Dr. Scott R Messenger

An excellent doctor, great bedside manner. He performed a tonsillectomy on me. He explained the procedure in detail and addressed any concerns I had. I experienced minimal pain post-op and am very satisfied. 100% would recommend him.

Dr. Messenger performed a tonsillectomy on me. He explained the procedure in depth and always had an excellent bedside manner. The surgery itself was very successful and I experienced minimal post-operative pain. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering a tonsillectomy or any other ENT related health issues.

I want to leave a review about Dr. Messenger.. I have never had an appointment with him. I have made five appointments with him since July 2020 it is now September 8. He has canceled every single one. The first three they didn’t even call me to tell me he wouldn’t be in. The last two They did call.. not to be rude to the receptionist but I wanted to know why he keeps canceling the day of what is going on. She could not tell me. I know she can’t it’s not her fault.. but as this doctor wants to take off why doesn’t he just take off instead of canceling everyone’s appointments the day of.. frustrated with this guy. I don’t even want to go in and see him now. I gave him one rating because I hear that he is an excellent doctor but I wouldn’t know because I can’t even get in there to see him..

I cannot say anything about the care of the doctor himself, but I am extremely disappointed in the way his office is run. My son had an appointment with him today and my husband carted all three kids into the office. It was our first time there, and due to some trouble locating the office my husband arrived with all three kids in tow, 8 minutes late. They immediately canceled my son's appointment and refused to let them see the doctor today, stating he was too busy. We almost never run late, but this one time circumstances could not be helped and they did not even allow us a 15 minute grace period. I will not be sending my son there again, the staff was rude and completely unforgiving. Patients are almost always expected to wait 15-30 minutes to be seen when they arrive for their appointments, but 8-9 minutes late for an appointment, really? I could not be more disappointed. If I could, I would select O star!!! I cannot say anything about the care of the doctor himself, but I am extremely disappointed in the way his office is run. He is the best and very smart and i am very happy with him and i have been seeing him for years.

Getting an appointment was egg good experience. I was in an emergency situation and they were able to take me just two hours after I called. Dr. Messenger was pleasant and had a good bedside manner. Explain everything that was going on. And made me feel very comfortable.

What a special doctor! Dr. Messenger was amazing with my 10 year old son. He was friendly, professional, and thorough. He explained what he was going to do, not only to me, but to my anxious son who he was super sweet to. He did a great job easing his nerves and was calming and wonderful! I can’t say enough good things!

Dr. Messenger performed a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on my son. He is a phenomenal doctor and a kind and caring person. He is friendly, professional, very experienced, and thorough. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced, highly-skilled ENT with a wonderful bedside manner that they can feel 100% confident in. He explained everything about what needed to be done and put my son, who is generally quite nervous about doctor visits and procedures, immediately at ease. He is intuitive, responsive, and caring, and he did a wonderful job with my son's surgery. We are very grateful to have found him, and I can't recommend him enough! Amazing doctor, one of the best. Terrific bedside manners and so patient and nice. Very informative and did a fabulous job with the surgery. Would 100% recommend!!

I'm a new patient and its refreshing to have a doctor that is confident in what he's telling you. He also made sure to make contact me even after his work hours to tell what the next steps are.

Dr. Messenger is the absolute best doctor with the best bedside manner. I am a professional touring musician and suffered from terrible sinus infections for years that Doctor Messenger always was immediately available to treat. He cares SO much about his patients. I finally decided to do the surgery to correct my sinuses with him since he is really the only doctor I would ever trust. I have been healthy and feeling better than ever for months. I love Dr. Messenger. I used to see another ENT in the practice but happened to see Dr. Messenger for a sick visit once. He is the best. He is very professional, polite, thorough, makes accurate diagnosis, and listens to you regarding your needs and experiences with medications. I live five minutes from an urgent care and they constantly misdiagnosis me, so when I really need to see a good doctor, I drive 30 minutes to see Dr. Messenger. Highly recommend, he is worth the trip!!

Dr Scott has been our family ENT for over 32 years. We took our daughter to see him when she was 3 years old (now 35 y.o). He has treated my 2 grown daughters; their 6 children; my wife and I. His nurse Maureen is the best, as well. We would not see any other ENT as long as Doctor Scott M. is still in our area. He is caring;compassionate; listens to all your concerns, etc. I consider him to be a model of what a "good doctor" should be!

Dr. Messenger was absolutely wonderful. I needed a tonsillectomy(which he preformed) and he told me exactly what to expect from beginning to end of the operation and was always just a call away if I had any questions during the week-long recovery phase. Also, his office staff was extremely helpful in setting everything up from beginning to end. He is an extremely personable doctor that really knows what he is talking about and I would 100% recommend Dr Messenger for any ENT related issue that you are having.
