Dr. Varma was detailed in explaining, took time to answer questions, treatment plan was clear and detailed to me. She was always available when we needed help. Staff is friendly and nice.

WORST OFFICE EVER! My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer this past September. We chose this office due to all the positive reviews. Wow are these wrong!!! From her first visit to her taking her last breath a few days ago this office has been a total nightmare! We waited weeks for her first appointment. We show up that morning to a closed office. They screwed up the schedule. Then proceeded to wait until the office opened for an hour and a half. Then waited for the doctor to show. Figured we’d stick with them mistakes happen. It only got worse. Waiting for authorizations that weren’t needed. Waiting for appointments to be approved by the office manager for follow up visits. Phone calls and doctor messages consistently ignored. Finally received a doctor response after I told the patient advocate at the hospital which they are affiliated with that I had left messages with her Emergency Service numerous times as well as office staff concerning her condition and hospitalization. Continued to be ignored up until her passing. If you truly care for your loved one and expect the best of care for them then I highly recommend you find another office sooner than later.

Dr varma has no respect nor compassion for her patients. While attempting to have a consensus discussion between a mother and son based on the life of the father. She constantly interrupted and pushed for a decision she wanted rather than give 1 minute of decency to at least talk about a human life. Absolutely disgusting and despicable behavior. Only took a moment of silence to be a decent human being and she could not do that. Horrified for anyone who puts their life in her hands

Explained thoroughly, took very good care of details and excellent knowledge and bedside manners . Office staff was very helpful.

About the previous comment-"Dr. Varma -Anonymous in Old Bridge, NJ | 07/15/2016" It is the law that results cannot be given out to anyone in patient's absence and without patient's consent. Being persistent and demanding about it will not make staff diverge from the law.

Dr Varma is rude and unprofessional. My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer. We had a scheduled appointment at 2:30 pm. My husband was not feeling well for initial consultation and air quality outside was poor and he was unable to attend. The doctor made me wait over 1 1/2 hours in her office and then told her staff she refused to see me or answer my questions about his treatment based on biopsy results. Just had her staff hand me a prescription told me to get a Pet Scan and come back in week
