Dr. Suresh J Antony

Not good at all... terrible

A very friendly & efficient front desk staff. Dr. Antony is an excellent physician with ample experience in his field; his friendly demeanor is admirable.

I would give him a negative score if possible. This Quack and his crony Dr. Michael Annaba almost killed me when I was under their care at the hospital. Thank God I got out and went to a hospital and Great Doctors that saved my life, and even after this he still has the audacity to want to charge me. Don’t mess with this so called Doctor. If you need a great infectious disease Doctor reach out to the head of infectious disease at UMC.

Although the doctor may be excellent at what he does his staff is untrained in how to make and confirm an appointment. I was charged for a no show $25 when I was still in the hospital and didn't know about the appointment call/message on my home phone until I was discharged. It is a shame that they do not confirm verbally any appointment they schedule (not me) and do not follow up if I am stil alive to go. I hope I never have him as a doctor in the future because of his untrained staff.

I was referred to Dr Antony, for Toe infection after a surgery Nov 2018, he prescribed Iv antibiotics home care with additional meds in a couple of days looked & felt better & especially felt a big relieve to know It was getting well, I was very worried, Dr. Assured me, Don't worry its going to be alright, Thank you Dr., Receptionist & Nurses. Dr. Antony is an excellent, too the point doctor. He was very concerned with my infection and took it head on, resulting in a complete healing of a very serious MSSA infection. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a professional Infectious disease Doctor.

Schedule early in the morning as possible as parking is tight. Dr. Antony is an elcellent, too the point doctor. I got along with him just fine and appreciated his concern about my infection and how he took it head on, resulting in a quick recovery to a serious infection. Don't let anyone talk you out of seeing this excellent Doctor.

Staff is incompetent and doctor only works a few hours. You’re best off with a better doctor

Please avoid this doctor at all cost. Over 10 years ago, I met with him to discuss a then upcoming July trip to Peru. It was the dry season there, yet he proceeded to over-prescribe anti-Malaria medication, whose side effects nearly ruined the whole experience (not to mention made me have suicidal thoughts). Most recently, he suggested a family member would be fine traveling to Kenya without having the yellow fever vaccine, simply because it is hard to find in the US. Excuse me Dr. Suresh, but have you not read any websites (WHO, CDC, US State Department) or spoken to other doctors? All recommend (or require) the yellow fever vaccination. I have been a patient of Dr. Antony's for several years. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Antony and the care I receive at his clinic. I see him twice a year and he, as well as his staff, always remember who I am and details of my past appointments. I do believe the clinic is a bit small and understaffed but considering the care I receive and how much the office works with me it is definitely a small price to pay. Alice has always been very helpful and considerate in scheduling my appointments and facilitating refills on my medication. I hope to see Dr. Antony as long as he is practicing! I have never been so disgusted by the treatment coming from any physician's office as I was by Dr. Suresh'personnel. Not only were they nothing short of vulgar but inefficient and displayed atrocious bedside manners. Their attitude and behavior is of total disregard to any patient's health or care.

This is by far the worst experience I have had at a physician's office. They treated my father, the patient, with complete disregard of his well being and behaved in an atrocious manner that fell nothing short of vulgar. His office personnel was not only inefficient in retrieving his insurance information but failed in communication. When I contacted the office manner, Dr. Suresh's wife, she repeatedly stated that her and Dr. Suresh had nothing to do with office personnel'behavior.

His staff was lazy about getting our referral. Alice said that she was put on hold for too long and did not want to wait to get the referral. She did not call us to let us know that she could not get the referral. So the day of our appointment, we could not be seen because of her irresponsibility and lack of care about her job. She was unwilling to be helpful and was even condescending. She said we were taking up her time and would have to hang up with us now. DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH DR. ANTONY!!!!
