He accused me of acting like a “martyr” which was deeply painful & offensive to me. His remark affected my mental health in an extremely adverse way. I will never return.

Dr. Kocaj is the best orthopedic physician I have had and I recommend him to everyone. I have had two knee reconstructions done by him and both experiences were phenomenal. During my second knee injury, I went to another doctor as it was an emergency (broken femur, tib/fib, and partially ruptured MCL) and the doctor completely missed my torn ACL and 2 meniscus tears. After waiting a couple months after the originally diagnosed injuries healed and still having issues I called Dr. Kocaj to have him take a look and he got me in immediately, diagnosed the issue quickly and preformed the surgery. His bedside manner is STELLAR, as someone who has very high anxiety with surgeries, Dr. Kocaj was very patient, answered all of my questions and did everything he could to calm my nerves. I will never go to another ortho again! I can't say enough good things about him and his staff.

Dr. Kocaj is always professional, personable and knowledgeable. He has provided me with excellent care for arthritic knees.

I feel Dr. Kocaj is professional, caring and thorough. He is a fantastic listener and is completely kind and understanding. I have an immense amount of respect and trust in him and the decisions he has made with my many health challenges.

I saw Dr. Kocaj today for a knee injury ... He was, at once, friendly, engaged and truly interested in what I had to say while explaining what had happened. He succinctly diagnosed the problem, told me what he thought we should do and then proceeded to treat me. I left feeling uplifted that there are doctors like him available to us. Just such a nice experience; trust him implicitly after one visit.

I highly recommend Dr. Kocaj. From the first visit, he made me feel at ease with a great bedside manner and positive personality. He spends a lot of time with you and gets to know you as a patient. He performed surgery on my knee and I felt confident in his skill and level of care. I’ve been equally impressed with the follow-up care I’ve received at my post-op appointments. He has truly put effort and genuine care into making the best plan for my recovery and success.

I've seen him multiple times for various joint issues. Each and every time he's taken his time to explain everything, answer any questions I have, and come up with a conservative treatment plan. I've never felt rushed or felt like he brushed aside any of my questions or concerns. He's very personable, GREAT bedside manner, but most importantly, he knows his stuff inside and out. I feel very confident if I do ever need surgery, he's the one to do it, and will do a good job.

It felt amazing to learn that Dr. Kocaj had reviewed my MRI CD, MRI report, and my XRAY prior to entering the examination room. As he asked me questions about my shoulder, I felt confident that I had finally found a doctor who was going to be able to treat me with success. We discussed my symptoms. He designed a short -term and a long - term treatment goal. He was extremely gentle while injecting the steroid shot, and considerate of my comfortability. I recommend Dr. Kocaj with 5 STARS!!!

Dr Kocaj was very personable and approachable with a 'can do' attitude that helped me see things from a 'half full' perspective. Enjoyed his level of energy and his willingness to care for the complete patient = me! Outcomes/Results after procedure were very positive
