One of the best doctors I have had the privilege to know. He helped my wife with an extremely difficult situation, that most doctors wouldn't even consider treating. Caring and thoughtful is such a blessing in the world of healthcare these days!

Years ago on Christmas Eve Dr Mardjetco did my daughters scoliosis surgery. He himself had a spinal fusion the same day right after my daughters surgery. The next morning at 7AM he is MAKING ROUNDS in a hospital gown making sure all of his patients are well. Her surgery was a complete success. If that doesn't tell you what an amazing man he is nothing will.

Dr. Steven Mardjetko one of the leading Doctors in his field. Competent, knowledgeable, Courteous, always takes time to explain details, while allowing patients to ask questions. He answers until the patient understand their health issues. He is innovative, and gets the greatest outcome for his patients. He settles for nothing less

Our experience here has been a great one! Dr. Mardjetko is and excellent surgeon, and Did a phenomenal job on my daughters back surgery. She has scoliosis and he fixed her curve close to perfect, it’s no longer visible! Thanks so much!

Wish I could give him a zero star, he was so unprofessional, TERRIBLE bedside manners. He was so rude to me, in front of my husband and didn’t have the decency to shut the patients door, everyone in the hallway hear how he was yelling at me. Didn’t have any sympathy for my pain, and DIDNT do anything for my pain/no surgery. Stay away.

Dr. Mardjetko is my angel from God. I had severe spondylolisthesis at the age of 15. It was so severe I had to get pulled out of school to have an emergency surgery. I have had 5 total surgeries, all done by him on my back. My first surgery was 9 hours. 14 years later, 6 screws in my back and you could never tell I have had 5 back surgeries and at one point unable to walk.I have given birth and had an epidural and I am still okay. He is extraordinary! He is beyond amazing and I trust him with my life. I will never be able to repay him with the miracle he did in my life. His NP Nadine is just as amazing. I was a patient of Dr Mardjetko in st louis mo at the spine center.I was having pain in ribs,shoulder blade arm and neck.My job required heavy lifting.He did an mri and I went to see him .1 week later. told me I had a bulge disc in my neck.He also had a Dr in training in the room he said you have a fracture in you r vertebrae .Dr M said no there something wrong with the mri machine sent me to physical therapy. They were able to get us in quickly. Dr. Mardjetko seemed very knowledgeable and able to prescribe a brace for my son with scoliosis.

Dr Mardjetko is an amazing surgeon .. when it comes to trusting your child’s fate and body and the result is amazing then the only thing you could do is .. bow to Dr Mardjetko .. he didn’t pamper us , yes we waited a little bit for our appointments but the only thing that really matters is the result . Awful experience. Was rushed through appt because I did not need surgery. Ordered multiple tests and then didn’t review any with my wife and I. He point blank stated he was a surgeon and I can live with the pain. I had to find a pain doctor on my own who gave me an injection in my back which helped tremendously . I was not looking for surgery, just advice from the expert, which apparently he is not. Very abrupt and rude. Don’t waste your time.

First of all, always very behind with appointment time, when he come to see patient in rush always very quickly and bad behavior and slammed the door when you asked the questions about pain

My son had a serious injury to left leg and arm. We spent 10 days in hospital. I could not be happier with Dr. Mardjetko. He was wonderful to my son, very informative, great doctor!!!!! A+ in every aspect!!

I was in a motor vehicle accident and every doctor (and there were quite a few) except Dr. Mardjetko, counted me out. If I didn’t have him, I would be six feet under now. He did six or more surgeries on my neck, which was broken in two places, and my entire spine. I’m in a wheelchair now, but it sure beats not being here. My 6 year old son recently experienced a very bad arm break after a freak fall in our backyard. Dr. Mardjetko was thankfully able to complete emergency surgery on him in the early morning hour of what I am sure was the end of a long day for his staff. Dr. Mardjetko instantly put me at ease, and was great at explaining the procedure and the risks in terms I could understand. He came himself to get me in the waiting room after the successful surgery. Thankful to have this shining star during a difficult day for my family.

He meets you for 5 minutes and then runs out of the room after yelling at you. Horrible bed side manners.

Great doctor, but is constantly overbooked and never on schedule. Always waiting more than an hour past appointment time just to get a room.

Dr. Mardjetko and his staff are wonderful. I had to very difficult back surgery three years ago to correct severe scoliosis. The surgery went great and even though it was a tough recovery for me, I truly appreciated the care that Dr. Mardjetko and his staff gave to me along the way!

I was a patient of his at Shriners. From when i was about 8 months old till about 12 years old. I am now 26, and the operations performed by him saved my life. My spine had a 98 degree curve by time i was 2 years old and i now sit up straight tall and proud. Im now the first in my family with a 4 year college degree and live a very fulfilling life. Im thankful for him.

Steve has operated on me decades ago and my back has held up well over a long period. He is a master of his craft.

Dr Mardjetcko was amazing in calming our fears after a horrible accident. He repaired the many broken bones. Excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner.

Although Dr .Mardjetko is very busy he always takes the time to explain my situation. His assecment on a routine follow up discovered a.dangerous situation before it became overtly symptomatic. If you have a complex spinal situation i would recommend Dr.Mardjetko!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mardjetko's for years. After an accident, I was left with extreme back pain that became so severe I could not even finish school. After many visits to various Physicians, I was then referred to Dr. Mardjetko. He and his staff changed my life. Because of his surgical expertise and excellent care, he made it possible for me to serve in The U.S. Military. He is in my opinion the most compassionate and knowledgable expert in his field.

I waited for 2 1/2 hours to see this doctor for my back pain which he could see on the X-ray is severe. He came in and talked to me for 7 minutes. What a joke.
