DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS OFFICE. They are uncaring about their patients, from staff to doctor. Zero empathy/sympathy for any kind of situation their patients are in.

My visit was awful, Dr. Ghori didn’t seem to be listening to anything I said. Diagnosed me with migraines after having an MRI. I needed a second opinion as I’ve had migraines for 40 years, had an MRA followed by a CT Angiogram with contrast - my diagnosis is intracranial aneurysm!! I would not recommend Dr. Ghori to anyone! He’s rude, arrogant and obviously could care less about his patients. Also told me I was having rebound headaches from Goody powders!

I personally have been a patient of Doctor Ghori's for over 20 years now and I credit him with keeping me alive and as healthy as possible. He is a smart man and cares about making sure his patients are correctly diagnosed and the medical condition treated. This is what I want in a physician.

I wouldn't recommend this guy. Prolly why he has such a poor rating my wife had a appointment to see him about a very serious matter and his people skills went right out the door my wife left in tears. I'm not a doctor but I don't appreciate that!

Dr. Ghori probably does not know about how unprofessional his employees are, especially at the front desk. When we walked in they kept up their chatter among each other and paid us no mind. They acted as though they wish we had not come in. When we call the office, they do not return our calls and it seems they don’t even give Dr. Ghori the messages. Even my nurse practitioner here in town has tried to call and they leave messages, and they don’t respond to them. This is very unprofessional.

I use to see Dr Sher Gorhi and no longer do I was blamed for seeing another dr witch I don’t , him nor his staff has no manners at all and acts like they could care less I don’t recommend them at all

This was the first time I was sent to see him by south east medical in dothan.i assumed I was seeing a doctor from the hospital that knew about my condition.but I have never seen him before.he knew nothing about my case or what I had been through other doctors in sacred Heart in Pensacola and dothan said I had tia mini strokes and a blood clot.This Doctor told me I didn't have any and it was a mental problem.i left went to another doctor that assured me I was not crazy but did have a blood clot and damage from the strokes I had. My father in law was recently referred here by his primary physician. As soon as we entered the room, it was very awkward from the beginning. The nurse immediately gave the idea that he needs to go see "pain management" without Dr. Ghori coming into the room. When he did, he was very rude from the start. He asked as soon as he walked in "What are you here for, and who sent you here?". Like maybe you should read the paperwork that was filled out and you would know? My FIL is sore all over most days, and while Dr. Ghori was assessing him, he grabbed his hand, not softly, and you could see the pain all over my FIL's face. He then got very frustrated and starting speaking very loudly because my FIL could not hear him. My FIL also has a brain tumor, which came about years prior, we were just letting him know that it was there and Dr. Ghori said that he's a neurologist and doesn't deal with lyphoma. Um what? He then proceeded to say he could have fibromyalgia. After being in there for a total of about 2 hours (it took him an hour to get into the room, and basically he spent the other one just typing on his computer) he came to the conclusion to up his pain meds and rub over the counter cream to soothe the pain. I could've figured that out myself by just googling it. He wanted to run tests on him, and considering he had to ask us if his kidneys needed dialysis to do such tests, it's probably best that he didn't. We will be finding a new neurologist, so if you want to save your time and breath, I do not recommend coming here. I have never seen that rude of a doctor in my entire life. I have been seeing Dr. Sher Ghor for at least 5 years and he has never been anything but nice and thorough with me. He does not rush me but spends time talking to me and assessing my health. I would and do recommend him to any one who has a neurological health problem.

I absolutely love Dr Ghori. He's very thorough and goes above and beyond to help you feel better. I'm so glad I came to him. He and his staff Mrs Misty and Mrs Shannon have went above the call of duty to help me get my medicine and explain what was going on with me so I don't leave wondering what they were talking about. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of me.

This man doesn't deserve that honor if there was another option I would choose them. Should be sued for malpractice, but I guess he is still better then spectra care.

Will not contact family and will not respond to nursing staff phone calls. Worst doctor in dothan alabama. If you have a choice of neuro docs, do not choose him

I've been to many neurologists and this was my last hope. What a waste of time. Among my pain and many symptoms, I brought up severe memory loss and my mom mentioned how bad it was for my age (32) He raised his voice at her saying IIt wasn't true memory loss because I was too young. Said it was ADHD . Go get tested. He looked at my list of tried medications and said I've tried everything and there's nothing he can do. After fighting with him I finally got him to order the MRI and try a preventative and a new abortive. SeemedSeemed to want to do anything to dismiss me. I'm getting my MRI and taking my meds but if the test comes back normal I will not return to him. Also , the stench of body odor was so unbearable we had to cover our noses. Absolutely disgusting. He is not our usual neurologist. We usually see Dr Malik. But got stuck with this guy because we had to come to Flowers Hospital. Anyway. He has basically held us hostage. We keep being told he is the only dr that has not signed her release. Nurses tell me they’ve left messages & called. Then I go downstairs after we are 4 days into this & I see him. So I rush back to my moms room hoping I haven’t missed him. Nurses tell me they haven’t seen him. So I was relieved that I had missed him. However, he was here & didn’t bother to come by the 3rd floor & sign her release. Other doctors signed her release 3 days ago. We are on day 5 now & if we don’t see him today, we are just leaving. Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews. The staff is exceptional and always go above and beyond. Dr. Ghori is very skilled and super caring. He’s a great neurologist.

I saw so many bad reviews about this Neuro Dr. Which frankly scared me about going when I was regerred to him. I must say I even voice my concerns to his staff and to Dr. Ghori himself after seeing him. I have to tell you the reviews I found to be so wrong. There was nothing about him that was rude, or made me feel like he didn't care about his patient's care. He surely showed concern about my issues even ones that wasn't his field of care and he referred me to specialist for those issues. I would recommend him to others for sure. Dr. Ghori truely listens to your concerns and what you have to say. If he isn't facing you as you talk its because he is facing the computer taking notes about what you are telling him. I have been seeing Dr Ghori for 11 years. I have very complicated headaches that we've not been able to get under control. Dr Ghori has done everything he can to help me, even sent me to Mayo and Emory (they couldnt even offer anything that he hasn't tried). He does get aggravated at times but I think that's due to wanting to help me when he has limited options left that we havent tried. He doesn't like for his patients to suffer. The times I've been hospitalized, the hospitalist cant get my headache or vomiting under control, they always have to call in Dr Ghori before I can ever get any relief. I appreciate him always working me in and being ready to try to help me when I need him! He really seems to care about him patients! I have been seeing Dr Ghori for 11 years. One star because the won’t let you give negative numbers. Couldn’t visit because of covid-19 but received a phone call about my dads diagnosis. He was rude, gave vague responses to specific questions and was uncooperative when challenged about the fact he had not performed the right tests to achieve a proper diagnosis. My advice : do your homework and don’t take him at his word for anything!

Dr Ghori was amazing. He knows what is talking about. I have recommended family and friends to him.

I would give 0 stars if I could, maybe he need to retire because he don't have enough respect to be around sick people and probably people in general. That's my nice version of what I think of him

Sher M. Ghori , MD is rude and very arrogant. My grandparents are 88year old and he was very condescending to them. Do not use.

QUACK!!! Do not use this man! I had 2 MRI with very concerning results. The QUACK dr said my migraines came from an abusive childhood NOT, and the cyst found has been there since I was born. REALLY a 43 year old CYST?????

My first appointment is tomorrow and with reading these reviews, I'm not sure these reviews about this Doctor or staff is a good call. But Neurologists are few and far between in this area. There's no reason for Doctors to be arrogant or rude to a patient. Patients are the reason for you to have a practice. Is being rude and arrogant a course you took in medical school? As for the rudeness of the staff. It shouldn't matter if the office is big or small. There's no excuse for being rude to the patients who contribute to your paycheck. If you can't provide good customer service, then find another line of work. I will post my experience after my appointment tomorrow. Great Staff, easy to get an appointment Dr. Ghori is very thorough and caring.

It was amazing everyone was great no wait time at all in a few minutes i was diagnosed and finished with my appt .Very happy with the doctor and staff

Dr. Ghori looked at his computer the entire time. Gave two prescriptions but never sent the prior authorization need to get them filled. Very rude. Never answered questions. Office staff very nice . Almost like they were trying to make up for his behavior

Dr. Ghori is a great doctor and was very helpful with my grandmothers seizure disorder. He took the time to explain things so that we could understand. Super friendly staff and wait time was around 15 mins.

I now know why he has this rating. I read the reviews and thought we will have a different experience wrong! This was the worst experience I have ever had with any healthcare professional. It is obvious that he doesn't care about his patients. He didn't bother to look at my wife's most recent MRI. He told us that we couldn't afford the medication so there was no use in him giving a diagnoses that we were wasting our time. My only + is that the office staff is friendly. I felt sorry for them.

Dr. Ghori is very rude! He has little to no concern for his patients! He never takes his eyes off of his computer and asks silly and random questions! And, he seemed to be in a rush to get in and out! His staff was awesome, but he leaves a lot to be desired! I don't recommend that anyone use him!

This is the worst doctor I've ever dealt with. Extremely poor bedside manners, he does not listen at all, and completely disregarded what I was telling him that the other doctors at the same hospital had just said that morning. He mentioned 2 issues that my dad was not even suffering from as if he were referring to a different patient. He has real communication issues and I wouldn't trust him to help my dog. Seriously.

After my appointment I left nearly in tears of frustration. He spent the whole time staring at his computer asking me basic questions. When I had questions he waved them off and left the room and said the nurse would be in with my prescription. The prescriptions weren't even explained to me and when I went to pick them up from pharmacy one of them was different from what he mentioned. If he's a specialist, it doesn't show. Called Tricare to switch doctors immediately.

Staff is extremely rude..very unprofessional. Just to make a appointment, I was put on hold by Masie for over 23mins and they never returned. Had to call back and I asked (why so long of a wait?) Her response was I don't know there are two other people in the office here and I was dealing with a patient. STRIKE 2 YOUR OUT! First go round was standing in line "with 4 others behind me" to pay my copay and they were to busy talking about breastfeeding and her child running a fever. And for Dr. Ghori him self, No bedside manners, hardly speaks clear English, and if you really don't have your symptoms on video..he doesn't know what to tell ya. Dr Ghori has absolutely no bedside manner at all. He rarely takes his eyes off his computer while he is speaking at you, I say speaking at you because he doesn't have a conversation with you, he doesn't listen to you, and the worst of all when you ask him questions or heaven forbid you question him he cuts you off and gets down right rude. I would never recommend this Dr to my worst enemy let alone someone I cared about.
