I was extyremely nervous never having had a root canal before. The doctor and his staff showed patience, compassion and understanding. The procedure went off without a hitch. The man and his office are true professionals.

He is a caring wonderful dentist he just worked on my husband and did a fantastic job thank you so much doc we appreciate you and your wonderful staff

Dr. Boatright took amazing care of me while under his care. I was very anxious when I had my initial appointment with him for the root canal evaluation because I had a bad experience during a previous dental procedure w/ a military dentist years ago. I ended up rescheduling the evaluation so I could come back to Dr. Boatright when I wasn't so nervous. He did a great job getting the root canal taken care of and I left feeling much better than I did when I arrived. Highly recommend he and his team and would definitely go back if I ever need anything else.

I was so nervous about having my first root canal done. Dr Boatright and his staff made sure I was comfortable. No pain at all during the procedure. Mind you I have a very low pain tolerance level. They also were informative about follow up care and procedures.

Dr Boatright was Professional, considerate, compassionate. Staff was friendly, efficient and caring. Office was emasculate and beautiful. Great experience with something I was dreading. They made sure I was comfortable. I appreciated all their attention to detail. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

Folks this is the place to go. I had a root canal on my number 15 tooth, and I couldn’t be more pleased. It really didn’t hurt much at all, I couldn’t even feel the shots. Dr. Boatright is thorough, but will still take the time to talk to you like a person. Thanks !

I was not blessed with good teeth from an early age. So I have been to many dentist, orthodontics and endodontics in my life. I have seen DDS Boatright since 2010. After 12 years I needed a retreat of one root canal. When I showed up everyone was nice as always and was able to get me in within a couple of days. I will say I have been putting this off do to work and weather issues. So by the time I got there the issue had spread to another tooth. Boatright does not do something unless it is something you truly need. From the X-ray even I could see I needed a double retreat. I have always been the 2% of reactions to medication and I also don't numb very easy. Boatright was aware and took care of everything to keep me comfortable. About 3 days later my gums started to swell and the pain was unbearable. I text Boatright and he made himself available on a Saturday instead of me having to wait till Monday. That truly shows how much he cares for his patients!!! DDS Boatright and all of his staff have great bedside manners. I have laughed at a few of the reviews on Boatright and was board so I read some of the negative reviews. The people who left negative reviews have never left a nice review about anything or anyone. I said a prayer for those "Karen's". In the end I will always pick a highly trained professional with the high tech tools to do a great job. Hint.... Have had 2 root canals done here and it was amazing both times. Very caring and understanding staff. I used nitrous to calm down and there was no pain during the whole process. Jessica assisted she was great even let me hold her hand. Thank you for making this a great experience.

He is rude. My wife and I went in and she told the receptionst she was nervous and afraid of dentists and doesn't trust them, and so she wanted me to go in with her. Dr.boatright comes out and I thought he was going to reassure her that she would be fine and in safe hands. Instead, he snatches the clipboard from her and tells her it isn't going to work out with her attitude and we are dumbfounded. Her last dentist damaged her nerve so he should be understanding about mistrust. This place won't be in business for long. Ridiculous

I had an amazing experience with this wonderful office. Everyone was so welcoming and Dr. Boatwright is great. Best experience getting a root canal. Very fast, painless and entertaining. Hours later and still no pain. I highly recommend them for all endodotics!

Had a root canal and crown at my regular Family Dental a few months ago. Soon after my tooth became infected and painful. They said the root canal didn’t take and my only option was to extract and get an implant. I didn’t want to lose my tooth. Came to see Dr. Boatwright and he brought me back in the next day. He discovered a tiny piece of metal in my canal from the first root canal, and worked until he got it out. My tooth is fixed and healing with no more pain or infection. Had to have a root amputation which he did correctly but when I began to feel concerned about complications I returned to express my concerns. I was treated in an extremely condescending manner and my concerns were ignored. After a year of healing, several sinus infections and obvious sinus leakage from sight I sought a CT scan which confirmed my suspicions. Follow up with an oral surgeon further confirmed that my concerns should have been heeded. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone go there.

He was as gentle as possible and he worked with my insurance being out of network when no other endodontist would. His office is very soothing. This was my best dental experience ever. Everyone was super friendly. Very helpful and explained everything along the way. They made sure I was comfortable as I can be. Wanted someone who would perform my root canal in a timely manner. Not only did he do this for me, but he made sure I was comfortable and completely pain free. He communicates with you the entire time of the process and does so with respect to you.

He made Me feel Really Comfortable & positive that He would take care of my Dental needs after being dissatisfied several other occasions elsewhere. I think I’ve found a great Dentist & Really Nice Staff!

I had been in pain for several days prior to my root canal, I went and saw Dr. Boatright previously for just general dentistry work and loved the office and staff. Very clean, very updated, and very thorough explaining EVERYTHING. I had seen the same dentist since I was 13 and ALWAYS had to return to have things "fixed" I hate change but switching to Dr. Boatright was a breathe of fresh air and has put faith in me that things can be done right the first time with my teeth! Dr. Boatright and his staff are phenomenal they went above and beyond to ease my son's mind (and mine) for his root canal. There was no pain involved during his procedure and he slept through the night last night!! YESS :) no pain During the procedure my son was comfortable and did great! After, I was given written discharge papers, and verbal instructions & a phone number in case we needed to reach the doctor. Just walking into Dr. Boatright's office has a cheery light energy that would put anyone's mind at ease, from a child to an older adult who might be a little nervous. The office is extremely clean and all his staff is professional. The office is amazing with beautiful paintings that are gorgeous and so vibrant! It made us feel relaxed to be there, ( yes even for a root canal) Fun fact Dr. Boatright painted most all of the artwork. Stay away from Dr. Boatright's office. There is a reason you can get in quickly while other professionals have longer waiting lists. Dr. Boatright uses subpar filling materials for root canals along with a bad technique that leads to severe abscess within 5 years of a procedure. He is quite rude to patients and ignores their comments when they are not adequately numbed and feel the drilling. Dr. Boatright has treated several family members with difficult issues. They said it was the best experience at a dentist they had ever had. Will never go anywhere else.

I love Dr Boatwright and especially his assistant Jessica! They do such a wonderful job taking care of me every time I go in! They make getting a root canal not so bad! I’m so thankful we have them in our area!

I though he was very good. I had enough novocaine to kill the pain. As soon as I showed signs of pain I was given another shot. The equipment he used eliminated the normal feeling I have for a 2 hour procedure. Last time I had a crown done I envisioned myself drowning in the dentist chair. I was referred to Dr Boatright and my experience was great. I had a tooth that my regular dentist did not think could be saved as soon as he saw it he told me he could save. He and his staff were very knowledgeable and caring.

I read some of the reviews before taking my 8 year old son to Dr. Boatright, and I was very nervous as my son is extremely anxious and scared of medical procedures. What we found here was kindness, compassion, cleanliness, and top notch service. Dr. Boatright was gentle and attentive to both me and my son. He explained things and answered any and all of our questions and concerns honestly and also gave recommendations for my son’s follow-up care. His assistant was very sweet to answer all of my son’s questions and explain what different tools were. She took multiple x-rays to be certain everything was successful before we left. My son was given a blanket, comforted, and well taken care of. Another assistant held his hand throughout the entire root canal, and Dr. Boatright allowed me and my mother to be in the room for extra comfort. We were all offered drinks, and my son was given freshly baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies before we left. We have now been to Dr. Boatright twice, and both times we felt we were treated wonderfully and received excellent care. On a side note—his office is colorful and filled with beautiful artwork that he did himself! Knowledgeable, reassuring, professional, sensitive to a patient’s concerns with effective, pain free treatment. This was my second procedure with Dr. Boatright and I would not hesitate returning or recommending him to a friend. An added bonus was a terrific staff who were helpful and caring.

I do not recommend this dude at all. He knocked my crown off when he was putting the mouth guard in. Picked it up off the floor wiped it off, put it back on and said it will probably fall off again. Very unprofessional in my opinion and do not recommend him whatsoever. When I was at the desk making a payment I wanted to ask him a question and they said he left to boating for the weekend. This was like 5-10 min after he was done.

I was at Dr Boatright’s office today and had a Root Canal done and it went the way it is supposed to. Dr Boatright and staff both was very nice and explained to me the entire procedure, and I never felt a thing during it either. I am a little sore now 5 hours later mostly where my mouth has been open during the procedure but that is to be expected, think about it someone just did an envasive procedure and your gonna feel it later but that goes away and is normal. Dr Boatright if very knowledgeable and thorough. He and his staff were very kind to me. His office is impeccable and so are his surgical skills. He is very particular and knows his stuff. I wouldn't want anyone else to be working on my major dental issues. He made sure I was comfortable the whole process and did a wonderful job.

What wasn't fine was we paid the bill when work was done and the started getting a extra bill for extra 600 bucks on top of the 1300 I paid and the 670.00 that the insurance paid . Called the staff and never was called back. Then got a letter saying they where going to send to collections. BE SURE TO GET TOTAL BILL BEFORE HAND. Feels like total scam on billing. Make sure they are in network they will say they accept your insurance but won't say they are not in network then charge you the extra afterwards. My experience went okay during the procedure. The doctor and his staff were very friendly. I did have trouble getting the x-ray's done. My canal was done on my very back upper tooth, and the machine was to large for me to close my mouth on and the roof of my mouth was damaged and very sore from it. The Dr. did just not understand that it was physically impossible for my teeth to bite together on the machine. My problem is that before we started the procedure the front desk person told me my portion of the visit and asked me how I was going to pay. However, she left out the part where my insurance company told them that I was not covered for the procedure at the time of my visit ( I needed to wait 2 more months) and all charges would be out of pocket. They just let me get the procedure done and took my money and then billed me the uncovered amount later. I contacted my insurance company and they verified that the notes stated that Dr. Boatright's office had been told I was not covered. It is very upsetting that they did not pass this information along to me. And then no one from the office even called me to explain. I didn't pay the bill in hopes that someone would call to collect on it and I could get an apology or something, but instead they just sent me another bill charging me finance charges. This man was the worst dentist i have ever been to, completely unprofessional and one of the worst attitudes from a so called professional. He has no care to how much pain you are in, i personally think he enjoys your pain, and i don't say that lightly. When you tell him you are hurting he acts completely pissed off, and will continue to work on you anyway, he will yell at you if you move your hands while he is working, or not keep your mouth exactly as he asked you too. He was extremely ruff with me and rude, not to mention narcissistic .I ended up in the hospital with my abscess due to him not wanting to do anything about it when i went to his office. then he started my bridge work and did not finish, so i ended up loosing those after i paid for them as a result of him. Then he yelled at me at the end of my apt when i said your not going to help me with this abscess after i waited three months to get in to see you. He told me that he was busy and to make a different apt without giving antibiotics or draining the abscess, he then as i was walking out yelled in front of other patients that he would not help me, and not to come back. I was mortified could not believe that he did that and i did nothing to deserve this. I went back to my dentist that referred me to him to find out that he called there office and stated i yelled at his receptionist, Never happend. i recommend never going to this man. he truly needs to have his licence yanked i have never in my life been through such a ordeal with a dentist. I am a dental woosie and have low pain tolerance. mine was a difficult one that took way over the usual time but Dr Boatright and the staff were so great. they checked in to see how I was and provided me with some crackers and sprite when I left as it made me nauseous which happens to me. thanks to all the staff. didn't need the pain med prescription even with the extended work. he's that good. i agree with below. if you have to have a root canal, this is the dentist to do it. I loved Dr. Boatright and his staff! He was really friendly and explained everything to me in detail and explained why treatment should be done as soon as possible (new crown gone bad and I had to be sent to a specialist). I really hate going to the dentist for just my regular checkups so seeing a specialist was even worse for me since I have never had to have a root canal. I was super anxious about having to have root canal treatment, but Dr. Boatright and his staff did the best that they could to ease my anxiety and ensure that I was comfortable and felt no pain at all during the procedure. If you must have a root canal done, you should go to Dr. Stephen Boatwright in NLR, off of Maumelle Blvd/Crystal Hill Dr. He was very nice and didn't rush through the procedure. He and his assistant kept me informed about the remaining duration. Throughout the procedure, the doctor accurately described the amount of discomfort I would feel ahead of time, if he expected me to feel any, so that I would know what to expect. No root canal is without pain, but I can honestly say that compared to my two previous root canals which were performed by other doctors, this one was heads above the other ones. He has an excellent bedside manner, and I trust that when he said to call the office if I experience any abnormal pain or complications, he meant it. Dr. Boatright was very accommodating and professional. My family dentist told me that the root canal that I was referred to was a very difficult procedure due to the shape of my roots. Dr. Boatright thoroughly explained the procedure to me, and made sure I was comfortable. I'm happy to report its been a few months since the procedure and I have had no problems! Also, his office is very modern and he gives you cookies and refreshments afterwards!

He raised his voice at me for not getting my mouth in the position he wanted it in without first explaining how he would like it to be. He only offered novacaine and seemed unconcerned about the extremely high leave of pain I want experiencing. I left his office with my tooth feeling worse than when I came in to the office. I have suffered over the weekend and will need more woke now. He behaved very unprofessionally towards me especially in deafness to my pain.

So now we are 2-for-2. Two root canals done by Dr. Boatright and both had to be re-done because he "missed" something. This second root canal redo was very serious with infection going down into the bone. Thousands of dollars for a shoddy job. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Boatright has the best tools available to medical science. I've toured his office and had the pleasure to talk at length to the staff about various contraptions around the office. I was surprised to learn how on the cutting edge this practice is. I found it refreshing to find a professional that takes pride in his work. I recently went to see Dr. Boatright for a root canal. He was friendly and very courteous. As uncomfortable as getting dental work can be I found myself falling asleep while he was working on my tooth. The exam room was the right temperature, not to cool. I would highly recommend Dr. Boatright to anyone with endodontic issues.
