13 YEARS AGO, I WAS SENT TO DR. STEVE PLAXE AFTER BEING MISDIAGNOSED BY 9 PHYSICIANS OVER A 6 MONTH PERIOD. The greatest and most caring physician on the planet! Helped me through the most difficult time of my life! Took care of my wife from 1996 until 1997 when she passed. I have never met a Dr. who cared more about his patients and their family. Thank you Dr. Plaxe.

Awful Doctor. Gave one star because I had to. Do not trust this man.

Amazing doctor! Very professional and straight to the point. He was my dr and surgeon and now I feel better, pain free and healing nicely! Very thankful I was his patient!

I came at UCSD from excellent GW Hospital because of Dr. Steven Charles Plaxe reputation. Excellent doctor! He serves his patients with his high quality knowledge and experience! I won’t be the person who I am know fighting cancer with knowledge and high spirit. I am not afraid because I trust Dr. Plaxe. Thank you Dr. Plaxe and all his team for endless hours spent to save human lives.

I'm shocked by reading the other reviews. He was a bit blunt with the answers to my questions at my first consultation but working in the medical field I find that most good surgeons do not always have the best bedside manner. All his answers were confirmed with another surgeon at a second opinion so I went forward with him as my surgeon. I could not have been happier. He continues to prove to be a good doctor for me and his staff in the desert as well as in La Jolla are all fantastic!

I am alive today 16 years later after an aggressive form of adenocarcinoma of the cervix that had metastasized. Thanks to his unfaltering and undying dedication to his profession. He was my Angel.

I can not believe this guy still has a medial license.

To the People who wrote those terrible reviews about dr. Plaxe I would not be alive today if it was not for dr. Plaxe I would not be alive today if it was not for dr. Plaxe he is a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Plaxe is untrustworthy and the worst doctor I have ever been to. He is pompous beyond belief. He doesn't care for his patients. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. He caused my healthy daughter to become quite ill and caused our family hardship and heartache. Fortunately a team of competent doctors was able to save her but no thanks to Dr. Plaxe. I don't know where he got his high ratings.

He was the worst doctor I have ever seen. I was mis-diagnosed with a deadly form of cancer, LMS. I found out by googling my pathology results. He did nothing to help me. As a matter of fact, I recorded him saying it wasn't his job.
