I have never had such a terrible experience with a medical office in my entire life. To begin with the doctor's office cancelled my first appointment and I had to reschedule for a later date. I arrived on time for my 8:30 appointment and was not seen by the nurse until 9:30 and Dr Nayer did not show up around 9:45!!!! He seemed competent enough but to show up so late for a scheduled appointment is not a great beginning for a new patient. Things went from bad to worse when they billed the insurance company incorrectly. To date I have been unable to get the Dr Nayer's office to bill my annual physical correctly so the insurance company will be for it. After speaking with the insurance company, the doctor's office, and the Martin Health System billing department numerous times with no results I have had to call the patient advocate group to try and resolve this problem. I am currently waiting to find out if they will be able to convince Martin Health System and Dr Nayer's office to bill my annual physical as an annual physical. To make matters worse, my husband went to see Dr. Nayer for his annual physical also as a new patient. He has run into exactly the same problems with tardiness, rudeness by office staff, and billing problems. Numerous phone calls later we are still unable to get the office visit billed correctly and we have a separate case started with the patient advocacy group to try and get this matter resolved.
