Dr. North was my OB-GYN for all three pregnancies. My oldest is now 18, and I completely recommend him as my experiences with each baby we’re great. He has great bedside manner, is attentive and nurturing during delivery and always greeted me with a smile. He truly cares about his patients and the babies. 10/10 recommend him & his staff. Dr. North is without question the best ob/gyn I’ve seen, and I’ve seen more than my share. He takes the time to explain everything, without making you feel like he’s in a rush to move on to the next patient. So glad I found him. I’ve had doctors who were highly skilled, and doctors who were kind, but to find a doctor who is both? Beyond rare!

He didn’t know anything about anti-vgkc antibody (which was very unsettling considering if paraneoplastic, is either breast or ovary cancer - connected). He didn’t want to discuss the recent miscarriage or my comment about my previous internist diagnosing APS, etc. He was more than ready to get through my appointment; because of the neurological issues (causing strange behavior, seizure activity and atrial fibrillation during sleep causing my days to be neurologically- challenging as well) I was having (associated w/this serious Antibody that affects women mainly, unless the etiology is infectious, etc). A year later I am still trying to get doctors in Roswell to stop insisting on mammograms/ultrasounds and consultations locally and start helping me see more equipped clinics and doctors in Albuquerque. For basic care, Dr. North is great, but if you are dealing with female issues that are rheumatic, neurological or infectious based ... you need to seek care from out of town/state. I am currently in the process of working w/specialists in Dallas, Texas (Dr. Vernino: neurologist who treats anti-vgkc), Austin, TX (Dr. Gallinghouse w/Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia) and waiting on appointments to be scheduled w/the referral my Dr. Jennifer May (under Dr. Mark Andrews at Roswell Medical Clinic) for Dr. Linda Smith and the Breast Imaging Center in Albuquerque, NM. Due to my first pregnancy being such a horrible experience in carlsbad I was terrified to find an ob for my second and decided to go to Roswell where I found Dr. North I am so happy after my first visit he and his entire team and everyone at the office was incredible and put all my fears at rest

Terrible experience! I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I was unable to get an appt before my 10th week ( despite my age of 38.) When i attended my first appt the ultrasound tech was quiet. I could tell something was wrong since the sonogram did not appear the same as my first kids. She told me my baby doesnt have a heartbeat. My eyes just began to fill with tears. Once arriving in Dr. North office he seemed desensitized to miscarriages stating him and his wife had multiple ones before conceiving their 4th kid. I asked for a treatment plan and what to expect. I had to insist on another ultrasound to be sure everything was removed during miscarriage. He said “ im sure everyone is out.” Again I insisted-he brought me in and finds the baby was still in uterus. I asked for hormone, thyroid- blood sample as my close relatives have hypothyroidism. He says to stop reading the internet. I was so mad- im educated and im asking for a recovery plan to try again. I performed my own care there!

Dr. North was not my OB through pregnancy, but he was on call when I delivered. He was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I both felt that my baby and I were safe and could trust him as a doctor. His presence made the delivery room atmosphere very relaxed and positive. He was very attentive to all of my needs and concerns as well. Tried making appointment never got through waited over an hour was only able to leave voice mail for one. Cannot get through an I am high risk pregnancy.

Dr. North and his staff are wonderful. Yes, they are crazy busy, but when they have you in front of them, you are priority. Dr. North is easy to talk to, I am very comfortable around him. I had a high risk pregnancy, and he was wonderful during the entire process. Even complimented my pedicure! Wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner. Very trustworthy and kind. He is never rushing out the door and always makes time to answer any questions I may have. His staff is excellent as well.
