Dr. Susan G Woods

Scheduling was very rude when I asked am insurance question. The office is dirty. The dr was very short with my concerns and walked out of the room while I was talking about my concerns with my skin. Told me the spot on my nose looked terrible. Check out was so awful too I just left. The dr told me she also didn’t have time to do any procedures really at any time. Don’t waste your time with this lady or staff they all are terrible! I don’t know how this place is operating.

If I could rate this place 0 stars because of their front office staff I would. I would like to tell you how the doctor is but I would not allow myself or family to deal with the staff in order to get to her. They are rude and ignorant. In a time where health care is so important and compassion should be at the forefront, they definitely are lacking in what is important. She found a spot of cancer that other dermatologists didn't. She cared for my sister too. I also had another visit where I had a skin problem and she told me it was something in the environment and she was 100% right. Very caring and very good doctor.

Worst appointment ever i left more confused than when I came. You tell me to stop using the creams I’ve been using for my eczema but dnt prescribe me anything else

Very very disappointing experience.Waited over an hr in the waiting room,when she entered there was no greeting,just looking at the chart.Did not answer any of our questions and literally walked out before saying goodbye or asking if we has questions.Gave her 3 chances/visits...WILL NOT BE BACK

Worst experience ever. I was recommended by my doctor, and when I went to the appointment, I heard from the waiting room, dr. S, sent someone over for hair loss. There was another comment, then laughter. I was called back and asked to fill out a form. While filling out the form a women enters the room, never introduced herself, saw that I was still working on form, tapped me on my leg and said she will be back. She then came back with an associate, asked some questions then diagnosed me. I had to ask her if she wanted to see the problem area. As she was talking to me she keep laughing as if she was nervous. I didn’t feel like she cared about my problem. Her office staff is just as rude. Associate dropped me off at front desk and explained what I need to do as she walked away. I could hear her because her back was to me. I called to check on my appointment and girl who answered stated it was schedule today. I never received a call to remind me of appointment. i absolutely love dr.susan woods , i have acne for over about two years and within a couple of months it was gone . also the desk people are very nice , they are friendly as well . i absolutely love this office . i recommend it for everyone. she is so friendly and funny .

Dr. Woods was delightful and solved my problem. She found the cause of my rash where another dermatologist's physician assistant had no idea what was going on. I highly recommend her!

Did not check on networks doing lab work. Used out of net work lab. Five dollar copay cost two hundred sixty six dollars. Make sure everything you do is in net work. Receptionist very rood to the problem.

Worst dermatologist i’ve been to in a long time. I’ve told her many times certain prescriptions do not work for me, and she still prescribes me the same ones. Does not care at all about her patients.

Came in to get rid of milia, including one on my face for 5 months. Was told it was a whitehead, laughed at by her for using "old lady products" for my face, and was prescribed acne medicine from a 3rd party pharmacy that costed an arm and a leg. Saw a new dermatologist and the milia on my face (8 months now) was removed. Felt like she used my age against me and declared everything acne so I would have to buy product which she probably get s a portion of. Office staff: I have never been reminded of an appointment. If you miss an appointment there is no charge. It could take as long as 6 months, or longer, to secure an appointment. Usually, there is a long wait in the office before you are serviced. Dr. Woods: I received a different prognosis, for the same condition, on two visits. Another time she said if she did a procedure I would need to have stitches. I went to a dermatologist in Boardman. The procedure was done; no stitches needed. On the other hand, she is skillful and has never botched a job. I wish she was more talkative. She is all business, like going for an oil change. i was reading reviews about here and everyone said the front desk was mean. i personally had a great experience here. everyone was nice and the main doctor (susan) is a great doctor! made a great diagnosis and helped me through bad skin! i had a great experience there!

Terrible! I had a procedure of having two moles removed. One in my check slightly under my eye and another on my neck. Dr Woods came in to do the procedure and doesn’t even say hello. Her bedside manner is the worst. She barely said two words to me. She didn’t even tell me when she was giving me a shot in my cheek. No warning which made me jump. Same thing with my neck. The scar she left on my neck is bigger than what the mole was. When she was done she left with giving me any instruction or even saying goodbye. I will never return to her poor service again

I went for my first visit .I wanted to get a full body scan & wanted her to see if I needed to be treated in an area on my skin . She proceeded to walk in & just started exam and then without notice a nurse barges in to assist without introduction & as she walks in there was a man facing me out in the hall way & I’m only in a sheet. I was immediately uncomfortable. When she was checking my skin she started to make a ton of faces when she explains to me about the area and the pain that could be caused to treat the area . She described using a needle and I was saying how scared I was & she didn’t want to treat me that day nor did she confirm that I had anything to treat. She left & had me schedule on a treatment day and I left in tears from the disgusting looks she made. I went to 2nd opinion &was told within 5 min that I had nothing to treat & there’s no need for needles for simple 10 min procedures . No reason Woods put me through that .She was very unprofessional . Never again!!!

This is my story! I went to another dermatology practice in Warren where I never saw the doctor. I saw an assistant for 4 years who diagnosed me with psoriasis. I kept getting sicker and sicker. Finally my family doctor sent me to Dr Woods for a second opinion. Thank goodness because she looked at my skin and said YOU HAVE LUPUS! She did a biopsy and it confirmed the diagnosis. I am now getting the correct treatment. Never go to practices where you don’t see a doctor!

My family and I will NEVER go back ! My disabled daughter developed alapecia and because her father and myself were past patients of Dr. Woods, they got us an appointment, rather quickly, as a new patient(for her). We arrived 15 minutes early for paperwork after both of us left work early and pulled our daughter out of school. Just to be rudely turned away @ the door. My daughter has Medical Mutual primary insurance, Anthem secondary insurance and because she is disabled, she has Care-source as a 3rd insurance. Apparently, even if the Care-source is not even entered into Dr. Woods computer system and we only listed her primary and secondary insurance, YOU ARE REFUSED SERVICE........ VERY RUDELY REFUSED. As if we are parasites and not worthy of this doctors services. If Care-source hasn't paid you in the past, that don't give you the right to refuse care to a patient that has 2 other insurances and the ability to pay for anything not covered. The people at scheduling desk are very rude and not accommodating. The people who do check out acted like I wasn't going to pay my bill because they don't accept debit/credit cards, they accept cash or check only. I didn't bring either with me. They need to make sure they tell patients that they don't accept cards instead of acting like I am poor and can't afford my bill even though I make more money than all of them combined. Also you make your appointment at a certain time and they make you wait in the waiting room for over an hour. I will be finding another dermatologist. The most knowledgeable doctor ever.

The Best Dermotologist and cosmetic surgeon that you are going to find. She has served a veteran very well by getting the job done right the very first time, every time. Her prices are very reasonable. Please don't listen to the bottom feeders who want cheese with their wine because they have lousy insurance and poor attitudes. They took my Medicare and Medicaid in the past with absolutely no problems or copays. The staff has been very friendly to me on Every visit. I saw a physicians assistant at another practice who MISSED 5 skin cancer on me. I went to Dr Woods and she fixed everything. It’s worth the wait to see a real doctor.

The people who answer the phones are the most unpleasant people I have ever spoken to. I’ve been trying to make an appointment since the summer and they just couldn’t care less about the people that actually are looking for a decent dermatologist.

Called to make appt. Was told since I had a primary and secondary insurance, secondary insurance being caresource she wouldn't see me at all since they can't get money from them. Pretty ignorant if you ask me considering I have anthem that they can bill them bill me personally for the left over charges! Very poor way to run a business

Unless it’s an emergency, getting your first appointment may not be as quick as you would like. Why? Because she is such a great doctor and is in demand. At times, she may adjust her schedule to keep up to date on the very latest technology. Waiting room time for me is always less than 15 minutes and for the next appointment I’m asked what day & time will be good for me. The staff is always very pleasant and courteous, treating me with respect. Many years ago Doctor Woods saved my life.

The front office lady was so rude I would not recommend going here to anyone. She discussed my insurance in front of the whole waiting room and argued about how I would pay for it. It was unprofessional and unnecessary.

I am a 10 year, if not more, patient of Dr Woods. I have ALWAYS received excellent care from her and her staff. Her staff has been with her for years and that says alot. I will continue my care with her and have referred friends and customers. I work in customer service and I have realized that sometimes you can't please everyone. Usually the one you can't please are the ones you don't want to come back. So remember that the next time you want to write a nasty review due to your impatience and ignorance. Try to put yourself in someone else's shoes and take a step back and look in the mirror. Took 3 months to get an appointment. Dr. Woods came in the room for about 2 minutes total, no exaggeration. She left without explaining anything or even saying she was done, just walked out. So odd. Felt like waste of time, as I learned nothing from her.

I have been going to Dr. Woods for years. Unfortunately I have had melanoma a few times but luckily she caught it in the early stages. I find her to be very diligent in my check ups and she has a great staff!

Absolutely awful! Took 3 months to get into see her. Waiting room time was a good 45 minutes then waited another 20 minutes in the examination room. She talked with my daughter and I for about 45 seconds and said she would be right back. 10 minutes later someone else came and handed us prescription. When we walked out of the room Dr Woods I saw her with another patient. The scripts were over $500 and she billed me $160. OTC acne meds are the way to go!

I've been a patient of Dr. Woods since I was about 12 years old I am now 28. She diagnosed me with vitiligo. She is a very caring and passionate doctor. Always telling me we're going to beat this even whenI cared less. I've been to so many different doctor for other reasons and none of them gives the effort she does she actually cares which is nice. I highly recommend Dr. Woods. Scheduling could be a little but if you do have an emergency and your a regular patient she will see you immediately.

Terrible. Dr woods was OK. But it took over 6mo to get appointment. Didn't take care of problem all at once. Now I have to go back to get 2 other areas removed and likely have another surgery instead of just 1. Scheduling is horrible if you have a job. After surgery at check out I was given an appointment and not even asked if that be ok. The lady chewed me out for not being able to take the appointment because I work at 930am! Now I have to take out my own stitches. I won't be going back!
