Dr. Tamkeen Lally

I have seen Dr. Lally for about two years now. My experience with her has not been great. After every single appointment Dr. Lally claims she is sending over my prescription to my pharmacy and then come to find out it was never sent (it takes two clicks on her computer to send it) and then I have to call the office who then has to contact her and/or I email myself to get her to respond. Typically she only responds when I write in the header "IMPORTANT." It is extremely dangerous to be a Psychiatrist handling important medication and be negligent to responding and refilling prescriptions. The last time I asked her to send medication, she never got back to me, because she knows I am discontinuing seeing her. Instead she provided my pharmacy with a 3 month supply in awareness that I will need it to hold me over to find a new provider, but never acknowledged why I am leaving or what she could do to keep her patient. She does not care.

Dr. Lally has been treating me for depression, anxiety and ptsd for a while now. I find her very compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend her.

I have communicated the negative effects that the anti anxiety medications that she prescibes for my son has on my son. I have explained that he is on a high dosage of opioids and the combination does not mix. His pain doctor has reached out to her about his concerns of my son being prescribed anti anxiety medicine and opioids. She hasn’t listened to me or my son’s pain doctor.

Does not prescribe anything helpful or take my problems seriously. Kept me on a useless dose of antidepressants for ages and won’t prescribe anxiety meds that actually work. Also pretty rude and indifferent to patients. Absolutely avoid.
