Dr. Steven G Becker

A month after my first visit to Dr. Becker's office, I feel as though some serious, years long orthopedic disorder (for lack of a better explanation) has been reversed. If you're experiencing pain in the sacrum/tailbone/root chakra area, Dr. Becker is an expert at diagnosing and treating this area. He has a supernatural gift for carrying out his talented work very quickly, and efficiently. He not only is a gifted healer, but he is an excellent communicator throughout the appointment as well. He can talk you through a crisis, he is non judgmental, he has incredible knowledge of the skeletal system, and the prices for treatment are beyond reasonable. Parking is easy, the location is easy to find, the office is proven to be a safe space to express how pain has changed your life, and expectations for a positive outcome for this treatment are met (read all the other reviews, then compare the quality of care that the patients/clients describe with some of the other chiropractors out there, and you'll see a pattern of excellence that is authentic, and occurring in real life). He doesnt need to send you off to do Xrays, MRI's, PET scans or anything extra like that. All he needs is your explanation of the pain you are feeling, and he sees + finds it as if he can see through your skin, his work is seriously borderline paranormal. He doesn't make untasteful jokes at weird times, he is so down to earth, respectful and knowledgeable that you can just sense he is confident in his abilities and care. Both he and his assistant Mayra are an incredible team that are literally churning out life changing work. Dr. Becker is in the highest echelon of talented healers on the Planet. There are no fancy machines, there are no empty promises, there is just raw talent, professionalism, and education displayed by him at all times. Recovery from tailbone injuries is/are possible. After years of searching for an answer, it is found that visiting him should be the first and only step. The journey to solve your physical problems doesnt have to be 5+ years in a psychological wilderness of pain and suffering, it literally can be treated in less than 20 minutes at his office. You can play combat sports again, you can cycle again, you can live a full functioning life again. Call him, make the drive, take the plane, borrow money, put everything on a credit card, do what you have to do to make your appointment happen. Thank me, and all of the preceding reviewers later. Really enjoyed my treatments with Dr. Becker. He is very professional explains and everything before any adjustments. Staff is really prompt with responses/scheduling. Wishing parking was validated, but that’s my greed.

This was my first time working with a chiropractor especially after sustaining a back injury at work and I truly appreciate Dr. Beaker’s professionalism. I admit to being scared to undergo this experience but I have been eager to recover and return to work as 3 months of physical therapy and one month of acupuncture hasn’t brought me to 100% working condition yet. Dr. Becker has a calm demeanor and took the time to explain the process as well as demonstrate his actions before following through. After 5 sessions of adjustments I felt a huge difference mobility and decrease in pain. I hope to return to work very soon.

For a month and a half before I visited Dr. Becker I was struggling with chronic nerve pain in my upper back and arm. I went through several rounds of medical doctors and specialists who could not tell me what was happening and would only prescribe me pills to "manage the pain". The pain and weakness in my hands disrupted my work and prevented me from doing a lot of things I enjoyed like taking my telescope out for astrophotography. A friend recommended that I see Dr. Becker and I am astonished at the progress I made after just one treatment. It is just one week since my first adjustment I am already 85% back to normal after having suffered six weeks! Yesterday I went in for a 2nd adjustment and Dr. Becker adjusted me and provided great guidance on things I can do at home to mitigate my issue from happening again. What impressed me the most is that after the 2nd adjustment he said I shouldn't require any more adjustments. Other practices tried to reel me into long term costly commitments to their "programs," but not Dr. Becker! He identifies what needs to be taken care of, takes care of it, and let you know how to keep it moving! I'm confidently planning a darksky outing with my telescope for next week. I couldn’t sit through a movie in the theater (even in the plush premium seats) without shifting from side to side to alleviate the pain. I went to Dr Becker in absolute agony not being able to walk and being layed up for three days. I came in on crutches in level 10 pain and he got me back on my feet walking within hours of his services. God Bless his incredible gift helping people out of insane pain. Becker because on I fell on hardwood floors and landed on my tailbone as it hit the edge of the stair nosing. I have been in pain and limping limping for over one year. I was running out of Drs. to go to as I tried spine specialists, x-rays, MRIs, acupuncture, chiropractors, shock wave machines, physical therapy, light swimming, light yoga, massage etc. etc. the spine dr. told me it would be something I would need to learn to live with. I have had hip pain on/off since 2015 because of strenuous exercise (HIIT/cycle/pilates). Got referred to Dr. Becker and decided to come see him- also because I was feeling immense hip pain for 4 days because of cycling. Dr. Becker is very accessible and flexible! He was able to see me within a day or two of contacting him for my back pain that I got from over-exertion. He was very efficient during the visit and did as much as he could to fix me then and there. He left it up to me to make another appointment if I needed it. He also didn’t try to get me to buy anything or force me to write a positive review for him which was something other chiropractors did in my experience. Please read this review!! On Wednesday, February 24th I woke up with an extremely tight, sore and painful neck. Within a few hours the pain was getting exponentially worse to the point that it felt like an ice pick was being stabbed on the left side of my neck. My neck muscles were almost locked in place no matter what I did the stabbing pain would not go away. I was not able to sleep. The pain then shifted to the right side of my neck but not the stabbing pain. Tylenol did not make a "dent" and Thursday the same agony again was not able to sleep. I found Dr. Steven Becker by doing a google search and found him by typing the "best Chiropractor in Los Angeles" as I was desperate for some kind of relief from the pain. I am a male, 70 years old and weigh about 230 pounds on 6 1' frame. I have a very high tolerance for pain, just lucky that way. Mercifully on Friday February 26th Dr. Becker was able to see me. Immediately after the visit the stabbing began to subside however I was not able to turn my head either to the right or left without having to grimace in pain but the stabbing was almost gone. Later that evening I was able to fall asleep. The following day a marked improvement with little pain and more head movement to the right and left. The third day was miraculous as 90% of the pain was gone. I wanted to purposely wait for some time to go by before I wrote this review because I was concerned I might have a "relapse". After almost a month I am totally pain free and have normal movement. I have never written a review for anyone in the medical profession. I’ve been dealing with migraines since i was 14 and they were just getting worse and worse. After 4 years of constant back pain from my job as an EMT, I had started to lose hope on finding a solution. One visit with Dr. Becker has changed my life. He truly cares for the well-being of his patients and performs a thorough examination prior to performing any adjustments. As a 23 year old woman, my pain and discomfort has been minimized and played down by doctors on more than one occasion. I went to see Dr. Becker for an issue I was having with my lower back. What I loved about him, was that he quickly assessed the problem, adjusted me thoroughly and then showed me few things that I can do on my own. He was honest and didn't push any unnecessary treatments or memberships like some other places that I have been to. The pain went away in 3 days and have been pain free since. My experience working with Dr. Becker was amazing! I had been having excruciating tailbone pain for the past year and was unable to sit and do many things involving sitting, greatly impacting my life, and saw many chiropractors who couldn't help or didnt address the issue and one visit/tailbone adjustment with Dr. Becker actually completely fixed the issue and Im able to fully participate in life again! Having suffered a concussion and subsequent neck injury, I was using several types of treatment in my healing. I began seeing Dr Becker several months after the accident, and I believe that his treatment was the most effective in regaining the range of motion in my neck and upper back. Dr Becker took a whole body approach to treating my injury, and in doing so, not only did my neck feel so much better after just a couple of treatments, so did several long-standing aches which had previously been ineffectively treated by other chiropractors. I fell down the stairs and injured my tailbone, I saw several other doctors that were unable to do anything for my injury. I was in so much pain until I found Dr. Becker. He is a wonderful chiropractor & specializes in tailbone injuries. Just after one visit I already feel extremely better! He was so gentle and I have never experienced such wonderful bed side manners. My experience with Dr. Becker was great! With it being my first time visiting a chiropractor, he was patient and very thorough when communicating his methods. I felt at ease... which is why I came back twice since that initial visit.
