Called the office. Was put on hold 3 times. Took 15 minutes for her to tell me that we would have to redo lab work (which for those who’ve gone through it, is expensive, time consuming, painful and emotional). The reason given, “because our lab is the best in the country”. Didn’t even accept to review our lab work before making that decision. I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt but it just feels like I’m being scammed. It’s unfortunate because this doctor looks great but you’re really “hiring” the office staff and their policies, because that’s where you spend 95% of your time. Called the office. Dr. Barton and her team were great to work with at CCRM. Dr. Barton was very knowledgeable and helped us figure out the right path for us understanding our insurance, preferences and history. We got pregnant with our second IUI. CCRM was there for us every step of the way. Easy to get a hold of - would highly recommend! We will be going back for future pregnancies if needed. I switched to Dr. Barton after having a terrible experience with a different provider, and she was the most incredible person to work with. She made me feel confident in her abilities, I trusted her instantaneously, and she empathized with what I was going through. She consistently offered up more information than we knew to ask for, and was so patient with us while we navigated our infertility journey. Right out of the gate, her team administered hundreds of new tests that the previous office failed to do to help rule out additional abnormalities. She connected me with an acupuncturist to solve a uterine blood-flow issue that I never knew I had. I would trust Dr. Barton with my life, and cannot think of a better doctor to guide a patient through turbulent times. The entire staff was organized, friendly, optimistic and the entire experience was positive even when it was challenging emotionally. I'm also officially pregnant so that's just the cherry on top!

Dr. Barton provided the highest level of care. She was hopeful, yet honest. Aggressive without being overwhelming, and most importantly sincere and compassionate. She ushered us through the IVF process with care, while also being straight forward about the realistic changes that our journey would result in a pregnancy. I'm happy to report that it did and I owe Dr. Barton and the science that drives CCRM behind that result.

We can't thank Dr. Barton enough for her support and expertise in helping us get pregnant. We felt supported the whole way through and everyone in the office was always so kind. We are so happy we chose to go with CCRM. Dr. Barton's personal attention was also outstanding. She called to congratulate us, and sent a baby onesie and card when we found out the good news.

Dr. Barton is amazing! We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her during our time at CCRM. From the beginning, she took the time to get to know my husband and I and understand our needs, and of course to share important information about our journey along the way. She is extremely thorough, very knowledgeable, and kept our best interest in mind. I can recommend Dr. Barton and CCRM with no reservations and can't thank her enough for all of her help and guidance during our time at CCRM.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Barton and the staff at CCRM. I would highly recommend them to a friend or family member. I can not think of one negative thing to say about my experience there. Everyone was so kind and helpful. This was my first experience going through IVF and it was a pleasantly good experience.

Dr. Barton (and the entire CCRM team) could not have been more compassionate throughout my fertility journey. She was always willing and able to talk through the steps, procedures and statistics with me in great length to help me fully understand my fertility options and potential outcomes. My appointments never felt rushed and were always very thorough. I suffered a miscarriage after a series of IUI and she treated me with the utmost compassion and kindness as I navigated that very difficult and at times scary experience. Dr. Barton was always honest and up front about my personal situation and the likelihood of becoming pregnant, while maintaining sensitivity and empathy, a perfect balance. It was a long road (4 cycles of IUI, 1 miscarriage, 2 egg retrievals for IVF and 1 IVF transfer), but my husband and I are finally pregnant and on the road to becoming parents! I truly miss seeing Dr. Barton and the CCRM Rose team as we've transitioned over to our midwife.

Dr. Barton was absolutely wonderful! She was patient, kind, and caring! She also made my spouse (wife) and I feel like we were more than welcome to the CCRM facility and processes! She would wear her rainbow heart pin during some visits which was a cute sentiment for me. She explained everything super well and made sure we understood everything throughout the process. During COVID she was VERY supportive and gave us advice on when to proceed. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Barton to any person seeking to do IVF treatment, especially as LGBTQ families!!!!! The only part of the process that we didn't care for that has NOTHING to do with Dr. Barton was ONE of the nurses (NOT NPs) there was very cold and condescending towards us on numerous occasions over the phone.

I had the best experience with Dr. Barton, her staff and CCRM in general. They were very informative during the process and were always available for questions. Even during COVID, the process was easy. I highly recommend Dr. Barton.

I had the best experience at CCRM. In July 2019, I went to a different endocrinologist who gave me a pretty bleak fertility outlook and who presented the news in a very unprofessional manner. After grieving for a few weeks, I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Sara Barton at CCRM, and I am so grateful that I did! She was kind, understanding, and professional. She listened to my experience, had me get retested at CCRM to confirm my AMH (1.3)and FSH (10.5) #s, and walked me through all the possibilities with egg harvesting - both good and bad. I made the decision to go through the egg harvesting process in February and was able to freeze more eggs than I expected (11!). Throughout the entire experience, I felt super supported by the entire CCRM staff, especially my assigned nurse, Britney, who was available via phone or email any time I had a question (and I had quite a few!). Definitely recommend to anyone who wants the best of the best helping them in their fertility journey.

My wife and I worked with Dr. Barton for both of our successful pregnancies and highly recommend her. She is professional, caring, sensitive to LGBT unique needs, and great at what she does! We experienced clear communication and direction throughout the process. We are thankful for Dr. Barton and the entire CCRM team!

I worked with Dr. Barton at CCRM from January - December 2019. It took a couple of months to get all the initial fertility testing done, and then we were successful on our third IUI! Dr. Barton is incredibly kind and compassionate, taking the time to discuss with us the current research on different potential causes of and treatments for infertility. Most of the time, it was her staff (nurse Becca and others) who called with updates or answers to our questions - and this made CCRM incredibly efficient. I never waited more than 15 minutes for an appointment, and often less than 5. I was almost always able to schedule an appointment on the day or time I needed, and I would often get a call back within 2-3 hours if I had a question about something. I highly recommend working with Dr. Barton!

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Barton and CCRM in general. While we were ultimately successful in our endeavor (which, at age 42 is saying a lot), the truth is, I would still be writing an excellent review even if we weren't. CCRM is a huge, smooth, well-oiled machine. There is a reason that they are the best in the country. Dr. Barton was kind, but honest and straight-forward. She gave us excellent, evidence-based advice throughout our course. We are so lucky and so very thankful!

Dr. Barton has been wonderful to have as a physician. She is incredibly smart and experienced, but she also respects her patients and their individual needs/experiences. She has really advocated for me as a patient, even when others would have given up on me. She is the best!

The infertility journey can be isolating, challenging and emotionally exhausting. It is also increasingly more tough in a state that does not require insurance assistance to feel that you are getting the best advice for your specific issue and are not just a number. I am 37, have diminished ovarian reserve as well as restricted uterine blood flow and therefore had to do IVF. I am now pregnant, which I don't think would have been possible without Dr. Barton. Although CCRM sees a lot of patients, Dr. Barton, her nurse Becca and the rest of their staff were always available, supportive, patient and kind. I am a healthcare provider and had many questions that they always took the time to answer. They made me feel like family, and seemed to be equally as invested in our dream to start a family as we were. This is a difficult process to go through but it was truly made easier because of the genuine support that I felt from Dr. Barton and her team.

We saw another RE before going to Dr. Barton that ran some blood tests, led me through failed Clomid trials, and then wanted to start IVF treatments. Since we didn’t feel like she was very through, and knowing that CCRM has the best IVF success rates, we decided to start over with CCRM. Dr. Barton began by running much more through tests and immediately found the issue – my uterus was filled with scar tissue from my c-section and therefore I couldn’t get pregnant. She performed a surgery to clear the scar tissue in their beautiful surgery center and I got pregnant naturally months later. Once I got pregnant they monitored everything around my pregnancy until week 8. Their care was first class, as well as all of their facilities and communications. I’ve never received such wonderful healthcare. I should note that CCRM wasn’t covered under our insurance, and they’re more expensive than other places we looked at, but you get what you pay for – quality and success.

I would highly recommend Dr. Barton to anyone seeking an infertility evaluation. Her practice style is highly evidence based which as a physician myself, I find essential. We were pregnant within 3 months of our first consultation with her and I can guarantee we will be seeing her again when we plan for our next baby! I was also very impressed with the individual attention she provided as I felt constantly informed as to the next steps/plan.

Sara and her team at CCRM are amazing! They are incredibly thoughtful and thorough and everything they do is completely customized to every person. I never felt like I was just another patient - they truly care about my health, what's best for my family and most importantly, getting me pregnant! And beyond that, the whole team at CCRM take so much care of each patient, no matter who your doctor is, you really feel like family there. I could not emphasize more how appreciative we are for them and their help in getting us pregnant and HIGHLY recommend them and Sara!!

Dr Barton has been very caring and compassionate towards me on my journey, always thinking about my specific issues and financial circumstances. I have been very please with her as a doctor so far. She seems open to listening to me as a patient and not pressuring me in any way. Rather, I find she is an advocate of personalized medicine rather than pushing any standard, “one-size-fits-all” protocols.

Very distant and cold. She is detached. I guess she has been doing IVF for too long and she doesn't empathize with patients. I felt I was just a client she was offering services for a price. Very impersonal and cold. Don't want to deal with that again. Had rediculus waiting times with her. Never on time.
