My wife and I have been long time patients of Kornhaber Dental Group in Port Washington. The doctors, their assistants and the staff made us always feel welcome and comfortable. The dental work has been always professionally executed, with the minimum discomfort possible. I went for a check up and cleaning. I met with Allana the hygienist, she was a delight. I was greeted and at the front desk and to my delight I didn’t wait. I was in the chair within 2 minutes. No down time. A wonderful experience.

Dr. Steven Kornhaber is great, always cordial and polite and a top notch dentist. Alana who does my xrays and cleaning is extremely thorough. She's also polite and cordial and very professional. Makes you feel right at home and puts you at ease, and she has a gentle touch, no discomfort at all. I've been patient for many years, everyone at the front desk are always wonderful and a pleasure to deal with.

Everyone at this office is caring and dedicated to doing their work in a professional manner. They care about you as a person as well as a patient. In all of the years I have been going there they have gone out of their way to accommodate me and my family in our care both scheduled and in an emergency. They feel more like friends or family rather than the “dentist”.

I've been cared for by the Korhaber family for many years. From my experience they are tops both as proficient dentists and as human beings. I brought my mother to them when she was 104 years old, and needed 5 teeth pulled and a new bridge. They planned to remove the teeth over a few visits. Mich came out after the first tooth was pulled to tell me she's doing well and is willing to remove another, do I approve? My mother was treated so gently she had all 5 teeth pulled, and never experienced the dry socket after affects she had dealt with all her life. They, and their entire staff are excellent at what they do, and you quickly learn that they are concerned about your comfort and the best result possible.

Drs. Steven & Mitchell are Dentists of the highest quality. If I need an emergency appointment they always are able to accommodate. Recently I had a problem with a chipped tooth and was given an appointment same day. Extremely efficient, caring and the most professional service, weather for a check up or any dental work needed. The team is also of the highest quality. Everyone is a pleasure at every visit !!

As a patient for 20+ years, I can honestly say this practice has always provided care to me and my four children with professionalism, compassion, patience and excellent knowledge and skill. My children have been patients since they all were three years old and they are always happy to see Drs. Steven and Mitch Kornhaber. They are very personable and always make you feel comfortable. I originally went to Dr. Mitch Kornhaber to fix an issue I had from another dental office. He saw me right away. He was very gentle, careful and had great chair side manners. He could tell I needed a little more time to decide if I needed further work and he was very accommodating and saw me again and listened to my concerns, he wanted to make sure I was happy and took his time. I have to admit I am smiling more, I feel more confident and I even left him a little thank you note because he came to my rescue when I was self conscious about my smile. Its funny how things work out while I was in the office Ancel was friendly and informed me I was due for a cleaning. I was assigned to Natasha and that is where my impression of the office went to another level. I have to admit I may sound like a cheerleader but she is the absolute best hygienist I've ever had. You can tell she cares about your oral care. She gave me so many helpful hints and tips on what I can do to have a better check up the next time I see her. She would talk to me to keep me at ease (I have a fear of the dentist), she didn't mind giving me more topical anesthesia if a spot was sensitive and I swear she did such a good job that I actually asked for my second apt to be moved up because only half a mouth can be done at a time. After my first cleaning Dr. Kornhaber went over my xrays and check up and talked to me about where I needed to improve. I was truly blown away how this office works as a team. Just an fyi - yes her tips worked because my check up this Saturday showed improvement from my previous visit. She is truly a gem, down to earth, funny, caring and relatable. She is a keeper!!. Would highly recommend and will continue to be a patient. I can truly see a HUGE difference of professionalism and overall dental care from the previous office I went to.

Cracked a tooth. Needed a crown. Had an appt. the very next day. Temporary for three weeks, permanent in place in 30 minutes with no numbing necessary. Dr. Kornhaber is kind, very funny and a fabulous dentist!
