Very pleasant and professional

Unfortunately I’ve had several MOHS procedures. Dr. Walia and her team are remarkable. They are organized, efficient, compassionate. I trust them completely and some of my surgeries have been very complicated. I recommend her whole heartedly.

I had my first MOHS surgery a few days ago and it was a piece of cake. When I changed my bandage a few days later I found that it didn’t bleed a single drop of blood and needed very little cleaning. I followed the instructions for the new bandage and it came out great. The work was done on my cheek and it appears that the two inch incision should have minimal scarring. No pain medication needed. Relieved that the problem has been eliminated and l’m on the mend. A great job by Dr. Walia and her staff. I’m ready without a worry to return soon for the other MOHS that is needed. Dr Walia and her staff are amazing! They diagnosed and made a super quick appointment to have the procedure done. they are compitent and efficient.

I was taken in right away upon my arrival. I was treated politely and professionally. My surgery was pain free. I received instructions on what to do following my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Walks and her staff.

Dr. Walis is an excellent dermatology surgeon. Having the ability to examine the tissue samples on site is comforting to know you will not need to return for another visit. I hope I will not have any more skin cancer but if I do I’m headed to Dr.walis office.

After diagnosis’ and before surgery, I had the opportunity to visit another dermatologist ( out of Ochsner’s network) for an unrelated problem. When discussing the impending surgery, I mentioned Dr Walia’s name and got a glowing recommendation, as in “she’s very good”. I can not disagree. From start to finish Dr Walia and her staff were very friendly and informative on what was being done and what to expect next. I don’t look forward to any type of surgery but I can’t imagine what could have been done to make it any easier.

Dr. Walia and her staff were highly professional and soliciting. The procedure began promptly. Each advised what was occurring and why. I was quite pleased with the manner in which they performed.

Dr. Walia and her “team” were so pleasant,professional and caring, Just the word” Cancer” is stressful but their approach and attention to detail along with patients comfort is greatly appreciated.

This is my third surgery with Dr. Walia and in my opinion she is a great surgeon. She has put together a team that is extremely professional and very pleasant. Frankly I would not entertain going anywhere else for this type of surgery.

Dr. Walia and her assistant Roxie are very professional and respectful. They explained each step of the procedure, including details of self-care at home. The clinic space is comfortable. Monica at the front desk is a godsend as is the security person at the front door. I really appreciate how kind and caring everyone is. Thank you.

I was very concerned about the surgery until I met her and her team. Dr. Walia explained everything that was going to happen and talked me through it as she was doing the procedure. Her team did everything to make me at ease and well taken care of. If I have to have another Mohs surgery, I'm definitely going back to her, she was fantastic.

Only one problem. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment but it took 25 minutes to park.

I had Moh's surgery yesterday performed by Dr. Suneeta Walia and her staff for a squamous cell carcinoma on my face. I felt confident going into the procedure since Dr. Walia had performed a similar surgery on my nose about five years ago and did an excellent job then with no noticeable scarring. Yesterday's surgery was successful and the tumor was removed on the first try with no additional tissue removal required. I was in and out of surgery and back home within two hours! I am currently in the process of healing with no anticipated complications. I definitely recommend Ochsner and Dr. Walia and her staff for anyone requiring Moh's surgery in the near future. I've had 5 skin surgeries of this type performed in the last two years, all in Los Angeles and I thought my doctor and his team there did a great job, but this last one being performed by Dr. Walia really highlighted the fact that as great as a doctor and team can be, they can always be better. Dr. Walia and her team really pushed the boundaries to make me feel truly the most comfortable I've felt through one of these procedures. Everyone, and I mean everyone involved was incredible. From the doctor and her staff to the person that originally called me and scheduled my appointment, and then, at my request, kept me in mind and took the time to call me a day later to tell me there had been a cancellation and my procedure could be scheduled for the next day, instead of three weeks down the line as originally scheduled. The facility is also very nice and clean, with state of the art equipment and a comfortable waiting area with nice and clean private bathrooms. The procedure requires you to wait in between processes, so hey offer complimentary coffee and WiFi. Dr. Walla was very knowledgable about my diagnosis and explained every step in the surgery. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and makes you feel comfortable and confident in the treatment she will provide. She and her staff work together to provide a high level of care while caring for you as a person not just a diagnosis, from the time you enter the treatment room to the time you leave. I feel very blessed to have come under the care of this physician.
