After going to Abram Zion institute and having Dr Abram a joke of a Dr spend under 5 minutes and misdiagnose me saying my eyes are fine; Dr.Hansen is top notch. He spent a long time checking my eyes when I voiced my concerns. He is one of the few good Dr’s in this town. I got my prescription for glasses and he took time to explain things. Very professional explained everything that was done during my visit

I can only speak to my experience. I was seen by a Dr Stewart...nice, quiet, professional. Then I was seen by Dr Eisenberg because apparently my eyes have dramatically changed in 2 and a half years. At first I thought he was nice..and he is...but he did little to explain my condition, dismissed my questions with little to no answer as if Im too dimwitted to comprehend a minutiae of medical information. During my initial exam one of the assistants thought it prudent to whisper 2 feet infront of me, about me. After a few days I discovered a medication interaction that could be contributing to my condition, when I called to ask the Dr to call or to consider the affect of my medication I was laughed at and told, oh Dr Eisenberg doesnt take phone calls, you have to schedule another appointment ($25a pop) if you dont want the surgery just cancel it .bye" Needless to say, Im not trusting my eyes to anyone here. Oh...3 weeks after appt still haven't heard a peep from referral department regarding this surgery I needed immediately. I can only speak to my experience. I'm a new patient of Dr Steven Hansen and I'm pleased to say he did an amazing job on my eyes. He assured me that the surgery is pretty simple and recovery depends on the individual. Some can see better the next day and he was right. My left eye took a little bit to heal but my right eye healed much faster. I can see clear the 3rd day. My sincere appreciation to Dr Steven Hansen for giving me my sight back. I recommend him to anyone who's looking for an eye surgeon.

There is no reason why an eye appointment should take longer than an hour.... Sitting in this place for 4 hours is rediclous.. I have been a patient of Dr Hansen since 2007. I have been thru so many eye problems and he's been there right beside me. In my opinion, there is no other doctor quite like him. Extremely intelligent, companionate, and will not stop trying to find a solution to your eye problem, whatever it may be.

I could not be more satisfied with the results of my cataract surgery and lens implants performed by Dr. Hansen.

I am very disappointed with the cataract surgery preformed by Dr. Hansen. I paid $500., to have lens implants, (Medicare would not pay for implants.,) This surgery took place February and March 2017. I am unable to see without several different kind of eye glasses. I am extremely disappointed, and unhappy. My eyes hurt, if I am on the computer for more than five minutes. I went into this with such high hopes, recommended by a close friend of Dr. John Shepherd.
