Called to inquire about cysts on hand. Lady was short and curt. I was then placed in hold, then I heard the phone to be picked up and I got hung up on. I will take it as a blessing in disguise.

I saw Dr. Sandoval on behalf of a friend (I took her for her appointment). I thought she needed a knee replacement. Dr. Sandoval discovered that she had a potentially fatal condition -- a hip breaking through into her pelvic region. Thanks to him, and to Dr. Osterman (who Dr. Sandoval contacted), my friend received the surgery she needed. That was about 10 years ago. I am forever grateful to Dr. Sandoval for obtaining help for my friend and to Dr. Osterman for performing the surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Sandoval by another Orthopedic surgeon due to significant tear of my rotor cuff along with other tears. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Sandoval in the office and staff was great! Though surgery was very frightening for me he covered all bases. Very professional and caring. Highly recommend.

He isn’t a dr that has empathy for his patients.

I went in with shoulder expecting I needed surgery. After reviewing the X-rays, the X-rays that I had to hold the film myself, with my bad arm. After he said it’s only strained he asked me “ With your cancer, have they told you how long you have”? Stunned is an understatement. He then said that ask I know, the rehab is quite intense, and IF I’VE ONLY GOT THREE MONTHS, IT’S NOT WORTH IT”. ????. So why are we talking about surgery when you just said it’s only strained??? I will never recommend Dr. Steven Sandoval!!!!! Consulted Dr. Worrel from the Carrell Clinic and of course surgery is required!! RUDE... The surgery went well, and Dr. Sandoval is great, fantastic even. I would recommend him to others without a second thought. The office manager however is not so great, and not willing to work with the patients. I had $13.54 in my account and payment was $16. I asked if I could pay them in a couple days on payday and they wouldn't allow me to do so. They wouldn't budge on the $16. Horrible service if you ask me. I drove 45 min in the rain to get there and they still insisted that I reschedule for when I have the money. No matter how I begged and pleaded, it didn't matter to them. There is a sign at the front that states "payment due at time of service unless special arrangements have been made." So I asked what "special arrangements" means. She said if I call before hand maybe, and work something out. Well if I knew before hand that I would have a payment due, I would have just rescheduled instead of driving out there. She claimed I received a call with details the day before, and a message was left. This wasn't true, because I took the call, and it was simply a reminder of the appointment time. No payment was discussed. The three appointments prior I didn't have a payment due. She said this was in part because of how the insurance worked out, and being within my "90 day period." No further explanation of this was given. For them to throw a fuss over $16, is just wrong. I even showed them my bank account to prove that I would go negative. This doesn't show much regard for patients needs, and also shows a lack of care and compassion for others. It's disheartening to see this type of behavior. $16! And she just had to have it. This surgery was a huge success and Dr Sandoval did an excellent job. Office staff is very helpful and would do it again.

While Dr Sandoval, his PA, and his nurses are all fantastic I regrettably will never use his office again. His office staff, specifically Taya are the most unprofessional and horrible people I have ever meet in my life. They can not keep scheduling straight and when they make a mistake they will both lie and falsify their records to make it your fault. After my surgery I was scheduled a 10:00am appointment a week later and when I got there they tried to say my appointment was at 9:30 and if it hadn't been for the PA they would have refused to see me. Then today I was running late due to traffic and ended up being 17 minutes late and they refused to see me. The office staff thinks the world revolves around them. Again, Dr Sandoval and the medical staff are awesome; however, that is overshadowed by the bag of excrement that is his office staff. In the future I will defiantly be going elsewhere.

What a horrible uncaring doctor. Dont waste your time if you're wanting help with your medical problems. Totally useless

Called to inquire about a consultation. First, they quoted $800+ for a short consult as a cash patient per the woman I spoke with. Then after asking price w\ insurance, & being put on hold, they refused to see altogether me as a cash patient.

Dr. Sandoval was direct and to the point. I will forever be grateful for saving my husbands leg. But that's where the review ends. His office staff starting with the lady who answers the phone and does the scheduling is the rudest women I have ever encountered in a Dr's office! Dr sandoval is great and so is his STAFF. He did my knee scope great job recovery was quick and easy.

Very caring doctor. He has done my knee & shoulder surgery. I would highly recommend him as an surgeon to anyone. I even love the staff. They are always nice to me.

Dr. Sandoval is wonderful. He explained in detail, and answered all of my questions. He has taken care of several family members including my children. His office staff was very courteous, and kind. It was a great experience.

I received injections in my elbow from Dr. Sandoval they made a huge difference. He also found some other issues and referred me to doctor get that taken care. His office staff were friendly. The new lady at front desk is super friendly. Thank you.

Dr Sandoval was my surgeon on my shoulder when i was injured at a football game in college. He answered all my questions and even came and talked with my mom and answered her questions. Love, love this doctor. I have brought my son to him for a sports injury. I went in thinking he needed surgery and came out trying other options. I loved the fact he didn't want to try surgery first. It was the last option instead of the first like other doctors. My son healed perfectly and now my husband is seeing him for his knees. Love the staff too. Only bad I could say is the with other people coming being rude to the front desk girl expecting not to pay their money and not wanting to do the paperwork. Love, love this doctor. Dr Sandoval is awesome. He has been great to me, and doesn't just do surgery to get the money. He won't operate u less you need it. The office staff, however, is quite rude and condescending. Lady at the front won't even answer a question about a form they're asking to be filled out.

I had my hand crushed at work and one of my fingers was destroyed, the doctors at the hospital literally laughed and said they couldn't do anything to fix it. Dr. Sandoval was called in as a specialist and performed surgery that saved me from having to get my finger amputated. He saw me through recovery and thanks to him I still have 10 working fingers. I would recommend using him to anyone and everyone. I was very pleased with my expirence from the receptionist who helped me schedule my appointment and got me seen right away, to the X-ray technician who was very friendly and professional. Dr. Sandoval's office was very busy that day, however I never felt rushed. He sat with me patiently and listend. He explained my x-rays and treated my hand and follow up with me days later. I highly recommend

I have been dealing with pain iny shoulder for years. Tried many doctors. Dr Sandoval was the first that listened to me. I liked that even though he is an surgeon, surgery was not the first thing he wanted to try. All other surgeons I have gone to have always had surgery as a result before they even saw me. But dr Sandoval sat with me and we together set up a plan to avoid surgery for me. I was really impressed with him.

I really enjoy this doctor. He explained everything to me in language I could understand. He is funny and has good bedside manners.He stayed in room with me until I understood everything. I would recommend this dr to any and everyone. After avoiding surgery, I finally had it and wished I found dr sandoval years ago for him to do my surgery. I feel no pain now since i have had my knee replaced. I had another dr do the other knee years ago and it still hurts. He is the best for new knees.

Dr.was fine.,but the rude,unprofessional interaction by the front office women (appointment scheduler) ruined my experience and my chances to receive care from doctor.Her bullying is going under the radar in that office!

Dr Sandoval explained to me a that I had a torn tendon and told me he would not operate on me because of my medical history of vascular problems. He was rude and did not offer any other suggestions or alternate therapies. He told me my condition was bad and dismissed me with callous disdain. I felt his opinion was based on the type of insurance I had to offer and if it had been something better than a Medicare Advantage plan his entire approach would have been different. Money and ethics.

The knee replacement surgery went Great. No complaints. Dr. Sandoval and Shannon are very competent. 5 Stars. But in dealing with the front Office staff; they are rude. Unsympathetic to having the patient drive 130 miles for a prescription.Throws a shadow on the whole experience for me!

Dr Sandoval is great! He fixed my knee. It wasn't a fun recovery and I'm sure I was a whiny patient but he was very professional and put up with me. He was honest from the get go about how hard it was going to be. I've had been dealing with elbow pain for almost 6 months. Dr. Sandoval gave me a shot in the elbow and 3 days later...no pain! Thank you sir!

I have been going to Dr. Sandoval for years and the office staff that he has now is the best he's ever had!! Shannon is so caring and Heather is compassionate. I hope he never loses these two ladies!!!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sandoval. He and his staff are 1st rate. Excellent physician and an excellent people all around.

Dr. Sandoval was very friendly and he explained things in great terms which I could understand. He gave me several different options which I can try to see if it would help me. The office staff was very nice.
