Dr. Bak and Dr. Moore are great really, which is why my husband and I go. But the staff could use some training, especially for handling past patients.

Did an excellent job with my reverse shoulder replacement. Was good with answering questions and concerns. Highly recommended.

Going to a doctor is not always the best experience, but I have to say that was NOT my experience at Motor City Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr Bak and his entire staff are very caring, very professional, very good at what they do, from the time I entered the facility to the time I left. Dr Bak explains, questions, and truly listens to what you are saying/asking. I felt totally relaxed and satisfied during my time with Dr Bak and his staff.

I highly recommend Dr Bak. I had a bicep tendon rupture. He did an outstanding job, fully repaired, scar is barely visible, and I have 100% function again. He has a great bed side manner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t say enough about this Surgeon.

He never seems rushed and provides great notes for your patient portal. Dr Bak has done rotator repair procedures on both of my shoulders and I wouldn't consider anyone else! Everyone at office was wonderful!

My pre-op and post op experience has been outstanding. Very pleased with the outcome.

Dr. Bak, Shannon and his entire staff are amazing. I am so grateful for the time he is taking to fix another surgeons errors with my total shoulder replacement. I only wish I would have found Dr. Bak a year ago, I highly recommend him. It is worth driving an hour and a half for each appointment.

Dr. Bak was excellent. He educated me on all my options and we chose the best plan of action going forward.

Highly recommend Dr Bak. He lessons well, follows through will issues brought forward and personally followed up with me after surgery.

Dr. Bak was excellent, he took the time to explain my condition, we reviewed my x rays and MRI. He explained my options and we decided on the best way to proceed. I would definitely recommend him.

Great physician.... Very detailed and competent in his area or experties. Takes time with you, explaines the issue in plain English and discusses with the a joint plan forward. Also great bed side manners. I liked him as a person as well.

Great Place The staff is always pleasant, office is clean and Dr. Bak is great at coaching me through my injury, possible healing scenarios and treatment. He has excellent bedside manner.

Dr Bak is personable, informative and reassuring. Was seen well within the expected time frame, his team is professional and very service oriented. Would refer any friends and family here.

World class surgeon. Great listener and empathetic. Put my shoulder back together beautifully. Looking forward to many more years of serious athletic activity.

The Best!! Dr. Sean Bak is the man!!

Dr Bak is thorough, to the point and explains procedures and next steps clearly. I am very happy with my shoulder replacement surgery and recovery.

I was referred to Dr Bak by my regular orthopedic Doctor due to the extreme condition of my left shoulder which he could not repair. Dr Bak explained my condition &how he would replace it with reverse shoulder replacement. Surgery went well & I’m well into recovery with very little pain in only a month time. I’ve been in a medical nightmare for years with a complex situation, disabling pain and a string of rude dismissive doctors. Dr. Bak was the only person who actually listened to me, figured out a few of my issues and sent me out to have the first one corrected. I can’t wait to see him again for my elbows. My badly herniated neck would’ve just continued to cause me irreversible nerve damage if I hadn’t seen him. I’ll be grateful to him forever for treating me like a human being and taking the time to help me try to piece together what was going on. Can’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Bak has replaced both of my shoulders. The results were great. He is a great surgeon. He explains exactly what needs to be done and post operation he explains how well the operation went.

Dr, Bak has great bedside manners. He explains every detail and uses objects to explain your surgery. Explains x-rays. I fell so confidant with him. I have told people of his great services and highly recommend him.

Dr Bak is amazing, if you need a shoulder repair that’s where you go period.

I came to him to talk about a second shoulder replacement. He had done me right last fall. We decided to wait and have an injection at this point as I'm still recuperating from back surgery. So far it seems to have helped and I will wait until probably next summer/fall to have it done.

It was a good experience from the receptionist, the x-ray technicians and the doctor and his clinical team. Actually, pulling the bandage off hurt worse than the injection!

I trust Dr. Bak. He has given wonderful care to my son and helped him recover from two injuries. Can't recommend him enough.

The Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The office is clean and well organized. Dr. Bak's care and follow up instruction were clear and easy to follow. I feel that I got wonderful medical attention and would highly recommend this practice.

I've had an internal stimulator removed today. A MRI is being scheduled to possibly find 22 years of degenerative disc changes first. Brand New technology awaits. I have been a competitive athlete for 50+ years. I had sought treatment for injuries from other doctors; those doctors were both arrogant & dismissive. I sought treatment for biceps tendonitis and a frozen shoulder from Dr. Bak. Dr. Bak IS different. He listens! He is kind & supportive, no matter one's age or gender. What can you say about a surgeon who performs miracles. I am only a few weeks post op and can't believe the range of motion I already have after my reverse shoulder replacement. I have had no pain that a few Tylenol does not take care of. It is a seven hour round trip from where I live to see him but it is worth every mile.
