Took the time to take care of my urgent need with compassion. She is a great educator, wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Perkins arrived in a fairly timely manner, however, seemed unconcerned with my presenting problem and spent less than 5 minutes with me.

My husband visited the doctor for help with toenail issues. She was rude and condescending. Someone needs to help her fine tune her people skills. Never returning.

Dr Perkins was exceedingly good. I am very grateful to her

She was on time, was friendly and efficient and explained things. I would use her as my podiatrist gladly. Have already recommended her to friends of mine.

Dr. Perkins is an excellent communicator and quickly identified several new medical issues for me. This was a relief, as I knew something was wrong but hadn't known what.

Dr. Perkins is wonderful. She has a great, casual bedside manner combined with a wide array of knowledge. I appreciated that she offered a thorough explanation of the mechanics of what was going wrong, suggested a few options for treatment, and patiently answered my questions.

Great listener, very knowledgeable, kind, offered an honest opinion on my condition then offered options on treatment that were simple & inexpensive. Highly recommend her.

Dr Perkins (& her med tech) were both wonderful. She is knowledgeable and was very nice during my visit. She explained different options to me and made it clear that it was my choice which one to pursue, then made sure to explain the prescriptions, lab work, surgery scheduling and follow up plan before I left her office.

One of the worst medical providers I’ve ever seen. Arrogant and rude and criticized me when I tried to ask questions or clarify my history. I hesitated to write this, but I feel something has to be said.

Dr. Perkins and her staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Very good experience.

Dr. Perkins is truly excellent, both from a strict medical standpoint (that's been my personal experience and is also the view of my orthopedic surgeon) and from a human standpoint. I have high confidence in her ability to get it right and to listen and explain things in a very clear and thoughtful way.

I would never go to anyone else. She works as a team with her assistant, Amy, who shares the same work ethic and commitment. Dr. Perkins takes her job very seriously. She is committed to following her patients' wishes and never pushing unnecessary procedures. She is a perfectionist, which might push her patients outside their comfort zone, so, if you are looking for a doctor that will only tell you what you want to hear, she's probably not the right choice for you. My experience with Dr. Perkins has been excellent. She's clearly very good from a medical standpoint (and my orthopedic surgeon, who recommended her for a difficult foot problem, feels she's flat-out the best podiatrist in the valley), discusses things openly and honestly, and is very clear in explaining things. She's intense, and it looks like some people here have difficulty with that. It might be that she's not the best personality match for everyone. But, having had a bad experience with another local podiatrist and having sustained lasting damage from that, I really trust her and read that intensity as a sign of her intelligence and the energy she puts into her job. I recommend her without hesitation.

Dr Perkins had the worst bedside manner I have ever seen, and I am not young. She actually told me not to talk! Didn’t watch me walk or check my arches.

I wish I could give her 0 stars. She was rude and asked me not to talk. A waste of a $30 co pay. Didn't watch me walk or even ask me to stand.

My mother had surgery scheduled to get her bunion removed with Dr. Perkins. Dr. Perkins did not perform the surgery because she realized the equipment was contaminated. My mother was put to sleep and woke up frantic. No one was able to help her understand the situation. While I understand the safety precautions, they failed to inform our family that the surgery did not take place. They rescheduled my mother a week into her scheduled sick leave. My sister called to see if they could move the appointment up, but they told her there were no openings before the new surgery date. I followed up to see if I can get a referral to get her an appointment sooner, closer to where I live. Her staff was cold, defensive, and frustrated about the complaints and were uninterested in hearing how this was going to impact my mother’s recovery and work situation. They insisted that she would not be able to find anything before this date, only to cancel a couple days before her new surgery date.

I felt like Dr. Perkins was uninterested in answering any questions, like my appointment as an something to be got through. I did ask anything it was as if I was creating a problem. It just felt unfriendly and it made it very hard to get the information I needed. Since this appointment was out of network to me it was like I wasted $100.

If you want to be talked AT go to Dr Perkins. I do not recommend her at all. Answered a question I never asked. Did not help. In her own space not able to listen or relate.

Didn’t spend any time actually examining me before trying to prescribe orthotics. I didnt feel like I was getting real medical care and advice - more as if I was an inconvenience and a possible sucker that may buy their product - their orthotics. I left this appointment with the same questions I had going in and didn’t feel like I made any progress in addressing my issue whatsoever. I will not go here again.

Dr. Perkins is knowledgeable, yet her bedside manner needs a lot of work. She spoke "at" me. She is what I might term a "refrigerator doctor." Cold, uninterested, visibly uninvolved, professorial. No warmth, no connection to patient. It may have been what I expect (and not others), so I do not want to say, do not go. But she needs to work on her manner. This is obviously a young woman who has worked hard to get where she is (she knows her stuff). But the manner needs work.

Went to see Dr. Perkins because of bunion. She took some x-rays but didn't examine my foot (even though the last time I saw her was over a year ago). She suggested orthotics and surgery. I wasn't feeling totally comfortable so I pursued a 2nd opinion from an orthopedic surgeon. I was surprised to find that he didn't agree with her on some key areas. Turns out that I DON'T have flat feet, orthotics wouldn't be beneficial and I'm not ready for surgery. Bottom line - ALWAYS get a second opinion.

Bad practice, unprofessional doctor. Officious, unethical, interested in selling their own products, not prescribing things that work. Did not examine my foot, looked at it from several feet away. Their non-prescription med did not work at all. I will never see them again and never recommend them.

Dr. Perkins is wonderful! Had professionalism not been an issue, I would've hugged her after my procedure. She addressed an ingrown toenail for me. I've been through the procedure twice before and was nervous about the pain I anticipated. She took time to ask me what would make me feel more comfortable during the procedure. She tilted the chair back so I couldn't see what she was doing and, on my request, made small talk with me the whole time so I couldn't focus on what she was doing to my foot

She ruined my foot! Poured too much medicine on my wound which burnt and blistered the surrounding skin! Haven't been able to walk or do daily activities properly. Can't wear footwear without pain. The cream she prescribed for her mistake (that I had to pay for!?) doesn't even work. It's been seven weeks and skin is still blistering!

A friendly, knowledgeable, experienced surgeon. Have already recommended her to others!

I visited Dr Perkins because of chronic pain in each of my feet. She examined me thoroughly, studied my X-rays, and diagnosed my problems. She was very informative. She came up with a treatment plan which included specific stretching exercises, icing and wearing shoe inserts. She was also able to recommend a running shoe that would provide me better support. She seemed unhurried and took the time to answer all of my questions.

Dr. Perkins believes in giving patients information . . . a lot of information! She informed me how the structure of my feet were contributing to the problem I have been having, and gave me several different ways (stretches, shoe inserts, icing) to both deal with the pain and give me a way to heal. I feel empowered to take charge of the healing process because of the informative, healing care that Dr. Perkins provided. (Shout out to the amazing nursing staff too!)

I've been treated by Dr.Perkins for two different ailments. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I would recommend her.

Wonderful. She knows what she's doing, answered all my questions (and there were many) and diagnosed my problem. I felt that she was going out of her way to help me.

She was rude, authoritarian, and offensive. I left the office feeling like I had been treated terribly as a person and as a patient totally unacceptably.
