He’s an amazing physician who did a wonderful job on a family member’s hip replacement. He’s very caring and knowledgeable.

Dr Kunapuli worked me in his busy schedule due to the high degree of my injury. Not for one second did I feel like I was an add on to his day. Honestly, I thought, he squeezed me in and he would be in a hurry to get to his next appointment. Far from it! He spent so much time with me, I actually felt guilty for his time that I had taken. However, he made sure that all questions were answered and he had a level of empathy that resonated with me. From the front desk check in , xray staff, nurses and scheduling for urgent surgery, all were extremely kind and professional. Within a couple of hours, all appointments have been scheduled from pre op to postoperative, extremely efficient. I am beyond grateful to this group of professionals!! I have a job that i am dedicated to and they have done everything to minimize my professional disruption. I'm not even in surgery yet but I feel very well cared for and 100 percent confident and secure! Thank you all!!

Dr. Kunapuli and his PA Justin are amazing. I have not yet had my knee replacement surgery yet, but leading up to it, I knew I was in excellent hands with Dr. Kunapuli. Every time I leave his office, I feel like I’m in such good hands. Justin his PA, met with me and my husband twice to answer the million questions we had. He never made us feel bad or rushed us through it. He was so patient and understanding. I felt bad for asking so many questions, but this was such a huge decision for us regarding timing and the fact that I’m younger than a lot of people who have a knee replacement. But he was gracious and understanding. Anyway, I hardly ever give reviews, but my experience so far has been the best!! I also want to mention that the surgery center is absolutely the best place to have a surgery and I’m so happy they do it at a Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. At that hospital there are no sick patients and so it makes it so much safer to have surgery there… plus the facility is beautiful!! I know people in the medical field, one who is a physical therapist, another who supplies the knee replacements to the doctors, and talked to another orthopedic specialist, who all said that if they were going to have surgery, they would have Dr. Kunapuli do it. That spoke volumes!!!

Dr. Kunapuli is an excellent orthopedist. He’s caring, knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He has helped me through 5 needed knee surgeries and 1 total hip replacement.Through each surgery he provided positive encouragement .He does his research and does not do any surgery hastily. I highly recommend him for a consultation, secondly, his advice about your needs, and surgery, if he says it’s needed. A special thanks to his PA Justin and also James in braces.

Kunapali did my hip replacement and I have had many surgeries but this by far was the easiest surgery I have had done! I felt confident with dr kunapuli when he walked in the room. He wasn’t in a hurry and was very kind and listened to me. He was an excellent surgeon

Start seeing this Dr. about a year ago and he has prolonged my need to have a knee replaced by I hope a couple of years. He is very caring and listens to my questions and is not so fast to pull the trigger on surgery. If there is a way you can have a better life without surgery I think this is the guy to see. Very happy with him.

I am so glad I chose Dr. Kunapuli to do my surgery. He was very informative and listened to all my questions without trying to leave the room. My surgery went great. My experience with Dr. Kunapuli and Justin, his assistant, was so good and the Oklahoma Surgical Hospital was the best Hospital I have ever been in.

I had partial hip replacement five years ago and it failed. I asked two doctors for recommendation and they both recommended Dr. Kunapuli for the revision with a total hip replacement. It was not easy to get in to see Dr. Kunapuli. I had to gather all the surgery note from the hospital in New York and the medical record from the prior orthopedic surgeon. It was worth the efforts. He explained the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery and showed me the parts. He answered a list of questions and was never in a hurry. The surgery was successful and the differences in length of my legs were corrected. It had been two months since surgery, my incisions healed well. There were a lot of pre-surgery and post-surgery information that were given to me in a timely manner through text messages and emails. I went to Advanced Othropedic Physical Therapy in Bixby. Ashley Dudley did manner manipulation to help loosen the hip joint and was most helpful. The doctor, hospital and after care are top notch!

Dr. Kunnapuli is an excellent trauma surgeon. He did a fantastic job of fixing my broken arm.

I've been dealing with bad osteoarthritis since 2015 and he was the first surgeon to see my pain and complete a knee replacement instead of just saying you are too young for surgery and I also love the concern he shows towards my healing process

First visit to this facility but they were very kind and Dr Kunapuli explained everything to us. Frank has stage 4 cancer and this complicates getting his hip replaced but they are going to evaluate and decide what the best option is.

Dr K took care of my knee.. Had a knee replace in 2016 and a titanium rod was left in. The knee replacement and rod started hitting and caused a lot of damage. 2019 Dr. K took the knee out and the rod. Then replaced the knee. Really wish I had him to start with!

Needing a double knee replacement. Was referred to Dr. Kunapuli by Dr. Boone; my current knee doctor; to discuss the Robotic knee procedure. Just the thought of having both knee bones cut off and a new metal knee installed, well was mentally very disturbing to me. Dr. Kunapuli was totally awesome describing the process and answering all questions. He took the time to slowly make me feel so much more relaxed about this procedure, which does not cut the bones off. After talking with Dr. Kunapuli, I know he is the right doctor to help my knees. I would also like to thank Dr. Brad Boone who is an awesome doctor also. I do believe he knew I was having issues with this surgery and thought the robotic procedure Dr. Kunapuli does was right for me. Now I just need to decide when. This doctor and his staff in the Claremore office is the best. They are fun loving and laugh at my jokes AND they joke back with me. They can be serious and informative but they have made me feel comfortable with every step of my care received. It is easier to make decisions regarding my treatment options when they take the time to explain the details. I am seeing them due to an accident while on my first day on a new job. It was life changing and then COVID-19 arrived creating chaos, delays & frustration. Worker's Comp is not the ideal circumstances but I appreciate this staff so much. There are not enough words to describe how much respect and trust I have for Dr. K. He gave me my life back. He also was there for me during the last 5 years of my knee issues. He always reassured me that I was going to be ok. He supported my decisions. His bedside manners are unlike any other Dr I have had. I wish every Dr. was like Dr. K. I used Dr Kunapuli for my first knee replacement and now 6 years later my second. He's a fabulous doctor. He loves what he does and he's good at it.

Full left hip replacement was my first major surgery so I don’t have an experience with any other surgeon, but I felt that I was well taken care of by Dr. Kunapuli and his staff. I felt pretty well prepared with the information provided, although I would’ve like to have had the chance to attend a class or info session (I heard this was a thing just a few days before my procedure) secondary to the two office visits I had. The office runs very efficiently once figure out new system. The new facility is gorgeous too! As a retired nurse and patient Dr. Kunapuli is one in a million. I really appreciated his patient centered care while listening to my concerns, answering my questions, and making sure I understood his suggestions. His attention to detail and his skills as a physician are above an evaluation of 5 stars. He shared a new noninvasive pain control (iovera) which is an option if my pain worsens. Absolutely fantastic experience with Dr. Kunapuli and his staff, notably his PA Justin Tomlinson. Had a couple of steroid treatments before deciding a hip replacement was in order. I did not have any complications and followed the after surgery protocol and rehab to the letter. Within 10 days i was off the walker AND cane. By 6 weeks I was doing GREAT. Dr Kunapuli is an extremely kind, caring, friendly, skilled doctor I went to him after having hip surgery done by a well-known doctor in Tulsa. Total knee replacement done. Excellent job and outcome .

From my first visit with Dr Kunapuli I knew he would be the one to replace my right knee, I did everything he told me to do clear up to the surgery morning, surgery went great, went home the next day, I am 6 weeks in so far now after the surgery, Dr Kunapuli has changed my life, I can do things I have not done in years, seriously!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING DR. KUNAPULI, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

My hip replacement went well except for the anesthesia. Something affected me differently as compared to my other 3 surgeries for replacements. Dr Kunapuli's expertise is much appreciated!!!!

Dr k replaced my hip and did an amazing job. After a week and a half I felt no pain and felt great.

Dr Kunapuli replaced my left hip in Dec 2018. He is a very accomplished surgeon. He always listens to you and explains what is to expect. His staff are extremely friendly and his PA Justin is knowledgeable and very professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this group.

Dr. K has given me my life back, no two ways about it! I had a hip replaced by him and I wish I had gone to him first, as I wouldn't have wasted several years due to the pain! He is a caring, compassionate and wonderful doctor and had me back horseback 5 weeks to the day, as he promised! He also cares for my husband and he won't see any other doctor for his knee. I recommend Dr. Kunapuli as highly as I possibly can.

Dr. Kunapuli did my hip replacement on me at 43 yo. 8 mo. after surgery still in pain. Went back to find our why, instead try anti-inflammatories, injection, injection again, try PT. Never looking for why there was still pain. Went for 2nd opinion. Had revision and my replacement was in wrong...causing the pain. I'm not blaming anyone....just wish he would have looked for the "problem" and fixed it instead of throwing band-aids on it. 3 mo. after revision with diff. Dr & I'm pain free.

He intentionally ignored a muscle injury on my hip which was the entire reason I went there to see him! Complete waste of time and money.

I can't rate anything but wait time. I sat jn the office for over 30 minutes and never saw the dr. I was the first appt of the day, and he just failed to show up. I had blocked time off work in the morning, but had to return to work because I wasn't planning in the dr being late to hos job by over 30 mins. People ina all other professions are expected to be punctual, so why is it ok for doctors to be late so frequently?

Dr K gave me my life back with a total knee replacement on 9/7/2018 after suffering with Chronic knee pain since 2007. I had a prior arthroscopy & worn ACL brace 2 years before asking my PCP to send me to Dr K. I would recommend him to family, friends, or anyone needing a skilled & talented knee/hip surgeon. Not only is he a terrific surgeon, he's got an awesome bedside manner. He doesn't act rushed. He listens, and answers all your questions. I can't wait to see my progress this time next year.

From the hospital to staff and assistants that Dr. Kunapuli has on his team were fabulous! I had total left hip replacement, and Dr. Kunapuli explained to me step by step what was going to happen, length of healing and what to expect next. He’s a class act, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing hip replacement. I felt very comfortable with him.

He is the BEST surgeon I have ever dealt with and I have had quite a few surgeries. Very knowledgeable and concerned about you as a patient and person. Would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Dr.Kunapuli communicates well & has a positive bedside manner. He is kind, professional, & a excellent surgeon. I was referred to Dr.Kunapuli by my pain management doc. I previously had a surgeon, R.Labutti, who is total opposite of Dr.Kunapuli. I am extremely grateful for Dr.Kunapuli. Anyone needing a great Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr.Kunapuli is the best choice.
