Horrible! Uninterested, condescending, misread MRI- did not care about my pain 24/7 basically said I should not have any issues but did find large cyst in my back- gee could that be pressing on nerves? Rude did not care to listen. Begrudgingly gave script for PT- as if she pays my insurance. Husband was aghast at her rudeness. Burned out already and uninterested if they cannot prescribe surgery or expensive products.
Total waste of time and money. Cold, uncaring, condescending to this senior. She did not care to investigate my injury or offer any solutions. Her curt "so what do you want from me" was RUDE. When I asked for PT to get out of the wheelchair she acted as if there was no reason fore me to be in it and that I can just do some exercises at home- which I have been doing. When asked why my foot is swelling and I have severe level 8 pain 24/7 and that my life is reduced to pain management with ice packs and lack of sleep; I have no quality of life- she could care less- told me to go see my own doctor for that. I was referred here by my doctor. My husband was with me and absolutely aghast at her unprofessional demeanor and lack of care and concern. Now I have to make another appointment with another doctor. I got script for PT- was like pulling teeth- but she doesn't care to do follow up so why bother with her- no interest in my well being or future.

9/11/18 Dr. Susan Weir is by far one of the most warm, professional and thorough physicians I have ever encountered. Explanations of my condition, my physical therapy, treatment and follow up were all of the highest quality. I always left the office feeling educated as well as physically better than the prior visit . Dr Weir's office staff also reflects her commitment for excellence. I have been a patient of hers since she started practicing medicine in Royal Oak, I have had a myriad of doctors over the years and she is a first class act. I have cerebral palsy, charcot marie tooth disease and spinal injury and issues such as arthritis and neuropathy . Dr Weir over the years almost 20 has kept me mobile and independent. She is an angel with a medical degree. She listens to me which I appreciate and is very caring a rare quality in doctors. I see a dozen doctors for various reasons and she is my "go to" doctor when I need fixed. Dr. Weir is an exceptional physician. She explained my options, and also what could be expected, giving me confidence in decision-making. It is definitely worth the drive, in my case, to be under her care.
