Mr. Sreenivasa Rao Nakka

I had Dr Nakka a couple of years ago. I had a gallbladder problem I had gallstones. I had an ultrasound. Dr. Nakka later said to me on the phone: " You don't have Gallstones. Maybe it's your heart or maybe it's your lung". I couldn't believe the audacity of that person. Not long after that I had a HIDA scan with a different doctor and it came back positive. Not only did I have gallstones my gallbladder wasn't even functioning.

This goes wayyyyy back to 1991. Dr nakka saved my life finding an abscess that had been misdiagnosed by other doctors for 3 months.

Worst experience of my life! Very unprofessional from The receptionist Janelle to the billing department Joanne and Dr Nakka! Was awake during the procedure and Dr Nakka never spoke to me after the procedure to go over the findings. I was told by the assistant that watched me after the procedure and felt it was unprofessional! Dr was rude and never introduced himself to me let alone talk to me other than, be quiet and put your head down! Would not recommend this doctor to anyone! Worst experience of my life! Horrible experience from billing department JoAnn to Dr Nakka! Other staff members were kind. Was awake during procedure and only thing the Dr said to me during my visit/procedure was be quite and put your head down! Never introduced himself to me or went over results with me. Humiliated and very unprofessional! I would NOT recommend Dr Nakka to anyone! Very disappointed!

DO NOT use unless you are prepared to get screwed around. Made appt for June 3rd @ 7:30am. Had phone consult w/Dr 4/21st. Called office to confirm date/time for procedure only to learn firstly that (1) didn't have me scheduled. This then changed to (2) 'oh..I can book you in but it will have to be @ 10:30am.' The 6/3rd date/time permitted my spouse to drop me off, go to his medical appt, & be back to pick me up (per their instructions). Was told they would reschedule person scheduled for 7:30. Just contacted again only to be told they 'haven't heard back from patient" & that "I have to take 10:30 appt." Suffice to say I wanted Dr to call me so I can share with him what has transpired & will be sharing experience with primary care physician & seek alternate referral. Colonoscopy and endoscopy went great, the nurses were incredible, the Dr. is rude, I only spoke to him on the phone and he was very rude. Shame on him, I never met him, nor did I even see him, you see, he never even bothered to see me before or after the procedure…they do not call as they said they would, with the biopsy results. Shame on this Dr. for his lack of compassion and complete lack of treating patients with respect. I will not be recommending anyone here, and of course, I will not be back. His reviews are very telling, but I decided to see for myself, the reviews were correct….I learned my lesson….same as eBay, you do not purchase from sellers with bad reviews…same thing here…the reviews certainly warn you…

worst experience of my life ! woke up during colonoscopy ! He is rude and just wants to charge you for any little thing ! His nurses were great ! He should retire the worse Doctor ever ! I knew before colonoscopy that he would find a polyp no matter what ! because then he could charge you another $250.00 I was crying in pain

My original telephone consultation got moved a few times but it was far more convenient than driving 40 minutes for an office visit. Front desk staff were nice and pleasant. The nurse I had was very kind gentle and had great bedside manner not only for me but other patients in recovery. Procedure room nurse and doctor (Nakka) were very professional and answered all of my questions. Procedure and recovery went very smooth with no pain or discomfort. I had questions and concerns about the procedure and talked to the office staff four different times to see if I could come in or talk to the doctor ahead of time. I had to explain myself and my situation every time. I was told I could not come in for an office visit because of Covid. All my other doctors are seeing patients in the office now. Finally, the doctor called me. He was pleasant and accommodating but I’m not sure if I will actually go in for the colonoscopy or go elsewhere. I'm not understanding all the negative reviews?? I just had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and it was easy peasy. The entire process, from consultation, to prep, the procedure, was smooth and professional. I didn't feel a thing, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how painless the whole thing was. The nurses in the procedure were kind, caring, empathetic and VERY good at their job. If your primary and/or your insurance refer you to Dr Nakka's office, you are in good hands. (One star removed for minor inconveniences including being asked to come in early, only to wind up waiting an hour anyway. He was so rough jamming the equipment so hard I got a mass on my sacrum. The endoscopy was jammed down my throat and I continued to gag. It was a nightmare!

My advice... Stay far away from this practice. The Doctor, Dr. Nakka is rude, impersonal, and not a very friendly person. His staff is absolutely terrible, Esmeralda and Erika the scheduler and receptionist are discourteous, lies straight to your face, and they have absolutely ZERO customer service skills. If I could post a negative star I would. One star is still too much. He should lose his license.

Office is dirty, and I saw a woman clipping her nails in the waiting room last time I was there. Dr Nakka is rude and doesn't want to help his patients. He told me I had to "learn to live with" my IBS and offered zero help whatsoever. Office staff forced me into an endoscopy appointment despite me telling them I had no ride and no way to get one, and she never told me that if I needed to reschedule it had to be done almost a week ahead of time so when I called to try to reschedule the woman I spoke to was super condescending. They can't even do paperwork right and Nakka would retire and stop hurting people.

He missed a colon blockage in my friends colon and told her to come back in 2 week after he could not finish her colonoscopy.she would be dead if she didnt get a 2nd opinion and emergency surgery for colon blockage,she now has colonoscopy bag and cancer.

Dr Nakka was so rough that I developed a mass on my sacrum. They kept jamming the scope for the endoscopy and I continually kept gagging and choking! No sedation! Horrible!

By default one star is the lowest rating I can give. While the entry level staff is polite and professional, "Providing compassionate care" is not the practice of Dr. Nakka. To tell my mother in sarcastic tone: "you are 84 years old, how long do you want to live, to 100?" when she came for second time to seek help for her ongoing stomach problems, IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT A PATIENT. Busy Staff busy Dr. too. Rate 5 Stars for all of their great Medical Care. Great location, near the only full service Hospital in town. Near public transit, gas station, 24/7 Comvenience store, also, with coffee, food, cooked eggs, novelties, candy, gloves, you name it.

My dad was in great pain, and was referred to Dr. Nakka. The first thing Dr. Nakka did was ask my dad's age. He told Dad he was too old for a colonoscopy (he was 89). My dad said he was having pain in his stomach, not his intestinal area. Dr. Nakka said he couldn't help my dad, he should just take Tums and a probiotic. My dad passed away 3 months later from pancreatic cancer. Dr. Nakka didn't behave like a doctor, showed no care or compassion. My dad suffered needlessly. You should be ashamed.

I had a colonoscopy and an EGD done at the same time. I was treated with respect and ALL of the staff were very courteous and helpful. They worked very hard at making me comfortable. I had polyps removed and biopsied. So far so good. Very professional!

my wife had a colonoscopy by Dr Nakka. Everything went smooth, the office people were friendly and we were impressed with the nice facility. On a side note wife was glad she had it done cause they found 4 polyps. Got em early and everything is gonna be fine.

Dr. Nakka is the worst doctor I have ever been to. I believe if the AMA would look into him, he would be removed from the medical rolls here in the USA..a 1 star is to much for him....

With the endoscopy I was wideawake gagging and choking! The colonoscopy awful.. They had my legs all over and with a back injury was not good. I've had the procedure before without experiencing this torture. This was a night mare.

Bad experience with staff. Had to repeatedly call for my receipt and I also was over charged, and had a difficult getting my reimbursement took over 4 months. Staff was rude and unprofessional.
