I would not recommend this doctor. In the half hour I spent with him, I found him unprepared - even though my file was sent to him on numerous occasions. He was uncommunicative when asked questions, and his "examination" which levied a $150 charge was to look in my ear for less than 10 seconds. Overall, He was very unhelpful - other than to offer a helpful suggestion on how to find my way out of his office. His charge of $800 to my insurance company was outrageous.

I have taken my son to Dr. Gubbles for about 2 yrs. He’s been helpful in repairing my 9 yr olds ruptured ear drums, both left and right. My son now wears hearing aids in both ears and Dr. Gubbles was helpful in getting those. He performed 3 surgeries on my son. Over all he’s been ok. I’m sure he’s great at what he does. I just don’t believe he has great “bed side manner” when it comes to working with children. Especially children who have had years and years of different doctors poking and prodding with their ears... I have taken my son to Dr. Gubbles for about 2 yrs. As a surgery resident myself, I cannot truly convey how amazing Dr. Gubbels is. I have struggled from severe hearing loss for 30+ years. Today, at my post op appointment, my hearing was normal. He has truly changed my life, and even more so, he was amazing every step of the way. He always responded to my emails promptly, he sat down with me in pre op and thoroughly answered my myriads of questions, and he truly shared my excitement with me when I got my results. I would 110% recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr Gubbels is an excellent surgeon. He and Dr Youssef removed my acoustic neuroma. The trigeminal pain that caused so much suffering is gone. Recovery is very smooth.

I would not recommend seeing Dr Gubbels. He rushed me through an appointment (when he was considerably late). I would not go back to see him.

I just received final results of your records that I have asked for month's on end I am very disappointed on ur post!.. I went through HEll AND U ONCE AGAIN pOST incorrect info!. they say u the BEST but from all my treatments and copy of records and u r post are the WorsT!.. if now i can find someone better than u gonna be hell! u told me point blank in my diagnose I can t help u.. and ur staff closing doors on me in my condiditon is still beyond me ~ I am Not ur meat market!... and yes I confirmed poisitive in most test results and u posted I did not! Dr. Gubbels essentially changed the course of my sons life. He is a fantastic specialist who is personable and great at what he does. I have nothing negative to say about the man or his practice.

Dr. Gubbels, his assistant, Tracy Page, and his associate, Dr Youssef, and his NP, Kristin Kasper, gave me the best experience possible in light of the location and the quick growth rate of my acoustic tumor. I was presented with the facts, with various means of treating this tumor, and with the success vs. failure rate of my various choices. I did not feel pressured to choose any particular coarse of action, and it was my decision to move forward with surgery. Tracy was good to call me back in a timely manner with the answers to different questions that came up as I waited on my surgery date. Both surgeons took time to greet me prior to surgery, and I felt as though both of them were keenly interested in providing me with the best possible outcome. Dr. Gubbels took special interest in my case and interceded on my behalf concerning the kind of medical coverage I have that is not normally accepted by the hospital. Although our time was limited in our appointments, both Tracy and Dr. Gubbels are very personable and were able to portray a sincere concern for me, the individual. Unfortunately I would not recommend seeing Dr. Gubbels. He was considerably late (which I understand) but then rushed me through my appointment given it was now towards the end of the day. The office was clean and the other staff members were very nice but for the 500 dollars I was charged, I was hoping for my allotted 1 hour appointment time.

Mr Gubbels want to mint money nothing he knows other than that

I received incredible care! He was kind, took a lot of time before and after surgery and was the specialist I needed to fix my hearing. Highly recommend.

Dr Gubbels treated our 6 yr old daughter's cholesteatoma. It was a lengthy surgery. He and his staff were phenomenal from start to finish! Not only was the cholesteatoma removed successfully, there were no negative side affects from the surgery. Plus, Dr Gubbels was able to fully restore her hearing with placing a prosthetic ear drum! What a blessing to our family and answer to many prayers!
