She's smart & caring. She's texted me just to see how I'm doing. She listens... really listens. She's willing to investigate new treatments. She stands up for her patients. I can't say enough good things about her. Her medical knowledge is solid. I know she goes overboard to fit sick patients in on the same day. I've known her to refuse to allow opioid abuse to continue, assisting those patients to get the help they need. I can't say enough good things about her. She doesn't sugar coat things, but she'll hug you while she delivers bad news. What more could you want?
She is THE BEST. She Cares and it shows I would not let any other Dr. take care of me. She is very informative, compassionate and always helps you in anything you need. I am very lucky to have her as my PA for over 10 years .
Tara changed my medication without telling me and so I picked it up and didn't know what was going on. Also she's very inaccessible, although this is probably a technical issue. I would call her number and would hear "You are third in line. " I'd wait awhile and then the automatic voice would say " Hang up and someone will call you back." No one ever did. The only way to communicate is through the portal and that takes 2 or more days, sometimes never. I changed doctors.
Words can not reflect the love and admiration me and my family have for Tara. Liberty doctors is blessed to have her on their staff. She and her nurse Ginger are the best. I will always refer new patients to her and as long as I need a doctor, I hope and pray Tara Hughes is there to take care of me.
