Dr. Tabassum Hanif

Dr. Hanif is always professional and compassionate. She relates well with ppl, listens, takes her time to diligently explain things in terms that you understand, and does not rush you in and out. If your looking for an experienced pulmonologist, I highly recommend u meet Dr. Hanif!!

Dr Hanif is amazing! This is the 2nd time I’ve spoken to her. She’s kind, patient and thorough. She does an excellent job of translating medical tests and terminology into a bottom line message I can understand along the way. Good pulmonologist!!

Excellent physician! She takes care of my husband, so since I'm a nurse, I decided to go with my husband for his appointment. I never met the doctor before- so I wasn't sure what to expect. She is very direct and I like that. She explains everything to you about your condition,medications, treatment plans, CT results, PFTs,etc. She is very thorough. The office staff have been great, always helpful and responsive. The NPs are very helpful too. Excellent physician! I would like to rate Marge - Dr. Hanif's PA. She spent time explaining and answering questions. She was very personable and easy to talk to.

I felt that Dr. Hanif was in a hurry with my first visit. I found that she talked fast and asked questions of me but did not give me enough time to anaswer. I felt rushed. She did have a printout to help explain my sleep study results which helped. I felt that she was knowledgeable in her field, but not very tactful in her questions of my Med list. I happen to be on an anti-depressant . She asked" what are you so depressed about to take Meds?"
