Fantastic experience. All staff are incredible Dr Gollogy is a miracle worker.

I was seen promptly, hardly any wait. Dr Gollogly was friendly, concerned, and thorough. He explained my condition clearly, offered follow up, and completely put me at ease. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Dr. Gollogly has been my orthopedic surgeon for about three years. I have seen several orthopedists over the years for lower back treatment and he has been the most knowledgeable, personable and helpful of all. He performed a micro decompression procedure which helped though did not completely relieve lower back problem, due to other factors. He was available for follow/up questions and was patient and thorough with his explanations. There is a more invasive operation that could be performed but I have elected to avoid that and concentrate on core and back strengthening and PT. I have appreciated his direct and sustained guidance in explaining my options. His assistants Tabatha and Jaimie are terrific in fielding additional questions. In all, outstanding patient service by Dr. Gollogly and his assistants who are truly assists to our community!

Professional & timely. Explained X-Ray & treatment plan well.

Dr. Gollogly is always very patient centered--and even gives out his cell phone number to his surgery patients--how many docs do that?

Very professional. I found him also very personable and appreciated his approach that you do everything possible to avoid surgery. Though if I found myself in a position where I needed spinal surgery, I would certainly feel confident to have him perform the surgery.

Excellent care.

Dr. Gollogly is a competant surgeon who has eliminated my back pain. He is caring and helpful. I highly recommend him to anyone having back issues.

The doctor came highly recommended for his knowledge and skills. As he says, " this is what I do." Until you need such a procedure, most of us don't have enough knowledge to even ask the questions. Excellent spinal surgical experience

Dr. Gollogly was absolutely wonderful. He listened to what I had to say about the pain I was experiencing and performed surgery perfectly. One of the best (maybe the best) doctors I’ve ever had.

Fine doctor who has seen me through many difficulties

Dr. Gollogly has always has time when I have questions. I feel at ease with him and have recommended him to others.

We visited today because our son has a sprained hip flexor and our experience could not have been better! Dr Gollogly was very patient and knowledgeable and made our son feel so comfortable. His MA Brandi was also amazing and so helpful! Thank you so much Dr G and Brandi! Highly recommend!

Dr. Gollogly is a thorough and honest in his assessment. He explains things well and takes the time to go through imaging. I had a 2nd opinion with another surgeon the same day and I felt much more comfortable with him and his prognosis. I'm very pleased I chose him.

Dr. Gollogly was recommended to me by my boss. He had recently performed disk replacement surgery on her and immediately she was better. I was having the same issues as my boss but was apprehensive about surgery. He reviewed my MRI and told me I had two bulging disks that were compressing my nerves in my neck. Detailed, a good listener, and very skilled in his work, Dr. Gollogly operated on my husband's spinal cyst with an excellent outcome. However, during my hubby's recovery, he unfortunately fell and gave himself a compression fracture. Now, Dr. Gollogly is treating this condition as well. We like that Dr. Gollogly is conservative in his treatment with pain medication as well as procedures. His Medical Assistant, Brandi, is excellent, caring, and very professional in her interactions. They are a wonderful team and we feel lucky to work with them and the staff at MS&J. Not at all a medical professional. He is on tinder looking for young women to join him and his girlfriend the night before he performs major surgeries (for drinks and much more if they can persuade any willing participants). Makes my skin crawl. No wonder why my father walks with a limp still after having hip replacement surgery from him. I am no longer in the Monterey area but if I were, I would NOT consider DR. Excellent Doctor. I have a sciatic problem due to bulging disc. He recommended physical therapy and was not in any hurry to recommend surgery. I appreciate that honesty. However, physical did not work out for me and finally I had to get spine surgery done. I highly recommend Dr. Sohrab Gollogly. He's not a 5 star, but rather a 10 star. :) Excellent Doctor. In 2018 I was very hesitant with any ideal of having spine surgery. I have been living with lower back pain for over 10 years and nothing I tried seemed to work or relieve the pain. I heard about Dr. Gollogly from a co-worker who was experiencing the same pain that I was and he had a microscopic spine surgery and was back to work in just a few days and feeling great. I finally gave in and contacted Dr. Gollogly’s office and made an appointment. From the first call to the last I was treated as if I was the only patient Dr. Gollogly had. I met with Dr. Gollogly and was very impressed with how personable he was and understanding with what I was experiencing. I had microscopic spine surgery on my L5 and was walking just a few hours after and this was the best decision I have ever made and wish I knew about him long before. Dr. Gollogly thank you so very much for your skilled hands and mind. You gave my life back to me.

Dr. Gollogly is an exceptional doctor. So very thorough, honest and explains in detail about your condition and how he can improve it. He impressed my son and I because he was ready to operate on my back until he saw how I walked and then he asked for an Xray and told me to come back after I had a complete hip replacement!! He was so right. I had the replacement and then be did my decompression surgery and now I can walk again without excruciating pain from the sciatic nerve. I cannot thank him enough and am so grateful to get back to a new way of life at 80 years of age. I recommend him to everyone who needs back surgery!

My husband is basically worse than he was before his surgery. We have tried for weeks and weeks to get post op care to take care of it and have been ignored repeatedly. He and his assistant are dismissive and cold and beyond their ability to handle the first surgery, they have ZERO care of their patients afterwards.

Good surgeon but trying to schedule an appointment via voicemail with his scheduler is a nightmare!

THIS DOCTOR IS THE WORST!! He is only interested in you if you have private insurance and can pay his fees UPFRONT. He looked down upon me because i was in so much pain and in tears when i saw him i could not even answer him..he became irritated and he didn't care ..i could not move I HAD A HERNIATED DISC IN MY BACK!! he told my husband to take me home..and when I asked for a prescription to help with my excruciating pain, he gave me ibuprofen and told me to drink red wine with it. I could not believe this man is a board certified surgeon. He has the worst bedside-manner, I would not eve let him touch my dog, let alone open up my back and DISECT my discs. Dr. Gollogly is amazing. He did mom's hip surgery, followed up on the care and rx administration in the nursing home, made a strong and thoughtful connection with her, and helped me, her daughter, get through the tough times. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Gollogly is a straight shooter. He's very attentive, intentionally listens, is very clear in explaining every little detail, he tells the truth, and his surgical skill has totally impressed me and my entire family. I did my homework and decided to proceed with Dr. Gollogly and the microsurgery on my neck. A more invasive surgery was originally scheduled but, my doctor sent me to Dr. Gollogly to try something else first. It sounded so simple but at my age, 68, I'm skeptical and apprehensive about most medicine and doctors, and have never allowed a back surgery till now. I decided to go forward because after all if it didn't work I could just do the more invasive procedure. The arm pain and dizziness I had before Dr. Gollogly did the surgery, has kept me homebound from driving for almost 4 years. My downtime after surgery was exactly as he promised, practically nothing. No kidding, just a couple of days. The pain of the surgery dissipated pretty quickly and I'm able to drive and use my right arm, and that happened within a week of the surgery! I should be the poster child for this type of surgery, and can't say enough positive things about Dr Gollogly, his staff and the surgery center. I trust him so much that I'm going to allow another surgery, lumbar microsurgery, on my very painfully back. I read another review that was negative and he or she can't have been talking about Dr. Gollogly and staff. He and his staff took care of every little detail with patience and compassion.
