Dr Simon was recommended to my parents by their friends in senior living. They said he's a traditional clinician and is not there just to sell botox injections. Good, we thought, because my parents are 80-somethings with medical issues not beauty worries. They said the office is in a building with an entrance ramp and elevator, and a parking lot with handicapped spaces. Great, we thought, since both my parents need their walkers. But OMG the restroom situation! Patients are allowed to use one single tiny restroom in the waiting area and it's too small to accommodate a walker or wheelchair. There's no grasp bar on the wall that would help a disabled person to get on/off the toilet. My parents had major issues just trying to pee. So heads-up to people with a disability, THIS OFFICE IS NOT ADA COMPLIANT. Oh, and yes our WAIT TIME WAS ABOUT 2 HOURS after appointment time. And the desk staff demanded my parents' SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS in addition to all their insurance information or the doctor wouldn't see them. Dr Simon turned out to be a very nice man who's almost as elderly as my parents, which to us means experience. We were satisfied with his services and since he already has our SSNs we would see him again if any of his other office locations are 100% handicapped-accessible. I have been coming to Dr Simon for years and he is so knowledgeable and kind. My young daughter observed him treating me and now she wants to be a Dermatologist when she grows up just like him.

I got here at 12:15 for my appointment at 12:30. It's now 2:00 and still waiting ????

I had an appt with Dr. Simon this past Saturday and cannot understand why all the negative reviews? I walked in & was greeted very professionally by the young woman sitting at the front desk. My wait time was only abut 10 minutes. Once inside, Dr Simon examined me & took the time to explain to me what my issue was, gave me some samples and put my mind at ease. I had an appt with Dr. Simon this past Saturday and cannot understand why all the negative reviews? I walked in & was greeted very professionally by the young woman sitting at the front desk. My wait time was only abut 10 minutes. Once inside, Dr Simon examined me & took the time to explain to me what my issue was, gave me some samples and put my mind at ease. I have a follow up with him in 4 weeks. Nothing but a positive review here

I should have read some of the reviews before taking my son to this doctor. The staff is rude and getting answers to simple questions are impossible, all they care about is money and there co-pays. No care for the patient what's so ever. Trust me, find another doctor.

After reading the horrible reviews, I am just amazed this doctor is still practicing. I saw him about 4 yrs ago. I wanted some skin tags removed from my neck. He used electrocautery to remove them He didn't bother to numb the area. It was extremely painful. I practically had to beg him to numb the area. He also told me that he couldn't take my insurance as it was considered cosmetic. I was surprised because the other doctor did take my insurance. When I went to check out, they informed me That the fee was $350 and I had to pay it now. They were very nasty. I told them I didn't ha e my checkbook and I didn't have my credit card They asked me to go home and get it. I was an hour away from my house. I told the. I would mail a check the next day which I did. After my skin healed, I still had the moles on my neck. THIS DR. SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING. HE IS BY FAR THE WORST DR I EVER WANT TO. A GREEDY SAVAGE. . Great Doctors and workers

I've been going to Dr Simon for years and the P.A my experience has always been great. Dr Simon and Mary have always been able to help me. The girls that run the office are amazing . Cat, Alexis and Mel has always been wonderful. All the girls in the office are super sweet and when I need appointment they always get me in!!!! Thank u ladies!!! I wish i could give this disgusting establishment no stars. The staff are rude and so full of themselves, and for what...i don't know. I didn't ever get to see the doctor, so i can't say much of anything about him personally. He needs to re-evaluate his whole staff. Get new staff!!!! A more diverse staff preferably.

Worse Dermatology service and worst Dermatologist ; Mary Ann Pelzer. i am even trying to sue her for malpractice and negligence, she had prescribed me an antibiotic gel ointment (metronidazole) for dermatitis located around my eyes. She stood super far away from me the whole time and mentioned a few things about dermatitis (general term) then quickly gave me a pamphlet and prescription. Rushing me out of my own PRE-PAID appointment. I start using the gel until I read the instructions and see in bold "DO NOT USE AROUND EYES" the skin around my eyes worsened so severely i had to stop... knowing that this creme was not meant to be used around the eyes but still prescribed it. The office staff do not want to talk to you or look at you. You are a hindrance to them. There are at least 5 signs on the window partition letting you know not to tap on the glass. They make sure to take your co-pay immediately, and I found out why, the hard way. I scheduled an appointment for a procedure I’ve had done several times in that office by a since departed doctor. My files were mysteriously missing. I made an appointment to have a benign cyst removed from my scalp. I waited an exorbitant amount of time (2 hours) to be told after literally one minute of an examination that I had to return for the procedure on another date since that appointment was being treated as a consultation. I informed the doctor that I didn’t need a consult and that I made the appointment to have it removed. I was livid and let the doctor know. He was surprised by my disappointment and anger. I was denied the reimbursement of my co-pay of $50 and I left without making another appointment. I needed a note for work since I took the day off, and when the awful front desk person handed me the letter she said “You’re welcome!” With an attitude. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I just had a wonderful experience with the office staff at this office. I had a major request and they were kind and courteous. They listened to the whole story and were very helpful to me. Thank you for putting a nervous mom's nerves at ease!!

Dr. Simon Steven is awesome, i was recommend by my primary care physician bc he noticed how terrible my face was the moment i sat in his office. i do not regret going, my face was burned really bad from chemical peel i did on my own and within a week of applying the cream he recommended everyone could see the difference and i feel very confident. You can't tell me nothing now !!! Thank you Dr. Steven you bring back my confidence and I'm very much happy. ???? Office is poorly run. Shame. Nice doctor but staff has to go!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. My appt was for 12pm and at 2pm I was still waiting in the waiting room. When I tried to speak to the staff they couldn’t be bothered and just said I was next to be called which was a lie because about three more people were called ahead of me and after waiting over two hours with an incredibly rude staff I walked out. I took off a day of work to make this appt and for nothing. If I could give no stars I would. Awful. I will be finding a new doctor for sure. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. Dr Simon is a really nice caring person. I have very fair Irish skin so I go get my annual skin check at the Kimball Street office. I just recommended my husband to get his skin checked with him. Really nice, helpful office staff also.

Dr Simon is amazing. His staff is wonderful. The wait can be a bit long at times, but seeing him is totally worth it. I always leave knowing that I'm in good hands. Thank you Doctor and staff!

April 18th, 2016 I called Dr. Simon office to ask a question about my prescription & the young lady who answered the phone was so rude it was unbelieveable. I've been a patient of Dr. Simon for a couple of years & I've never experienced this before. I work in health care & I never talk to my patients the way I was spoken to this morning. The front line staff are the ones who keep the patients coming back since they are the ones who come into contact with the patient first. I will not return.
