One of the very best physicians I've been lucky enough to encounter in my eighty years on this planet.

I was recommended to Dr. Bhatia by a friend and the whole experience was a God-send. I was not getting relief from medication and within 2-weeks after the procedure my relief was noticeable; by Month 2 and 3 I couldn't believe how much easier the whole urination process had become. No waking up in the middle of the night, good stream, empty bladder and very little urgency issues. Shannon, Yanet and the whole team in the hospital were superb. I feel moral obligation to get the word out to anyone that is experiencing urination problems due to BPH. would give 10 stars if I could.

Dr Bhatia is a super competent doc who has helped me tremendously. I experienced a tremendous improvement in my prostate symptoms after the minimally invasive PAE procedure he performed, and I can honestly say it totally improved my quality of life. He is also a very caring physician who explained the procedure well both before and after and was able to put me at ease. The follow-up care from his team was also top notch. I give him 5 Stars and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dr Bhatia is not only highly trained and expert, but also he has a wonderful way of treating patients. His follow-up is amazing. His staff and nurses are equally talented and caring. Doctors of this caliber with an excellent bed-side manner are hard to find. My results were as excellent and as predicted. Dr Bhatia is A+.

From the initial consultation through the procedure and my 4 week follow up, this has been a great experience. I would Highly recommend Dr Bhatia and the PAE procedure. Having suffered with a prostate 5 times the normal range for many years, I finally have relief. Yes the recovery was a bit more difficult for me but after 6 days I felt much better with normal functions returning within a month. I am ecstatic with my results so far and glad I did not consider surgery or hormone therapy. Dr Bhatia's staff is amazing and the quality of care I received unsurpassed any expectations I had.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bhatia for two years. He successfully performed PAE surgery 2/2020 on my prostate and I have been symptom free since that time. His credentials and expertise are well known. But, his personal attention to his patients is what stands out. He invited me to email him directly whenever I had a question or issue. Twice during these two years I wrote to him with what I thought were urgent problems. Once, was on a Sunday afternoon. In both instances he replied within minutes and then added further emails to followup. Recently, he detected in my question that I was anxious about the issue I asked about. He immediately alerted his staff to expedite our previously scheduled appointment to a sooner one to alleviate my stress. Dr. Bhatia and his staff were top-notch. I unexpectedly could not urinate and was catheterized. The prostate artery embolization (PAE) procedure was not planned. Given the urgency of the situation, they quickly scheduled my procedure. I was in and out of the hospital in 4 hours, the recovery time was short and the results have been excellent. I recommend Dr. Bhatia to anyone with enlarged prostate issues seeking relief. Well in advance of the PAE procedure, he provides his patients witha substantial amount of informative articles regarding PAE to reduce anxiety and make the decision making process easier. He also makes himself readily available to answer questions. His staff is excellent and their medical care and treatment is outstanding.

Went to Miami from Atlanta to see Dr. Bhatia for a Prostatic Arterial Embolization for BPH. My Urologist recommended I have a Simple Prostatectomy but I did not want surgery with its risks and complications. I heard about PAE and found Dr. Bhatia, the the most experienced Dr. in the US at this procedure. He is an extraordinary physician; highly skilled, meticulous about his work, humble and kind, and tremendously respectful to his patients. He is patient, explains everything and leaves you feeling like you’re in great hands. And all the members of his team are great too. In an age when so much of medicine is impersonal, Dr. Bhatia and his team are rare jewels. I feel very blessed. Within 2 weeks of my procedure I sleep through the night, after years of waking up 3-4 times to go to the bathroom. He will tell you it’s his honor to care for you, but the truth is I feel honored to have been his patient. I have known great providers but none surpass Dr. Bhatia.

Saw Dr. Bhatia for a prostate artery embolization (PAE) procedure. Had a pre procedure consult where he spent all the time I needed to answer my many questions. Surprisingly, given the size of UM, everything went smoothly before, during and after the procedure. Dr. Bhatia and his staff kept me comfortable and informed throughout the entire procedure ( I was awake) After I got home, I was very uncomfortable and needed some reassurance that what I was experiencing was normal. Over the course of about 5 hours that evening and again the next day Dr Bhatia made himself available via text and cell phone whenever I needed his advice. I'm about 4 weeks out from the procedure and so far it's a total success. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Bhatia to anyone.

My procedure and care was exceptionally I couldn’t be happier with the outcome

I was highly recommended to Dr. Bhatia by my Urologist, a well known specialist in Holep procedures. He told me I was too young to risk the typical and inevitable secondary effects of laser procedures through the urethra (this from a highly regarded specialist in that procedure!). He told me about the PAE procedure for non cancer treatment of enlarged prostate and mostly about Dr. Bhatia great record and experience. So I gave it a shot, read his published articles and analysis results of the PAE procedures. Even though it is a relatively new procedure it seemed logical and appeared way less invasive than the other main stream treatments. I had a good meeting with Dr. Bhatia which convinced me it was the right choice. The procedure went very well, even managed to follow it through the monitor as he explained his progress. Excellent overall process, pre and post procedure, top notch caring staff, and after more than 2 month already made a big difference in my quality of life!

I have no words to explain how my normal life has returned. First of all, God thank you for allowing me to do this Prostate Embolization procedure. Dr. Bathia and his great team are channels of God that help people. Thank you very much for your concern and knowledge to be able to bless. Ms. Arias is also an excellent person. At night I couldn't rest and I got up every hour and a half to urinate. I have now managed to sleep between 4 to 5 hours straight. I could not work or eat many things because the urine was blocked. Now I am working and eating and I do not slow down and I see that I improve every time. I had lost interest in intimate relationships, now I have seen and felt that it has returned incredibly, I am really very grateful and happy.

I am extremely impressed with this doctor and his entire staff. They went above and beyond to insure both physical and mental health as it related to my problem. Dr. Bhatia and his staff communicated fully as to what to expect with my PAE procedure. Dr. Bhatia responds directly and promptly to any inquiries before and after the procedure. Thirty days post procedure and I am very please with the results. Already eliminating and reducing medications. Results will continue to improve as symptoms continue to diminish. I high recommend Dr. Bhatia and his staff.

Did a great job accessing my situation and then making the correct call on the action to take.

I had a prostate artery embolization performed in November, 2020. It is a minimally invasive procedure to redice the size of an enlarged prostate. Dr. Bhatia is a pioneer of this procedure and, in my case, it was remarkably successful. I have never been attended by a more knowledgeable and patient-centered medical group than staff than Dr. Bhatia and his staff at University of Miami health.

Dr. Bhatia performed a PAE on me on 11/2/20 to eliminate prostate area bleeding. The process leading up to the PAE was seamless. I had to fly in to Miami from Atlanta (where I live) the night before the PAE. Dr. Bhatia took the time to explain the PAE in full and then performed the PAE without any problems. Recovery was without incident and lasted only 2-3 days and I then flew back to Atlanta. I highly recommend Dr. Bhatia.

Dr. Bhatia and ALL of his supporting nursing staff at University of Miami are all highly knowledgeable, attentive and caring. My step-father had a successful (PAE) Prostate Arterial Embolization procedure for his urinary retention. The follow-up care really helps to understand the status of his condition. Today I had the follow up appointment for the third year after my PAE procedure with Dr Bathia. Everything looks fine so far, I haven't experienced any problems after the procedure. Dr Bhatia is a fantastic, caring, talented and very accessible physician. He even gives out his cell phone number so if you need him he is there. i consulted Dr. Bhatia for my urinary symptoms that were related to an enlarged prostate. After a comprehensive consultation we decided to go ahead with the minimally invasive procedure called Prostate Artery Embolization. The procedure was painless and after 3 months my symptoms have basically disappeared. Dr. Bhatia is a gifted and highly skillful interventional radiologist and above all a wonderful and caring human being. I highly recommend him and his team

To put it succinctly, my prostate size went from a 89 grams in mid-February 2020, getting up every 1 1/2 hours all night long to a 50 gram prostate, rising twice a night now in mid-May, after a simple procedure that took all of an hour and a half, during which time I was watching what he was doing, and with zero discomfort and absolutely no pain during and afterwards. This would never have happened had I not come down to Florida to live, and I'm surprised every one with an enlarged prostate issue isn't beaten the well worn path to his door. Thank God I'd found him; The TURP Eliminator.

Prostrate Artery Embolization: I was advised of all the problems I could have and told of all the good things that could happen. I had a hard recovery from the procedure, but the final results are terrific. I now sleep through the night, have no trouble dehydrating. My life is so much better. I'm just sorry I didn't know about it sooner.
