Dr. Sydney Smith has a very busy, successful ortho surgery practice; but you will feel like you're his only patient for that day. He is calm, chillaxed and answers all of your questions in plain terms. I went for a surgical consult due to damaged knee ligame ts and a fractured ankle from a bad accident. The best advice he gave me was to just have patience with my own healing. He tried Synvisc injections first before surgery for my knee and an air cast with anti inflammatory shots for my ankle. They healed without surgery and he was correct about his advice too. He could have jumped into surgery mode, but he was cautious and gentle in his approach. Very grateful.

Best approach to my hip and knee problem. The process took time, but he pursued the problem with me.

On-line “COVID” check in is preferred versus in office check in. Wait is usually 5 minutes. Dr Syd Smith has excellent bedside manners

Dr Smith is an excellent doctor. He’s a caring doctor & talks to his patients about their issues & gives u his undivided attention.

Sydney Smith is a great doctor and a great guy. He has a very easy, relaxed conversational style and he listens very well. He 'scoped my right shoulder about 10 years ago and it has been great, and the last couple of years he has been treating my left shoulder. He is not one of those surgeons who automatically defaults to surgery for everything, he considers the full range of treatment options.

Dr. Smith is a good doctor. He listens and is straightforward.

Dr. Smith is fantastic! Got a PRP shot last May and PRPshots in both knees today..that should give me pain free for 6 to 8 months.

Explains any procedure for you to understand what will happen, how long for recovery , and always says, " if you have any questions, just call". VERY CARING!

Dr. Smith is very personable. He listens and explains things clearly. He seems to care about how well the recovery process is and is quick to offer additional ideas to try to regain range of motion. His office is very efficient and helpful. They arranged everything prior to my procedure.

Super efficient ane friendly office. They really have a first class system set up for processing their patents. Dr. Smith is very easy to talk to.

Went to see Dr Smith for pain in my knee. After taking some x-rays Dr Smith told me the knee looks ok but I had arthritis in the knee. He gave me a cortisone shot and after a week the pain level went from a 8 to a 3. He recommended pt which I'm currently doing and after 3 sessions pain level is down to a 2. Will continue pt for another 3 weeks and hopefully pain will be gone. Dr Smith is very personable and really cares for my well-being.

Friendly, informative, professional, and helpful from check in to recovery. Awesome experience. Now I hope my recovery will be as good ????????????

Dr. Smith is a very caring and excellent physician and a great surgeon. I’ve had two (2) separate surgeries on my left knee and right shoulder. Both surgeries were successful and I feel a thousand times better. Thank you!

Dr Smith has been excellent in his bed side manner, time spent with patient and his knowledge. He isnt one of those Dr that have to be right. Would recommend him any day.

Cynthia, an office gal lacking social skills over the phone was very rude. Very insensitive, impatient and heartless. She could not remember calling me for an appointment when I returned her call. She denied having any notes or records of my referral. She refused to assist me further and was very much disagreeable. She spoke over my words with cockiness not allowing me to answer her many questions. I am shocked Dr. Smith has her working for him. Cynthia brings negativity to staff members and incoming patients.

Was looking forward to being treated by Dr. Sydney Smith, was unable due to negative response from "Cynthia". Had workers' comp approval since March 2020. Their office called, left message confirming they received my referral. Made several attempts returning their call to no avail. Then covid19 occurred with a recording saying their office was temporarily closed. Weeks later "Cynthia" with a sweet voice finally returned my call. After needed information was given, she began to sound frustrated then defensive as she claim there were no notes nor referral for me. "Cynthia" began raising her voice with a tone of sarcasm. She was intimidating as a receptionist, nurse or the right hand man to Dr. Smith.. "Cynthia" was unprofessional and a bad reflection on Dr. Smith and his entire staff. Regretful, 'but my experience needed to be shared.

It is so wonderful to work with a very professional, experienced and compassionate physician who is also a good listener.

He understood that the pain I was having and took into account the problems I was having with my job and letters that they need by May 5,2020 and said he would schedule for me to get treated sooner and took the time to be compassionate about the pain I have all the time and unable to sleep. The conversation was a good one. And felt he listened to all my concerns. Thank You

Dr. Smith did surgery on my left shoulder 9 years ago. The results were so good I chose him to fix my injured right shoulder here recently. I'm extremly happy with the results. Dr. Smith as well as his office staff and surgery team were professional, accommodating, and pleasing to deal with.

Attentive and thoughtful with his patients’ best interests in mind. Future forward thinker for treatment planning to get his patients back to the best of their capability with his help and those in therapy provider network. I went to him after an mva and he helped turn my life and functionality around. Unfortunately, I had a recent injury but I chose Dr. Smith to help me with my current healthcare needs because I fully trust him and know he will get me back to the best of my capability as he commits to his patients and their well being. Highly and strongly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone with an orthopedic issue. He is extremely competent, skilled and knowledgeable and explains everything in an easy to understand manner. I had a broken bone that didn't fuse. Dr. Smith installed a titanium plate in an attempt to fuse the bone. As soon as I woke up after the surgery, I immediately felt significant pain and pins and needles going down my affected limb (none of which was here prior to the surgery). When I asked Dr. Smith about these symptoms he "claimed" they were due a "nerve block" and it would eventually go away. Its now over 10 years later and these symptoms have never gone away and are worse than ever !
