Never calls back. Cancels appts and then if you cancel ahead and ask to reschedule they give you an appt after you run out of meds 2 months later.

If I could rate him a zero, I would. He tried to switch my medications without informing me of the effects it could have on my body. Honestly the only thing he has helped me with is my schizophrenia..but he is isn't responseable for getting me my meds

I had three appointments canceled by this Dr, after that, I gave up. Based on the poor reviews, it looks like I made the right decision.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. On top of never being friendly or making someone new feel welcome, they will never answer the phone and no call backs when you leave a message.

I have some medical issues that are from steroids as a child w Asthma and runs into others quite controlled. My mother went to Dr. Bhatt and loved him. If you have a genetic disposition, it is always good to see the same person. Some patients on this site do NOT realize the overwhelming demand by increased traumatic issues happening everywhere and he runs the department @ Aultman. I can not imagine HIS stress. If YOU need extra help or time, he would try to comply, of course running all other time slots late.Therefore, if you know in advance that you will need extra time, schedule it. I personally am glad to see my friend WHEN he can! Consider yourself fortunate. (N). Is your job easy? If no job, volunteer::::it works wonders. He is kind, patient, a good listener. He goes far and beyond to treat you. He keeps trying until you are well.

If you are looking for professionalism, look elsewhere. This "doctor" will leave you hanging for your prescription for days at a time, with no explanation and no apology. I have no idea who would have granted this "doctor" a medical license. I have no doubt he paid for his license. After going through painful withdrawals without my medications, on multiple occasions, they refused to take my phone calls, stating they were "slammed" and too busy to refill my scrips. I even had to call on my friend's cell phone so they would answer my calls. Once on the phone, the receptionist gave more excuses why the doctor was not available to speak with me. They stated that they would need his approval to refill my scrips. When asked when he would be approving the request, they stated he was out for the day and they would send an electronic message to him. Of course, there was no way for me to verify if he ever even received the request, because my prescription was never sent to the pharmacy.

Would not recommend. Didn't listen to anything I said and really did not take me seriously.

HORRIBLE!!! They do not refill scripts, answer the phone, return calls, call in medications correctly or turn off the answering service when they are supposed to.

I'm caregiving to my Mom. I have been really stressed out. Dr. Bhatt is helping me become the woman that I can be without so much stress. He listens to me and cares about helping me. I feel comfortable talking to him and he gives me the support I need. I am glad I have Dr. S. Bhatt.He knows what to do for me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bhatt's in the past. He gave me prescriptions for meds that lower the threshold for seizures. I took an over the counter medicine with the prescribed drugs and had a grand mal seizure. He charges $25 for every set of paperwork he fills out--even if it is to just sign his name. I've never had any other psychiatrist do that. I would not recommend him.

The office never answers the phone. When you leave a message they don’t return your call. Very opinionated to the point of not listening or make you feel free too express yourself. A big fan of shock therapy.

I have been seeing Dr. Bhatt for over 8 months and I have always had a difficult time scheduling an appointment or getting a refill. Recently, it has been AWFUL. I have called at least 20 times in the past two weeks and have not had ONE return call. I have great insurance and have paid all of my bills. Awful, awful customer service. Would not recommend.

Dr. Bhatt has helped me be able to move on. I feel he's caring he has his own way about himself that might come off as not caring but he just goes right to the point.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!! There have been several times I have needed refills on my medication and he is either on vacation or does not call them in for days. Ever time I see him he asks the same question, how's everything going, how's work and here's your prescriptions. Maybe 5 minutes of his time. The. He decides since I wrote a complaint about him he's going to dismiss me from his practice. So he pretty much is abandoning me. He did not give me a referral or ample time.

This doctor has left me without medication several times(which I've been on for 20 years). Every time I am told "sorry he hasn't checked his messages yet". What doctor doesn't check his messages on a Monday, then neglects to check them the following day as well? He has also told me to just go to the ER if I'm out of my medication. So you want me to pay an ER bill because you're too lazy to check your messages?? Man is a joke and I plan on turning him in to the board of medicine this time around! Had 4 people tell me not to go to this doctor, I did anyway, and now regret it. He asked me why I didn't show up for an appointment, and I said "why did you show up for work" his own receptionist called me to tell me he was running late. His OWN patients in the waiting room talk how this man is always running late. Very unprofessional if you ask me. I would recommend trying to find a different doctor before you EVER go to this man. I was recommended to see Dr. Bhatt from my primary care physician. I have major depression, anxiety and PTSD. My first visit with him, he comes across very cold. He didn't shake my hand and introduce himself. He is very standoffish. Always looking down at his desk, doesn't make eye contact. And not one time did he smile. It was a total waste of my time. My time is just as important as his.

Worst experience, waited an hour past my scheduled appointment time and spoke to him for 20 minutes. He was dismissive , rude, didn't shake my hand, and did not look up from his papers more then twice. I received the same advice for sleeping troubles as I get from Google. I have had extreme trouble sleeping with racing thoughts since I was a kid I am 26 now. His only advice was focus on more relaxing things at night and change your mind set. I am irritated that I wasted time and money on him.

I love Dr. Bhatt....I have and have some very tough situations in life...my job, depression..major anxiety and the suicide of my brother..He has been by my side helping me with everything. Listens and cares greatly.

Without a doubt, the worst experience ever with a doctor. I had to wait a long time to see him. I was supposed to have a half hour appointment and was there all of 15 minutes. He was not friendly, has no manners. Talked to me like I was a child and made assumptions that were false. This was my first and last visit. Came away feeling worse than before. Please do not waste your time or money on him.

Very pushy and rude. Went to him for the first time today and as soon as I entered his office where we talked I felt uncomfortable and like he wasn't going to be much help, which he wasn't. He wanted to set up another appointment after telling me he couldn't help me, but I think I'll find somewhere else to go. Not very professional or personable. Once he got me in his office it's like it was a race to get me out. He didn't spend but maybe 10 minutes with each patient before me (5) Hour wait.

Dr. Bhatt is my God, and I tell him that all the time. I have been going to him for about 20 years now. Through medication and the ECT treatments he has my major depression under control. He has taught me various coping techniques so that I do not any longer have to put up with the crap that people have put me through. And the major one is to surround myself with people who build me up and do not tear me down. I am a result of being bulliied my entire lifetime.
