Dr. Shilpa Mahendra Clott

Best obgyn experience . As a older mom I’ve trusted Dr Clott with managing my pregnancy for my both of my children. I highly recommend Dr. Clott for both gynecology and well as obstetrics care. She is highly experienced, takes time to address any of my concerns and her office staff is extremely well organized .

I don’t think I will return as her patient next year. She isn’t terrible, but if someone is going in between your private parts you must be comfortable with them. She doesn’t come across as friendly, warm or wanting to make you feel validated, I just felt like I was NEXT in the queue. All the other GYN I’ve been to ALWAYS knocked on the door before entering, she just opened and came in . Very unprofessional.

I called to inquire if Dr Clott is accepting new patients. The conversation went exactly like this Me “Good morning, is Dr Clott accepting new patients?” Receptionist”the Gynecologist?” Me: “yes” Receptionist “what insurance do you have?” Me gave the name of my insurance Receptionist places me on hold and then comes back to inform that they are not taking new patients with that insurance Message: even if you have insurance, it clearly is not good enough for some medical practices, though they accept it.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Clott. She's extremely compassionate, loves what she does, and truly cares about all of her patients. I feel really lucky to have her as my doctor and wouldn't want anyone else to deliver my babies! She's simply awesome. The office is so clean, the staff is super friendly and warm, and every visit is so efficient. For any kind of emergency outside office hours, Dr. Clott has gotten back to me within minutes (once within 30 seconds). Can't really ask for more!

I approached Dr Clott for an issue I had been suffering with for a year. She ran all necessary tests to make sure there was no underlying problem, she then made a diagnosis and prescribed the right medication which in turn resolved my issue. She came across as friendly yet professional and to make me comfortable for a vaginal checkup made me laugh with a dentist analogy and before you knew it I was all comfortable and out of there in no time. Thanks Dr Clott for resolving my medical issue..

Dr Shilpa Clott was recommended by one of my friend so I blindly went there knowing she would be as good as I have heard. But my wife had very unpleasent experience on her very 1st visit. Non of her concerns were addressed and when she when and asked about her medical issues, she was bluntly shut down. When the doctor was about to perform vaginal checkup my wife was little uncomfortable, Dr. Shilpa rudely said "You cant cover your mouth and still get work done at dentist, can you??" Neveragain

What a horrible experience..... After waiting nearly one hour and attempting to have an informative discussion when Dr. Clott decided to show up, I chose to leave the exam room before any procedures could be performed. This doctor is extremely condescending and should be ashamed of her bedside manner (in my case, lack thereof). I chose this doctor due to the reviews online but should have taken a closer look to see all of the instances where people have commented about her demeaning behavior.

I would not recommend this doctor. Yes, routine visits were fine. But, when I had a real issue, it slipped Dr. Clott's mind to present the results of a test - that caused me to be in discomfort for additional 2 months. This is irresponsible as a doctor & I have stopped going to her since. Also, she suggested the Gardasil shot, when I asked the cost (I know it's not a necessity), she said insurance will cover, it didn't. Now, I'm paying off the full cost when only 1/3 of the full dose was given.

She is so good! POSITIVE INTEND!!! We had a complicated pregnancy. She was with us, all the way through. Very nice doctor. She guided us well and made us make the right decisions! Highly recommend her!

I am beyond impressed with my experience with our OBG want to share lot of good things not sure if I can cover all.Small things like wait time at doctor's office and the attention you need, availability incase if you have questions or concerns.Our Experience at RWJ Somerville hospital was also so nice everyone in the hospital had high regards on the knowledge and the way she handles her case ours was a little complicated case and our baby was in rush to come out but all went fine
