Dr. Sandy Bernard Bahm II

Dr Bahm performed a survey on my broken ankle 3 years ago. One of the broken bones was not set properly and during the surgery he installed a screw which damaged the nerves resulting in my toes never regaining all of the feeling. Now I have a constant tingling in my toes and daily pain from the bones rubbing together. I had to have an additional surgery to remove the hardware Dr Bahm installed and have also had consultations with a podiatrist who tell me that I will need an ankle replacement in a few years due to the botched surgery. I’m sure Dr Bahm was a fine doctor at one time, but he needs to retire as he is no longer competent. Take my recommendation and choose another doctor

Doc is never available, office is never in, and the billing garbage. Even after you pay they still send you bills. Avoid this doctor's office.

My husband had knee replacement surgery march of 2016 by Dr Bahm at St Marks in Lagrange. He never had good results. Last week he had exam by another surgeon and found that the wrong size replacement had been used and improperly placed. He is now scheduled for revision surgery. Beware this dr!!! Over year and half of partial disability from bad procedures.

He did such a poor job on a rotator cuff tear less than 2 yrs ago I'm now having to have the shoulder replaced. He kept me in traction too long & my shoulder froze up & he wanted to put me under anesthesia & manually break up scar tissue. When I asked could this break a bone he said sure but I haven't broke 1 yet & I usually work on old people. I had to stay @hospital overnight instead of going home he was in such a hurry to discharge he only said here's 4 pain med refills call for follow up!

Dr. Bahm did nothing but take some x-rays and tell me to take aleve. I have chronic back and neck pain DDD and I am in need of at least 3 back surgeries and he thinks aleve is going to control my pain what a joke! His staff really shouldn't tell people that he may help them until they can get to pain managment because he is obviously a Dr. that doesn't care about peoples pain and the day to day issues it can cause
