Dr. Patel strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and care. I felt super comfortable as he sat down and discussed my heart health with me. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cardiologist in the Fort Mill area.

I was a patient for a year but then canceled one appointment due to a scheduling con?ict. I was told to call and reschedule when I could, although it slipped my mind to do so for a long time. There was no other reason that I didn't call. I received ZERO follow-up calls or invitations to reschedule until a full year later when I got emails saying "We miss you! Please schedule your next appointment by calling us!". I called immediately to set up an appointment but was told bluntly, "Dr. Patel does not want you as a patient due to your noncompliance." This is unreasonable, unprofessional, and illogical customer service.

Awful. I waited 2 weeks for my appointment that was made in person. I was told 2 days before the appointment that they don’t take new self pay patients (I was told different at the office). No blood pressure medication. They wasted 2 weeks of my time. No care and zero professionalism

my experience with Dr Patel has been to say the lease very in professional. I told him I had lost 30 lbs over a 2month period and had been very sick and got no responce. also, told him on next visit to handle my heart afib he told me to keep going to pineville with no reason.

Great doctor , very thorough , knowledgeable, smart in a lot of things, caring , polite and he is the one that you can trust. Its hard to find a good doctor now a days bec not all doctors are equipt. But he is not only a primary care dr, he is also a cardiologist and an internist.

Very poor bedside manner. Almost threw me out of office, told me I had too many problems and he would only treat me for cardio nothing else. Would not fill my blood pressure meds. Said I had to many problems and took meds I didn’t need even though they were not his specialty. I was there to see him for general medical which ais one of his specialties.

Great service and staff at Patel Medical Clinic. Dr. Patel listened to my concerns and I didn't feel rushed which was a first after seeing many different cardiologists. He was honest and has taken great care of me the past 8 years. I have recommenced my friends and family see him as there is no better service out there.

Clean office, great staff and doctor that has truly cared about me and my health for many years! Been following all protocols needed with COVID and provided virtual visits as well.

Me and my mom went for her health concerns and the nurses and the entire staff were so nice. Then the doctor came in and as we were explain our concerns to him instead of explaining to us or giving us any answers at all he just gave us other comments while laughing and said that my mom has a lot of problems. This doctor has no sense of ethics such as tact, compassion, or any sort of sympathy. If you have real concerns about your health and questions then this doctor is no where’s you would want to go as he doesn’t not give any answers and shrugs off all of your questions. He made my mom feel very unheard and was rude to us, treated us like we were being “too concerned”, do we not have the right to be concerned about our own health as patients? Very rude, doesn’t take your seriously at all, 10/10 NOT RECOMMENDED! If i could give zero ratings I would. If I could give zero stars I would. To threaten my 80 yr old grandmother because she had questions about her health is unprofessional. Anyone who kicks her out for calling you rude and threatens to call the police because your sarcastic attitude was not appreciated.Will not have our business because you truly were rude.

Dr Patel is very thorough and his staff is superb. Highly recommend this office for your medical needs.

Dr. Patel is very thorough and took his time explaining his plan of care for me. All of the ladies in the office are so polite and welcoming. I am so happy I decided to trust my health to Dr. Patel and his team!

Was referred by friends who use him as a regular doctor. Called for an initial appt. was told by a whispering telephone receptionist he doesn't do internal medicine or physicals only cardiologiy.

Dr. Patel is very thorough and and staff is friendly.

I went in as a new patient this week. What a beautiful office - felt like a hotel lobby. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Doctor was attentive kind and caring. This looks like an all-around great practice. My previous doctor's office was just the opposite - run down facility, rude staff, and always-in-a-rush doctor.

Dr. Patel has been my internist and cardiologist for the past 5 years. Best doctor and staff I've have ever known. Easy office to get to right off I77 and Sutton Rd also is a big plus since I hate driving in traffic.

Dr. Patel saved by mother's life by performing a screening CT scan of her lungs and finding a cancer early enough to have life saving surgery. None of her other doctors even suggested getting this test. He took the time to explain the importance of having this test, even though my mother was reluctant initially. THANK YOU DR. PATEL!!

Dr. Patel saw me with little wait time and was very tentative to listening to me talk about my medical issues last week for my appointment. Gave me honest and great feedback and didn’t order any labs or tests that were unnecessary and that’s so appreciated! He cares about me and I look forward to my follow up appointment and seeing how his treatment plan plays out, so far so good!

The staff at Patel Medical Clinic are the best. They are super nice and always eager to help me with my questions. My refills are handled usually the same day which is unheard of. Dr. Patel always gives me the best medical advice and is very well trained. Very excited about finding Patel Medical in Fort Mill.

Wow, just wow! I called for an urgent visit and was seen that day -my previous doctor never had an appointment available. Dr. Patel saw me within 15 minutes of my appointment, treated the problem in another 15, and I was back on the road!

initial appt was handled too quickly for ll disclosure of the reason for my visit to be shared. dr patel jumped to assumptions before the second sentence was completed of the reason for the visit. however, i followed through with the tests because of my insurance to get to the point of confirmation of my heart health. i made sure that i clarified that the assumption was incorrect, but i was disappointed in the approach for a circle of excellence provider.

Great quality service with friendly staff and a beautiful office! Dr. Patel was caring and showed that he truly wants to take care of me and my heart conditions by being honest and not ordering anything unnecessary on me. Will be coming back again

A very special doctor to me. He cares about me and my health. He takes care of my heart and my diabetes.

Dr. Patel is a great doctor. He takes care of my dad and has great bedside manner. We are comfortable knowing our dad is under his care.

I know I am in good hands with Dr. Patel. He takes good care of me and wife. Been seeing him for years and won't go anywhere else.

I used to be a patient at one of the big hospital practices. Never again! My care was so disjointed. They would draw labs and never schedule a follow up appointment to go over my results, take 1 week or longer to refill my prescriptions, take days to get back to my phone calls. I could go on but I won't. Now I have found the perfect practice for me. It's like a concierge practice without the price. Dr. Patel actually knows who I am and is genuinely concerned about my health. Love it!

My grandmother has been a patient of dr. Patel's for many years. When she needed him most he turned his back on her! My grandmother was in need of hospice care, he advised my family that he needed to see her at the hospital. My grandmother is 94 yrs. old and fraile. we had to pay $500 for an ambulance. Because she is totally immobile. when we arrived at the hospital he was a no show. She was seen by an emergency room doctor and no one would sign off on hospice He doesn't care about the elderly

Dr. Patel is the best doctor I have ever known. He is very caring and intelligent, and spends time with his patients. He is meticulous about going over every detail of my health. Patel Medical Clinic is one of the best practices I have been a patient at. The front desk is so friendly and eager to help with any concerns. The staff that takes patients to the exam rooms are very professional and take their time reviewing my meds and taking care of any refills I need. When I had a billing question, I got prompt and accurate assistance from the billing department. Put all this together along with a super knowledgeable and caring physician, and you have a great practice.

I am sick and tired of going into a physician practice with good insurance to be seen only by a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Now we all know that physicians go through vigorous training and have more knowledge than a PA or NP. At Patel Medical Clinic, I get great care since I only see Dr. Patel for all of my visits. He does not employ any PA or NP because he told me he wants to provide only the best care for all of his patients. All practices should follow Dr. Patel's lead!!

Smart doc. Great staff. Beautiful office. Can't get a better medical office.

I have been trying to minimize the number of doctors I have to see. It seems like once I was referred to a specialist, I was encouraged to see those specialists for life. I was seeing over 5 different physicians a year. When I started seeing Dr. Patel, he was able to manage most of my conditions, and given that he practices both Internal Medicine and Cardiology was a big plus as well. Now I only have to see two different doctors a year! And I feel I am getting better care overall.

Dr. Shilpesh Patel is one of the best physicians I have ever come across. I had very difficult to control diabetes and high blood pressure that several other doctors could not control properly. Dr. S Patel had my conditions under excellent control within a matter of 3 months. He explains things very well and truly cares about my well being. He is the “go-to-doctor” in the region for patients with difficult and challenging medical problems.

Dr. S Patel is the smartest physician that I have found. He trained at Johns Hopkins and Harvard and really knows his stuff. He takes time to explain my conditions and never seems in a rush. I feel he has improved my health immensely and gave me more years to live. You can’t ask for more from your doctor.

I am very grateful I was referred to Dr. Patel by a close friend. I have been so pleased with him and that's coming from someone who is always interacting with physicians, specialists, nurses etc because of health issues. I'm glad I finally have a great physician :) And his staff are great also. From the front desk to scheduling, nurses, labs you name it. Everyone is polite & very prfofessional. And maybe I'm partial to him because he was the one that got to the bottom of a medical problem I have been dealing with for months with specialists. Extrememly satisfied! I am very grateful I was referred to Dr. Patel by a close friend.
