We took my daughter to see him years ago for shoulder instability. We were referred by another sports Ortho. Her shoulder would sublux daily. He examined her and told us he thought she was making it up for attention. Her subluxations progressed to dislocations over time. Luckily found two other Ortho doctors who understood her hypermobility condition. After multiple surgeries she is stable. Guess it wasn’t in her head! My son was hit by a car and had a fracture. I took him to the Westin office. The doctor is wonderful, caring and informative. I am going to make an appointment for myself. He’s worth the 40 minute drive!

Dr. Swirsky saved my arm and wrist from surgery. He is very kind and compassionate and extremely professional - sees the patient before anything else. Strongly recommend for any sports injury.

Horrible experience! The front desk ladies are so rude! She shouldn’t be working at a front desk. Doesn’t Offer solutions, I went there referred by a coach and she complained about my appoint not being there she asked the nurse and the nurse said you have to put her there she comes recommended. And then she said my insurance doesn’t cover. I offered to self pay and she said no! This is a health facility you have to offer solutions, it’s not a restaurant that you don’t have a table to seat. A year and five months back, I took my child to Dr. Stephen after she had an accident. Her nerve had been dislocated and Dr. Stephen told me that surgery was neccessary if she was to live a normal life without pain. As a result, we went through with the surgery and after a month in a cast, it was all done. She still had pain so he said that the pain would be gone after three months. However, three months passed, and her pain still lingered. Since then, a lot more time has passed and my child still suffers the pain from the surgery. Stephen Swirsky told us that after the surgery, my daughter would be able to live a normal life as she was before the accident, but up to this day, she has a pain stronger than before the accident. Just needed to share with the world my testimony of how GREAT our God is. On March 18th 2019 approximately 7 1/2 months ago my oldest son Khyiere had a freak accident playing basketball. He fell and broke the neck of his femur. Khyiere was rushed by fire rescue in so much pain to Nicholas Children's hospital. It was a task to even get a Xray done because he could barely be moved. Once doctor's were able to get a picture I was advised to sign consent forms right away he needed to be rushed into emergency surgery. We were so blessed that God laid hands on such a amazing orthopedic surgeon at Nicholas Children's hospital by the name of Dr Stephen M.Swirsky. Khyiere had to have large pins installed to hold his bones together and was in a wheelchair for months. From day one Dr Swirsky has been exceptional with the care of my son and has always been up front and kept me and Khyiere informed. We are so blessed that on this day November 12th 2019 me and Khyiere went in for one of his regular monthly appointments with Dr. Swirsky where of course he has to have x rays done everytime and to God be the glory my son was advised that he is healed in Jesus name.. he can run, he can jump, and can be a normal child again of course with CAUTION . I just wanted the world to see how amazing God is and we should never doubt his love and healing power (want he do it)???????????????????????????????????????? Doctor Swirsky is an excellent physician with amazing bedside manner. Due to two separate wrestling injuries, my son has needed see Dr. Swirsky and, I cannot begin to thank him for his wonderful care & great expertise. With Dr. Swirsky's great knowledge and expertise, we were able to avoid surgery for his first injury and although for his second injury we were not as lucky and needed to undergo surgical intervention, I cannot express how thankful my husband and I are for our sons outcome, and as well as the great attention and care he afforded him. Dr. Swirsky is not only and great physician and we were lucky to have him care for our son, but he always made us feel like family.
