After a CT scan in the ER and barium x-rays that he ordered and never looked at, he sent me home with "gastroenteritis". Went to ER in Midland and they immediately found 2 masses in my abdomen that are most likely cancer! Don't waste your time in Big Spring. Go somewhere else if you value your health!

Dr. Cox was brought as the specialist after I entered the ER and the initial diagnosis by the team was of a perforated colon which would require a colostomy. Not only Dr. Cox pointed other probable reasons for my symptoms and exams, as he offered me all the scenarios and approaches. He then performed an exploratory and reparatory surgery the next day, which showed to be a case of a perforated appendix, proving how experienced he is. He was always kind, professional, knowledgable and accessible.
