I learned about Dr. Berkstein from a neighborhood app called “Next Door” a while ago when I posted a question wondering if my neighbors can refer me to a good DDS for implants. It took me a while to make a decision to choose Dr. Berkstein over the rest of other names and this was a very good decision since he is everything I looked for in a dentist. He was very kind, professional and I am sure highly experienced with office near Sharp hospital with a very tasteful environment. His staff were incredibly cheerful and professional to make me feel welcomed. I highly recommend this amazing DDS with your gum surgeries and implant needs. Last thing I want to say is his pricing that is highly comparable and perhaps even better than many other places. I know this as a matter of the fact due to prior experience. Terrible.

Massive communications failure when I confirmed I would be traveling from out of country for an appointment in San Diego. After self quarantine for 2 weeks I was told the day of the appointment they wouldn't see me. No now I have a post and no tooth looking for a dentist that can finally fix my half way completed implant... November 9, 2020 follow up, still can't get my tooth replaced, nightmare dentist situation... never pay them a dime until you GET THE WORK DONE! Excellent care, great staff! Lovely office!

I called the office after my general dentist referred me for a painful gum abscess. They had nothing available for a few weeks but once I explained the situation — severe pain and swelling — they fit me in the same day. The staff were all very pleasant and Dr Berkstein clearly explained to me the problem, and treatment. Once again the staff fit me in for the following week to have the stitches removed because I was not available at the time they initially proposed.

Best periodontal office ever! Super nice staff and excellent doctor

I went in for a long overdue cleaning. The wait wasn’t long at all and the staff were very nice. No one was condescending when I asked hygiene questions and they sent me on my way with a goodie bag after the appointment was over.
