I love Dr Hess, I had to have cortizone shots and he made it a very pleasant experience. I was so nervous and didnt know what to expect. I went to have one knee done , he was so gentle i ended up having both done... believe it or not , not much pain and instant relief. Thank you Dr Hess

Broke my hip two years ago and Dr Hess rebuilt it and it’s doing great! Great Surgeon, friendly and caring! Thank you ????

Dr Hess was knowledgeable, giving practical advice on the options currently available. He was very personable and gave the most painless shot in my knee I have ever had.

Dr. Hess and his staff have been great. He quickly agreed to my hip replacement after over 50 years of dealing with hip dysplasia and correcting my leg length discrepancy. My progress is going well and I continue to work with him on my recovery. All the staff at Hope are friendly and considerate. I am lucky to have found them after years of trying to get someone to help me.

I like Dr. Hess. He answered all of my questions and was very informative. And professional.

Dr. Hess performed a total knee replacement on my right knee. He did a great job and now unfortunately I need my left knee fixed. Trusting Dr. Hess to fix this knee so I can finally get on with my retirement and life. Awesome doctor and staff.

Met Doc Hess a couple years ago Re: my knees, we discussed options & did a serious of 3 injections, twice, about 6 months apart. When I had my last shot of my second series of shots, I had a small adverse reaction in my left knee. Nonetheless I am scared to have shots again. So I came in for an evaluation to have my knee joints replaced!! I had no idea how advanced this procedure has become! It’s going to be work, I’m both scared & excited but up for the challenge! I feel way more reassured that this is the right option at this time! My goal is to have both knees done before the end of this year! Dr. Hess perfectly performed injections to my knees for the second time! I’ve had them from others and he makes sure they are precise-and does so with an awesome smile (you can tell through the mask. You hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes!) Dr. Hess’ medical assistant was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The Keizer front office staff was exceptionally professional yet very friendly in the process of performing their duties. Dr. Hess is wonderful! I love his bedside manner and his personality! He is a fantastic doctor. I haven't had surgery yet with my knee. But the visits with Dr. Hess the couple of times I saw him were great. I like him as a doctor and a person.

Dr Hess has been great. I have seen him a couple times and my Mom has seen him many times. We will continue to use him and Hope for as long as we have knee problems. Thanks Dr Hess

I love Dr. Hess! I just had a complete right knee replacement 10/2020 and now have to have a total right hip replacement and I wouldn't trust anyone else. He is great and I love that he uses the Mako Robotic Arm for my surgeries.

Everyone is on spot and so helpful. The doctor was great and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Hess is so easy to talk to and answered my questions and concerns.

This guy is not only a great surgeon (basically saved my leg. More later. ) but also a great guy that real does care about his patient's well being. I had a total knee replacement at the end of June 2020. I ended up with a pretty bad surgical site infection (yes, I was the statistic. Lol). This led to 3 more surgeries to clean and disinfect, install a temp joint (spacer), and finally install a permanent replacement. I had challenges in fighting the infection (guess I ended up being a case study). Dr. Hess was a rock (with a sense of hubris and humor) through it all. The final revision surgery could have meant serious plastic surgery given the condition of my leg after all the trauma drama. Dr. Hess ruled the day and saved me not only additional procedures but also a long recovery. I'm very grateful for his cheerful and positive perspective and professional expertise. Even more, through 5 months of working with him on my case I'm eternally grateful for his actual and very real caring attitude. This guy is not only a great surgeon (basically saved my leg. Dr. Hess has the friendliest personality! Made me feel super at ease. He gave the best steroid shot in my knee that I have ever had. Very little pain. I am going to put all my trust in him next year when I have a total knee replacement. HIGHLY recommend him!!!

I was treated so well by all the staff at Hope. Dr. Hess was the best! Dr. Hess is amazing. I love his bedside manner. He has a way of putting you at ease even when you're talking joint replacement. He listened to my concerns about my hip and we had a frank discussion about what needs to be done. Highly, highly recommend him and Hope!
