About Scott L Smith
Reviews for Scott L Smith
Great doctor. Listens well. Is interested in his patients. Very active in the community. He is our family doctor and has been for give or take thirty years. I trust him as a doctor and value the friendship.
Incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Excellent doctor.
Dr. Smith is an amazing man. Very caring and concerned with your health. I’m 35 years old and in some serious heart trouble. Dr. Smith was the one to get the ball rolling to save my life. Premier has friendly nurses and has been very reasonable with billing and insurance stuff. I’d recommend anyone to go here. Any issues I’ve had have been resolved and it’s nice to know there usually is someone who does care. They have been great in many ways. Dr. Smith is an amazing man. He knows what he is doing. Great stuff !
My previous post was about a different Scott Smith. My apologies about the one star rating. The dr I was referring to is out of st George.
Dr. Smith has been our family doctor for over twenty years. Yes, you have to wait your turn like anywhere else, but once he sees you he takes time to listen to you and never acts hurried. We were referred to him by a friend twenty plus years ago and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a family doctor today!
We met Dr. Smith when my husband was hospitalized with pneumonia. Dr. Smith was so attentive and thorough with the pneumonia and many other problems. We have continued to see him and look forward to every visit. He takes care of all our medical issues, but also supports us emotionally!!
Dr Smith is by far, one of the best doctors I have ever known. He not only is so knowledgeable but he is so patient and kind. Always listens with the utmost concern for my wellbeing. I live in CA but whenever I need to see a doctor outside of my insurance or to get a second opinion, I make an appointment with Dr Smith and he ALWAYS has the answer. He has helped and cured me of many medical issues when other doctors just continue to run test after test without answers. What an incredibly, intelligent and intuitive physician. I trust Dr. Smith with my life.
The last year I have see how lazy and pathetic medical doctors have become. If it is not obvious, or something they can just give you an antibiotic for, they just don't want to look for any other answer, or think outside their tiny box. And FORBID the symptoms involve PAIN. I get it, there is an opioid epidemic...but there are people that want you to run blood test, X-rays, MRI, etc...whatever it takes to give them an answer, not just drugs. Just because you can't find, or won't even look for an answer doesn't make that person an addict...it makes you bad at your job. As a family member of one of your patients, I've seen her suffer every day. But you're not the only one that has let her down...I guess trying to get a new set of eyes or second opinion makes someone a hypochondriac/drug addict too. Very nice and helpful. Both the staff & Dr Smith
I had an accident which ended up with a serious laceration on my index finger. Dr. Smith called a few hours after I left to see if my Tetanus shot was up to date.
Dr Smith's license should be revoked. Very unethical person!
He was in the room for maybe three minutes. He gave me antibiotics, presumably for a sinus infection although he didn't give me a diagnosis. His exam consisted solely on tapping on my face, he did not even look in my ears or at my sinuses. I was extremely disappointed in the level of care I received.
Love Dr Smith! I have been seeing him since I was young. He is so smart and thorough. I love that he always listens and takes appropriate measures to make sure you get feeling better.
Knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and caring. Always timely but when needed gives extra to ensure all my concerns are addressed.
Known Dr. Smith for over 30 years. He's accessible and knowledgeable as well as interested in doing what he can to solve whatever medical issue you have.
Dr. Smith is a student and is on top of all new remedies and medical procedures. He has never let me down by offering the wrong diagnosis or medication or referrals. He is a fine physician and that is why I give him 5 stars in every category.
Dr. Smith helped me a ton. He listened, paid attention, and explained things very well. Very helpful.
I like Dr Smith! 5 stars for Dr. Smith & 3 for the staff, so I will just round it up to 4. Keep up the good work Dr. Smith, but please get some better staff that actually do their jobs and return calls. Thanks!
Dr Smith is ten star worthy, his nurses as well!
Dr Scott Smith has been my Dr for over 30 years and I still drive from St George to see him. He has been treating my severe osteoporosis for over 3 years now and I have had AMAZING results. He just went to bat for me to get my insurance to cover my Prolea shots which are over $2,000 a shot! He took the time to fight for a medication I need!! I've known Dr. Smith for years. Dr. Smith is very dedicated to his patients. He is very loving, kind, and completely astute, aware of everything that is going on around him. Dr. Smith took care of me during a hospital stay. My own doctor was on vacation. I was so impressed with his care, his manner and his expertise. He listened to me, understood me and most of all he diagnosed my condition where others had not done so. I left the hospital feeling much better and asked him to take me on as a patient which he did. He has taken excellent care of my health! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

His office staff/nurses are not doing their job. You don't need to believe me, just leave a message and see if they will actually call you back. You can never seem to get anyone on the phone and when you go in they act like you are interrupting their day. They have no concept of customer service. They know they have plenty of patients and if they lose one or two through their rude and incompetent behavior it's not a big deal. Overbooked, Overloaded and Unprofessional. Dr. Smith is a very thorough and caring doctor. He is highly intelligent and dedicated to giving me and my family quality care. I highly recommend him.
I am so happy I found Dr. Smith. I have been going to him for several years now. He is caring and compassionate. He takes the time to explain things well. My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Smith and both feel that he is an excellent general practitioner.
Dr Smith has been my Doctor for over 20 years. (He is also the Doctor that my parents, siblings and their families go to!) He has been absolutely amazing! I have never had any issues with him or his staff. He is very personable and I have always felt at ease in his office.
Dr Smith is professional and very compassionate to his patients. He listens to his patiens and makes it easy to talk with him.
I don't even know where to begin, he treated me like garbage and told me: I wish you wouldn't come to me. I don't know what kind of a doctor, let alone person, can treat someone like that. I needed to know what was going on with my health and when I asked questions about his recommended treatments or alternatives he went off on me and how he's been doing things for 40 years. He's old and set in his ways and unwilling to entertain anyone's views but his own. Do not go to him!
I have been with Doctor Smith for many years. Aside from a complete miss on a hernia Doctor Smith is fine and seems to do the work required by doctors to stay up on the latest things. His office staff and nurses on the other hand are absolutely the worst. His office is so poorly run that it's just too hard to stay with him. It is next to impossible to get a live person on the phone and their message machine must be overloaded because they refuse to return any messages that are left on the machine. You walk up to the front desk and the ladies look at you like you are nothing but a bother. I felt like I had to tie Dr Smith down to to get him to spend a few minutes with me and when I told him about some of the concerns he had mentioned to me in previous visits he seemed surprised. All of this should be in my patient history but IT DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD IF YOU DON'T READ IT BEFORE I COME IN TO SEE YOU. They overbook the office and are very good at collecting money but after that you are just another body with money signs over your head. Is it really that difficult to call in a prescription? How hard can it possibly be? I left 4 messaged with the office and went down there twice to pick it up and they just couldn't seem to get it together. Do yourself a favor, find a doctor that has the time to actually care about the patient.
