Dr. Tanya G Seawright

I saw Dr. Seawright as my primary care doctor over the last year. I have several chronic issues I have dealt with my entire life, and I was seeking answers. Dr. Seawright pushed meds on me without explaining why she was prescribing them, or what she thought I might be dealing with. When I tried to discuss research I’d done myself with her she was so dismissive. I was not trying to diagnose myself from the internet, just looking to discuss what I’d read, and hear an honest medical opinion. I would also highly suggest you stay away if you’re a heavier individual. She did not comment on my weight to my face, but included extensive weight loss literature in my MyChart appointment summary. So passive aggressive and unprofessional. I feel this should have been discussed face to face if she thought it was an actual medical concern.

Awful awful awful! Tried Dr. Seawright as my primary. I tried several times to get in for follow up, my Mom died, husband had emergency surgery, then my bf of 30 yrs died in New England, then my husband had 2 stints put in for AAA. I was waiting to find out if my husband lived through surgery, they left a voicemail on my phone they were canceling my prescriptions since I hadn’t been in for a follow up! Not like I needed to worry about my BP!! Geez people we do deal with our lives too!!!

Dr.seawright is the best primary doctor I have had she takes out time with you answered any questions I have I love my doctor

She is very thorough and listens to what you say. Always ahas a smile and is very concerned about why you are there. She definitely deserves all 5's. Always works you in if you need to get it quick. And she has the best nurse, Ms. Joanne. So sweet and goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of. All 5's for her also. This is a great office. Great staff.

I have been seeing her for 6 years now. She listens and cares. Has good advice and checked up on me every other day while I had covid. She is usually on time and is thorough.

DR. SEAWRIGHT has been my Primary care doctor for several years. She s kind , caring and compassionate. She has managed my care to my great satisfaction. Her nurse Joanne is also exceptional. The office is easily accessible.. Great parking.

I rarely need a doctor. I called three times in one day for an appointment, leaving a voice Mail each time. No one returned my call until the 4th call on the next day. I was told, without an apology for the lack of following up, that I was no longer considered a patient since I had not been seen in more than 3 years…while we’ve been in a pandemic! When I asked if I could become a patient, again, I was told “I’ll have to send a message to the doctor to see if she will see you again”. If you’re concerned for your health and and believe trust is an actual thing, find yourself another physician. These people are just plain awful.

Dr. Seawright is very knowledgeable and takes the time to understand your issues, explains her diagnosis and lays out the appropriate course of treatment. She has a great bedside manner and genuinely cares about her patients. I wouldn't trust my health to anyone else!

Went to her for bad headaches and she said..what do you want me to do about it? Do not recommend her at all!! I wouldn’t take a dog to her. She doesn’t care about her patients, she cares about the money she is making only. Your better off going to doctors care. They showed me more care then she ever did.

This was my third time seeing Dr. T. Seawright. I appreciate her honesty and her ability to make me correct my unhealthy habits without making me feel bad. She actually made me laugh at myself. Just got my labs back! She's right! Tired? Go to sleep on time! Our doctors can only help us help ourselves. She's great! Perhaps if the nah sayers came with a pleasant attitude she'd reflect that?? Just saying...... Thank you Dr. Seawright! Keep doing what your doing! We do say "dumb" things.....even me, I actually said, "oh, I get up the same time that I did when I was working", duh! She wasn't raised with me!!! Hahahahahahahaha, put your feet in her shoes. I repeat, so far, she's great.....if the Lord allows.... Dr. Seawright is professional and each time I see her, she's concerned and offers me all options to stay on top of this game of Life. She is not pushy since she knows my beliefs. This doesn't stop her from asking me to reconsider certain tests each time I see her. Anyone who states that she only cares about money is looking for a buddy, not an internist. People, she is not there to be our hangout friends. She is real, upfront and honest and if she needs to she will send you to a specialist to double check anything that's not her expertise. She even considers the financial trap I'm stuck in until I'm 65. My insurance is from NY and this office works with me the best that they can. She's a decent, caring Dr. and individual.

The front staff does their best to try and get you seen for walk-ins, Dr Seawright's nurse has great response time with the calls even though we may play phone tag, the lab is great with drawing my tiny vein blood, and Dr Seawright is very attentive to your needs and great with completing extra paperwork for my job, and her staff will makes sure that you get your referrals if needed in a timely fashion. I was looking for a primary physician and this practice was recommended to me by a friend. I really liked Dr. Seawright. She listened, was down to earth and addressed all my questions and concerns. I would recommend her to anyone.

Posting for a family mememe who is elderly and doesn't know how to do this...I am an elderly woman with several chronic conditions including MS. I am not on any narcotics and the only controlled substance I am on has been precribed regularly for me for 10 years with no problem by any of my prior physicians. Dr. Seawright however will not prescribe it. And instead of an explanation as to why she wouldn't prescribe it I was made to feel like a drug addict (imagine over 70 and treated like a common heroin addict). She's comes across very pretenious and cold and if you don't come in with fancy clothes or have a well known name she treats you like common trash. She only seems to care about how much she is getting paid (the more patients the more $$). I didn't realize how bad her reviews were I guess I should have done more research. Caring, responsive and LISTENS!

Great doctor ... very positive .. good listener.. It is always a joy to see her , she makes me feel Hopefull every time . she really cares about what she does , and knows how to simplicity my life Thank you

Dr. Seawright was recommended to me by a friend, however; I have had several issues with her. She listens to you but does nothing about your condition. I want a doctor who listens and responds with actual hands on medicine. It seems like I am bothering her and she doesn't have time for me. All she does is check your blood pressure and listen to your heart. I asked to be referred to an orthopedic doctor for my knees and all she would do was to tell me to go to a clinic. I won't recommend her.

I just moved here. Everyone was really nice. Their office has a very efficient staff and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I have had to contact the doctor through the portal. The response was very quick and all my issues were addressed.

Dr. Seawright is wonderful. I have never had a an issue getting an appointment with her. With my previous Doctor I would end up at minute clinic if I needed to be seen for a sick visit. She is very thorough and efficient. I don't every feel rushed, but get in and out in a timely manner.

Have been a patient for several years, yet every time I am sick and really need to be seen, she can't see me and I end up at Doctor's Care. Why do I have a primary care physician if she can never see me when I'm ill? I'm currently looking for a new physician - hopefully one that will see me on emergent basis as quickly as well visits.
