Dr. Van Aman is a great surgeon. He has now repaired both of my feet and I would definitely recommend him to everyone with any kind of foot or ankle issue.

As a patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis, it is critical that I have the best orthopedic doctors working with my joints. This is the second surgery Dr Van Aman has performed for me and I won’t trust anyone else with my feet or ankles. He has gained my respect through his expertise, his listing aptitude and ability to deliver difficult information clearly with sensitivity. With the efficiency and helpfulness of his staff this office is an extremely well oiled machine.

Van Aman placed an inter medullary nail in my tibia in 2017. I have never had such a miserable experience in my life. I went back to him at least five times complaining of pain and swelling in my leg and my concerns were dismissed each and every time. As it turned out, I had several blood clots in my leg from being in a gigantic cast for two weeks and that is what was causing the pain and swelling. Additionally, I have constant, daily pain in my knee where the nail was inserted. I still, to this day, cannot kneel on that knee for more than a few seconds without excruciating pain. I did tell him about this several times in 2017 but that concern was also dismissed. With all of that aside, the worst experience was having to deal with his nurses. They were rude, nasty and unempathetic throughout the entire process. They should definitely not be in a position of authority over anyone that is suffering. I would definitely explore all other options before choosing Dr. Van Aman as your surgeon

He explained the problem in my ankle and how it could be treated well. I didn't feel like he was rushed to get out of the room.

The office is very organized and runs smoothly. Hardly any wait time. Dr Van Aman is personable and professional and explained my diagnosis and answered all questions in easy to understand terms. I will let you know about his abilities as a surgeon after my recovery.

Dr. Van Aman has operated on me twice; to repair a severed longus tendon several years ago and most recently he performed a calcaneal bone graft on my right foot. Dr. VanAman is a talented surgeon and the staff and office runs like a 'finely oiled machine'. I have never waited for an appointment for more than 5 minutes, everyone that I encounter is kind, considerate, and professional. My surgeries both went well and I am progressing as anticipated due to the expertise of Dr. Van Aman.
