Sanjay Chaube

I had moved to bay st Louis and needed to find a doctor.i unfortunately found Dr chaube. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and he was the rudest doctor I have EVER experienced in my life. This was back in 2018 and my experience with him still haunts me to this day. I've never felt more invalidated and less of a human than when I saw him. I could go on, but i won't. Save yourself the mental stress and find a different doctor, this man should not be helping others.

Dr. Chaube's bedside manner is the worst I have even seen when going to the doctor. I agree with other reviews that say he is sometimes disrespectful to his patients. When it comes to weight loss, he doesn't recommend things like low carbohydrate lifestyle changes. He wants to prescribe some ridiculous pills. He can't recognize insulin resistance and just belittles patients that can't lose weight when eating the standard American diet filled with carbohydrates.

I was very pleased with my visit. I had been seeing my previous PCP for quite a few years and she retired , so I was concerned about having to find another primary care provider. As my previous PCP was also Memorial, my chart was in the system and he had thoroughly reviewed it. He was very thorough in his examination, knew my medical and some personal history that I recently went through that was documented in my chart, and my lab results. He listened, asked questions, and was compassionate and knowledgeable. His office staff was very nice, also. I was very pleased with my visit. I was very pleased with my visit. I had been seeing my previous PCP for quite a few years and she retired , so I was concerned about having to find another primary care provider. As my previous PCP was also Memorial, my chart was in the system and he had thoroughly reviewed it. He was very thorough in his examination, knew my medical and some personal history that I recently went through that was documented in my chart, and my lab results. He’s a great doctor, he does his homework before he even walks into the exam room. It’s so hard to find decent doctors these days, but he’s one of the best you’ll find on the gulf coast!!! He got my diabetes under control and a normal A1c within 3 months!!!

I thought he was a good doctor till I found out he and my wife at the time went out on a date

Dr Chaube is a nice man, but unfortunately I was unable to receive service when needed.

I am very pleased with Dr. Chabet. He takes time to explain things. He listens to what you have to say. I would recommend him .

Couldn’t be more satisfied with Dr. Chaube. If you want a proactive physician, he is your man. He will attempt to prevent issues by advising you of lifestyle changes rather than prescribing medications, if possible. He is very personable- no computer or clip board in his hand when he enters to see you. He has already reviewed your blood profile, records, test, etc.

Dr. Chaube is a rare gem in the medical world. He takes the time to get to know you before making any decision. The level of mutual respect is apparent as he walks into the room, and there is a real standard of care. He explains things simply, while not infantilizing or insulting your intelligence. He earned every ounce of my respect, both as a veteran and a Mississippian, by being a genuine person. When you need him, Dr. Chaube will be there for you, no matter where you are or what you need.

Unfortunately Dr. Chaube didn’t invest anytime with me after a recent hospital visit. He prescribed a medication that needed to be monitored closely. He did not read my lab reports and as a result I ended up back in the hospital needing a blood transfusion due to his neglect. I was very sick because he just didn’t do his job. Shame on you Dr. Chaube.

My wife & I are impressed with Dr. Chaube He even read my file (fm TX) BEFORE seeing me, which is rare.

His bedside manner was distasteful and off-putting. He made snap judgments based on my appearance alone, before even speaking to me. He was RUDE and wrongfully opinionated. He had the gall to charge me FULL PRICE for a follow up that was to be included in my initial visit. He spoke to me like I was a child, instead of a United States Marine Veteran. He seemed skeptical about any of my answers regarding my medical history. I will never see him again and REFUSE to recommend him to anyone who asks.
