab work and X-rays directed me to a surgeon who diagnosed me with cancer. The urgency on his part led to a early diagnosis and now in treatment. Very Grateful J. Vaido

Dr Weller is VERY caring, and listens to everything you need to discuss with him. He COMPLETELY explains responses so you fully understand them. He is very thorough and concerned about your health needs. This was my first visit and he has now gained me as a new patient.
