I have to say my experience with Dr. Ammus and his staff was a great one. Considering it was my very first visit ever with a hematologist specialist and in the middle of a pandemic he and his staff are so welcoming and nice. I also had reached out for clarification on results through the app and the doctor personally called me back soon after. Just great care overall! This physician and his staff are the best. We went to see him for a second opinion as my mother has been with Thrombocytosis for years now. To start with, Dr. A took his time to go over my mother’s past and current medical history, shared his knowledge and instead of adding a mandatory treatment because he said so, gave us a great explanation of why, a plan on how to check for possible side effects and the reassurance that he was going to be there every step of the way.. which by the way he has done . 100% recommend! I don’t have no words to describe that human being Sharhabi S Ammus who happens to be an hematologist/oncologist at the University of Miami. He is an humble, kind, nice, caring, helping, very knowledgeable, patient, a very good listener, talk for you to completely understand, never in a hurry with his patient and a lot more.... For sure you will recommend this Dr to my family and my friends

I met Dr. Ammus when he diagnosed a DVT in my leg. I found him to be thoughtful, thorough and extremely friendly. When I emailed him about a problem with my insurance Co's. authorization for the medicine he prescribed, he got back to me within an hour with instructions about how to proceed. I followed those instructions, and everything was rapidly resolved. It is hard to find doctors with such high competence and excellent patient response. I can't recommend him highly enough.
