Moved to the area recently and both my wife and I saw Dr. Cohen. Routine skin cancer screening for me, advanced scalp psoriasis for my wife. Beautiful office setting, extremely comfortable office, wonderful and efficient office staff, medical assistant was great and most importantly we were both extremely impressed with Dr. Cohen. Most thorough and best explained screening I ever had, highlighted some athletes foot which I was not aware of and emphasized the importance of treating it early. My wife was overjoyed by the aggressive treatment plan he initiated for her scalp psoriasis. We highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen and the team at Hendersonville Dermatology made me feel very welcome. Dr. Cohen spent an inordinate amount of time for my initial visit to understand my background and what led me to visit. The care provided was top notch and came with a "plain-talked" explanation of treatment applied. I would recommend this practice!

When trying to make an appointment as a returning "patron" I was told by office staff that a credit card was required to secure a $75 cancellation fee. I asked that this be negotiable as I am not comfortable with this form of revenue generator. She referred to the office policy and when asked to discuss it with Dr Cohen she refused. In the past I was very satisfied with the care of Dr Cohen and office personnel. I have recently referred my wife and her good friend who are satisfied with the care and coincidentally, neither was subject to a credit card cancellation policy fee. I prefer to be respected as I respect my clients. Disappointed and moving on.

I really enjoy working with Dr. Cohen. Not only do we have a fun interaction, but he always takes care of all that needs to be done and that gives me a sense of security.

The examination appeared thorough. The findings were explained both clearly and succinctly. The physician had written support materials to help their patients. Independent of that, it was my opinion that the people in the office as well as his assistant were a cut-above those typically encountered in healthcare.

Dr. Cohen and his staff are excellent. The staff are efficient and friendly. This was my first visit and I was seen for a consult. Dr Cohen spent over 30 minutes with me talking about my history, concerns and future goals. I didn't feel rushed and left feeling confident about care options. I chose this practice after having been to a different dermatology office in the area that was okay, but not great. Based on Henderson Dermatology's excellent reviews I thought it was worth a try. I was not disappointed. Great staff and environment.

I Was a Little leary first time visit. I was greeted by a receptionest who was very professional, she had me do my paperwork and after I turned it in she said Please be seated, it will be a short wait. I noticed the reception room was spotless and you could only sit in every other chair, which I liked because of Covid. I was called 5 minutes later, a nurse checked me in, nice and professional. She said Dr. Cohen will be in shortly, which he was. Made me feel like I knew him for years, kind, gentle and knowledgeable. He answered everything I asked about and then some. Upon Leaving I will say that everyone there had on a Mask and never once removed it. I will always return to see Dr. Cohen and recommend him to all family and friends.

First time patient. I was most impressed with Dr. Cohen's informative and professional manner, yet friendly. Overall quite impressed his thoroughness was and pleased with the outcome of the visit.

A wonderful practice from the warm receptionists and nurses to Dr. Cohen's professionalism. He was punctual and is always a very good listener to my concerns. He offers solutions that will not be overly expensive or invasive. Plus his sense of humor is terrific. He is one of my favorite doctors!

Upon arriving at their office during this pandemic, I was impressed with the parking lot signage that provided directions to call and remain in your vehicle until someone would come and get you. This took less than 5 minutes. I was then placed in an examination room where it took less than 5 minutes for Dr. Cohen to arrive. Throughout the appointment I was treated respectfully. The staff and Dr. Cohen were friendly yet very professional. What is not to like about that? A 5 Star visit

Yesterday I had a regularly scheduled appointment. It was the first time I visited since COVID precautions became necessary. Often times small practices like this aren’t taken serious, and have a smaller, niche’ client base. So know they’re going to do whatever possible to move money from your pocket to theirs. Unfortunately I won’t be a patient here anymore despite the wonderful care of Dr. Cohen, because of a few members of the front office staff, namely Samantha. I reached out with a perfectly honest, logical, and concise reason as to how the miscommunication happened, and though it was clearly scheduling’s fault, I was kind. She was not, her money driven response was to seek out a loop hole, and given the advantage of already haven taken my money insisted on being unprofessional and aggressive. This is not good patient care! If I were wrong, I’d have not liked it, but I’d at least understand the $75 charge. But to wrongfully get charged, and then get disrespected is more “patient care” than I’m willing to take. Thanks for all of your help Dr. Cohen, you’re a genuinely good and compassionate doctor,

Dr. Cohen is great! Professional, kind and caring. I had some laser work done to remove broken capillaries and brown spots. He is wonderful and I recommend him all the time.
