Dr. Scott N. Pinchot

You are in such great hands with Dr. Pinchot. I was very nervous in getting this procedure. He makes you feel at ease from the very beginning. I'm very happy with my results and I definitely and highly recommend him.

Sept 22/23, 2013, I was driving and hit a tree. It was intentional. At the time I had lost everything in my life I had worked for. I had no more hope in life. Dr Pinchot was the doctor that night in the emergency room. He saved my life. After emergency surgery and I had woken up he came in the recovery room and talked to me for about a half hour or more. I had told him how I lost everything, house, car and job. I had several operations by Dr Pinchot. He really cared about me and always helped me when he could. I didn't have money for medical supplies or medication. First time in my entire life I needed insurance and didn't have it. I would reach out to him and tell him when I needed bandages or medication. He knew I was homeless; he would tell me where to call for the things I needed. Didn’t matter if it was the weekend or not, he would always call me back and help me. The support he gave me I don’t know if I would have made it through all of that. Thank you Dr Pinchot!

Dr. Pinchot was my surgeon for a laparoscopic bowel resection due to diverticulitis. I was very pleased with the way that he treated me as a patient and his pre and post-operative care. He explained everything carefully and answered all of my questions. The procedure itself was as easy as possible and now 6 weeks post-surgery, I am so pleased with the outcome. I believe his techniques for the surgery are well ahead of others and he is caring and personable. I highly recommend Dr. Pinchot.

Dr. Pinchot is an incredible surgeon! Five weeks after my surgery and I don't even feel any soreness. He has three years of specialized training and experience to handle the "out of the ordinary" procedures. After my procedure, he followed up with a personalized phone call a few days later to check in on me. He listens to his patients and has to confidence to know how to do things the right way the first time. He's an asset to the NCH system and to our community. This is why my primary care physician highly recommended him.

I went to Dr. Pinchot for Internal Hemorrhoid's, He preformed hemorrhoidectomy surgery and also rubber banded a few other ones that were inside that may have given me problems at a later date. After my surgery I didn't have any pain at all and never once took the pain medication he prescribed to me. My light bleeding stopped at the end of day 9...which I heard could last up to 2 or 3 weeks. I am extremely happy with Dr. Pinchot's work and he is a really really nice guy and puts you100% at ease about everything! Highly Recommended!

I am a 46 year old female that was referred to Dr Pinchot after my colonoscopy revealed a cancerous tumor. The tumor ended up being stage 2. Dr. Pinchot went above and beyond by getting me an office visit 2-3 days later and then surgery was scheduled 10 days after that. Normally pts have to wait at least 2 weeks for an office appt and 30 days for surgery. My surgery was laoaroscopic using the DaVinci Robot. My recovery was remarkably quick with normal life returning after only 2 weeks. Dr Pinchot is an amazing surgeon with a very kind and thorough bedside manner. This review is long overdue, but wanted to take the time to thank Dr. Pinchot and his team. I had a severe case of pain everytime I used bathroom. It was an issue that I had dealt with for YEARS. To the point where now I had pain in my legs and foot because of it. I could not take it anymore. It affected my everyday life, my work life, every single day of my life!! I look back and think "how did I live like that for so long?". When I finally made the effort to see what what was going on. (Had not wanted to address the issue before, in my kind thinking the worst)... I had been referred to ANOTHER surgeon prior to Dr. Pinchot. Which I think the other surgeon made things worse. Not only was I already dealing with pain but the other surgeon did a procedure with no anesthetic which ended up doing more harm than good as now I was in worse pain. My regular days when going to the bathroom I would be at 7-8 pain, (10 being the worst).With the new procedure I was at 10+. I decided to go back to my primary care physician who referred to Dr. Pinchot. And now I finally was on the road to a solution. From the initial consult, it was different. Dr. Pinchot took the time to *PATIENTLY listen to symptoms and questions. He address the issue and actually did a check up instead of "guessing" like the other guy did. Dr Pinchot let me know his plan of action. We scheduled the surgery. The surgery went according to plan. It was painless And luckily for me, recovery was painless as well. So well that I didn't even need painmeds after the surgery. Dr. Pinchot literally changed my life with his procedure. No more pain after YEARS of suffering. I can't thank him enough. I saw dr Pinchot after I had visited the er at NW Community Hospital- I was thoroughly impressed by how intently he studied my scans and tried to explain everything to me - he even remarked a couple of times it looked “interesting “ and was atypical- after I left his office I learned that his medical group did not accept Aetna insurance so I had to go to another one who did. Two days ago he had his staff call me in the afternoon to check on me and make sure I had scheduled the surgery with another in network dr. ( I did) But - I have never had a dr contact me a few weeks after I saw him and especially since I could not have it done by him - to be that compassionate and actually worried about me - Dr Pinchot is a one in a million Dr with many gifts and his interest in medicine as well has his keen intensity serve his patients very well - I recommend him highly -

I've seen Dr. Pinchot about 4 times, and he is one of the finest doctors I have worked with. He knows his stuff, took care of me each time, his staff just as efficient, helpful, eager to help.

Dr Pinchot performed a surgery for my husband's giant cyst removal on his buttock and back on head on Nov 2019. We actually thought it was a lipoma but he has kindly explained the differences. He has great bedside manner, and while I was waiting at the hospital lobby, he personally came out to inform me of his conditions. When we came back for stitch removal, he has personally removed them and did a great job. We had a bunch of concerns on NZ activities as we were leaving in a few days and he addressed all of them patiently.

Highly recommend Dr. Pinchot! I was suffering from hemorrhoids and anal pain and my primary MD sent me to a surgeon who left me completely discouraged and unsure of how to proceed. Found Dr. Pinchot on the internet and was able to see him the next day. Upon examination, he immediately diagnosed the problem (anal fissures) and recommended a swift plan of action. Feel blessed that I found him and would highly recommend him to anyone. This doctor knows what he's doing and does it right with the patient's best interests in mind.

I was blindsided two months ago with colorectal cancer and endometrial cancer. I was referred to Dr. Pinchot and immediately felt reassured that I was in good hands. He partnered with Dr. Mills and they performed a colectomy and total hysterectomy on the same day. Two weeks later I am amazed at my post op progress. He has a wonderful manner and is obviously a talented surgeon. I recommend him highly. I believe he made all the difference in the rest of my life.

Dr Pinchot has an extremely pleasing bedside manner and is very easy to talk with, his answers are completely understandable. My surgery was so successful we recommended him to a close friend. Thank you again, Dr Pinchot!

Dr Pinchot was amazing! He educated me on making the best decisions and knowing every step of the process. My recovery times have been faster than the national average too. My MD had me see a hemorrhoid Specialist she said the one on the outside was not bad so leave alone , it was pain & bleeding, was told to keep an eye on them, I changed Doctors and ask for names of good hemorrhoid Doctor and he said Dr. Pinchot , I did & He was amazing, He knew right away,but to make sure sent a sample to Lab, I had rectal cancer & it was taken care of. Everyone I met there was awesome, I would recommend Dr Pinchot to anyone. Northwest Community Hospital is the best around .

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Pinchot to anyone. From the time I started having problems, Dr. Pinchot explained, in detail, what his plan for me was going to be. He explained the surgical procedure to me and what I could expect. No surprises. I was very please with not only Dr. Pinchot, but also his staff, as well as, the care I received at Northwest Community Hospital. Thank you for your expertise and your compassion.

Dr. Pinchot is a caring and compassionate doctor. I had a very embarrassing problem & was so nervous about seeing a male doctor, but he made me so comfortable and cured me!!!

After a year of issues with my colon I found Dr Pinchot. He was up front and filled me in on all aspects of my surgery and recovery. From start to finish I was so thrilled. His staff is amazing-- Sherri his scheduler and the front desk as well as the nurses and PA's. Thank you for the amazing care I was given ????

When my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer, we initially chose Dr. Pinchot based on all the amazing reviews that he had. Today, I can say with confidence that I couldn't agree more with all his previous patient reviews. He is truly amazing doctor, surgeon and person. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Having heard that surgeons were famous for only giving you 5 minutes of their time or being aloof, Dr. Pinchot was a pleasant surprise. He spent over 30 minutes with me and would have spent more if I hadn't run out of questions. I felt I was a "patient" of his and not a "procedure". He also was very positive and upbeat and assured me that he was ultra cautious in his pre-surgery preparation in order to be prepared. He explained everything in detail. Colon resection went perfectly.

It was discovered that I had color rectal cancer and uterine cancer and all my doctors recommended that I see Dr. Pinchott for the surgery for the color rectal cancer. He performed the colon cancer surgery and at the same time Dr. Brooks performed the hysterectomy! What a blessing to have two at once. Dr. Pinchot has been excellent in the way he care for his patients and is always willing to refer to other doctors for a second opinion. Most of all , he is a very caring physician.

He is such an amazing surgeon both inside and outside the operating room! He takes his time with you and never makes you feel like you're wasting his time with questions. He really makes you feel like you're his priority. My surgery went great and my recovery was seamless. He is really an artist when it comes to incisions! I would encourage anyone to see Dr. Pinchot.

Dr. Pinchot was absolutely amazing taking care of my husband. We got an appointment the day after I called. He explained in detail about the surgery and made my husband and myself feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Pinchot was great prior to surgery and very comforting explaining how the surgery procedure went. He is an awesome person and doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. He showed an extreme amount of care and concern for my husband as a person and patient !!
