Dr. Spencer Edward Voth

Just had an ear surgery done yesterday, everything went great, professional, joking and it was great.

If I could give a zero, I would. Dr Voth was supposed to be treating my mastoiditis but instead he was treating hearing loss. He didn't even look in my ear until procedure day. What he said he would do isn't even what he did. He put a hole in my eardrum but nothing drained out because fluid is stuck in my mastoid bone. Since nothing came out, he then told me there wasn't much else he could do for me. Now it's 3 weeks later, my ear is a million times worse. Fluid is moving around as well as my ear being swollen and in extreme pain that I ended up going to the ER just to get some relief.

Bad experience. Not personable. Just a bad job in general.

Extremely rude receptionist this morning. Was trying to explain that I am a current patient but couldn’t remember which Dr. I see at the clinic and she interrupted me with an agitated- “WHAT is your question?” Really?? If you can’t be kind you should NOT be working in healthcare. Aside from that I have seen Dr Voth twice for an ear problem and find him to be very cold and indifferent. It took me over a month to get an appointment with them and my ear condition has not gotten any better since I started seeing them. In fact- it has gotten exponentially worse. Not happy with the “care” I have received at this place at all. I have decided to stick with my primary care doctor and will not ever go back to this office. Extremely rude receptionist this morning. Great bedside manner, very through, and awesome surgeon!!!! We have been to others but voth is the best!!!!!

I don't normally write a review on Google, but I feel the urge that I need to because I had a great experience with Dr. Voth, his medical assistant Amie, surgical teams and all of his staffs at the front office. Before choosing Dr.Voth as my primary ENT surgeon, I met with four other ENT Doctors that was also highly reccomended from friends, but they were so rude, impatient, and too arrogant. The reason why my husband and I chose Dr. Voth is because he is "THE BEST", most welcoming, extremely compassionate, friendly, always smiling, caring, knowledgeable, and patient. Dr. Voth is an extremely good Doctor and I trust him. He is very calm and makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions. I had one of the biggest cholesteatoma in my ear and he was able to removed it without any complications. He is truly my angel that God sent for me during my operation. He has great follow-up via phone directly from Dr. Voth. My whole family was very pleased with the amazing work that he has done for me. We truly thank him and his team from the bottom of our heart. If you need a caring and knowledgeable ENT Doctor then he is the one for you. Instead of five stars, I rated him 10 stars. ???? Dr. Voth is amazing!! He not only had great bedside manner, but does everything he can to not operate! I read some reviews that he was in a hurry and not great bedside manner but I didn’t see any of that! He did have to operate on me and I was so pleased with his staff! His nurse answers all my questions and responds on My Chart. He called me after surgery to make sure I was doing well! I never felt rushed! He isn’t a doctor that operates and kicks you to the curb either he follows you to ensure you are healthy! The only complaint I have is the receptionists in that office (not friendly, long hold times, they seem annoyed by you, and very vague!) If I didn’t work for the healthcare system I wouldn’t have known what to do day of surgery. Thank you Dr. Voth!! I’m so pleased in my care! I highly recommend him to anyone needing a great ENT! I highly recommend Dr. Voth, he is kind, caring, compassionate and answers all your questions. Dr. Voth has great follow up care before and after surgery. Everyone in his office is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure your needs are taken care. Dr. Voth is truly a blessing to have as my ENT doctor. Dr. Voth definitely deserves a 10 star rating! Put in my 22 month old daughters first cochlear implant and highly recommended. Very knowledgeable. ????

Dr voth has been amazing with our 1 year old daughter who has medical issues. He explained everything to us before doing anything. He takes the time to contact us and check on her. We have had 2 sets of tubes done by him and we wouldn’t take our daughter anywhere else.

Dr. Voth is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better ENT for my 5 year old son. Darwin loves him. He explained everything before his surgeries and called to check on him after. My son does not warm up to people quickly and he has loved Dr. Voth since the beginning. His favorite time in his office was when he had a toy with him and Dr. Voth took him through the whole office to show off his toy. It made my son and myself feel super happy. Dr. Voth is amazing. Dr Voth did an absolute beautiful job on my 1 yr old son’s cochlear implant surgery. It’s perfect. Dr Voth took the time to answer all my questions, listen to all my concerns, and made sure we knew everything we needed to know. Dr Voth is an exceptional Dr of his field, and is extremely skilled. I highly recommend him.

I just called a few minutes ago, didn't get the receptionist name, but I was highly recommended from the surgeon I work for and Dr. Voth should know how his receptionist treats incoming calls. This receptionist hung up on me and left me feeling we were not welcomed. There first available appointment isn't until June, so she recommended me to Tulsa Ears, Nose and Throat. I could never leave people feeling lost to not knowing what direction to turn. Dr. Voth maybe a great physician, but his receptionist is horrible. Had a great experience with Dr. Voth as I had needed a tonsillectomy to be performed due to inflammation on both my tonsils, gave me great after care and had no serious complications post- op, great follow up via phone directly from Dr. Voth.

My husband had his second cochlear implant with Dr Voth. His demeanor, in our experience, was quite different than those of these reviews. His nurses that tended to my husband were exceptional. Dr Voth called multiple times to follow up during the after care. I believe this was one of the best attributes we experienced besides haning the cochlear implant surgically imbedded properly. My experience with Dr. Voth left me dazed and confused. He seems to be a doctor that just wants to get through the appointment as quickly as possible and send you on your way. No compassion, no caring, just hurry and get out of my chair. Whatever diagnosis he had I never heard and he gets really irritated when you ask questions about your condition. If you have any serious ear, nose or throat conditions don't see him, see somebody that is truly interested in healing. My experience with Dr. Voth left me dazed and confused. i don't normally write reviews, but after reading the last comment, I feel like I need to leave one. Dr Voth just did my daughters first cochlear implant surgery and I have only good things to say about him. Besides having no complaints about him in office, I couldn't have asked for a better surgery. He is very professional, was not in a rush anytime we were there, and answered all questions. He also called me the day before her surgery to answer my question, when he could ha e easily had a nurse call me.
