I was suffering from severe lower back pain to the point where I couldn’t get up. After going somewhere else for treatment and getting no relief, I went to see Dr. Tara. Not only is Dr. Tara amazing but her office staff is wonderful and caring. Her course of treatment helped me so much that in just a short time I actually feel like I can dance again. I came to Dr. Tara O’Brien for back and neck pain. She is a great listener and very compassionate and knowledgeable. She definitely helped my neck and back pain and I had better posture. I had to get shoulder surgery and stopped going for three months and now I’m back and not only is the alignment helping my neck and back it is also helping my shoulder. She knows what she’s doing and makes you feel comfortable and that you can trust her judgment. She just wants you to feel better. Staff is very friendly and kind. I originally came to see Dr. Tara due to excruciating pain in my lower back, and down the center of my spine. The pain appeared out of nowhere so I really did not have a reason as to why I needed help. Through PT, and after receiving an x-ray on my spine, it was discovered that I had 11 degree scoliosis. Without her help, and the practice, I would have never figured out the problem and been able to get the appropriate help I so desperately needed. After the first 2 months, I have begun to feel a whole deal of weight lifted off my main pain pressure points. Tara really knows what she is doing and pin-points the exact areas in which to stretch and fix. I recommend all my friends and family to her, as her experience, my experience working with her, as well as the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff, is something that I look forward to every week.

My old back pain came back with the vengeance after I had Covid and I had to seek chiropractic health. I saw another doctor previously for it but did not feel like going back. Right decision!!! Dr. Tara is WAYYYY better in so many respects. I would give her 10 stars if there was a choice. I felt relief after the first visit and appreciated the structured approach to the treatment program and all the approval write ups she had to do for my insurance visit coverage. A month into the treatment and my shoulder and back pain are mostly gone and I feel great. Dr. Tara's office staff is amazing, polite and always there to help. Appointments are easy, long enough and Dr. Tara is always ready to answer any questions and give explanations on the treatment approach and plans. I highly recommend Dr. Tara for chiropractic care. She listened carefully to my concerns about my intense low back pain caused by my disks and was able to explain the problem in simple terms. From my first visit, I saw much improvement in my mobility, and we were able to develop a treatment plan that fit my schedule and had me going from being unable to stand up to full flexibility in little time. Dr. Tara's use of stretches, manipulation, and other techniques allowed my back to heal naturally without relying on medication or surgery. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

After straining my back playing pickelball, I first tried Accupunture which gave me no relief. I then went to a Orthopedic Doctor who gave me drugs. Not wanting to stay on drugs, I got an appointment with Dr. Tara O'Brien. She was highly recommended by a friend. Immediately working on my problem area, I was able to sit and move comfortably without pain within a few sessions. My next problem area was my neck which was diagnosed with degenerative discs. It caused me to experience headaches for years. Dr. Tara focused on my neck and within a couple of sessions, my headaches were gone... no more drugs to stop the headaches! I came to Dr. Tara because I was having lower back pain, I could not sit to long and getting up after sitting for any amount of time would hurt, moving around was not to comfortable either. After a few visits I started to feel better and I could move around better and now have more flexibility when working in the garden and my mobility had improved also. I have used Dr. Tara for well over 3 years. Initially, I went there with excruciating upper back and neck pain which was debilitating. Dr. Tara used various treatments, which included adjustments, massages and electrical stimulation. Within a few sessions, my pain went away and it was so amazing to be pain free after years of suffering with upper back pain. Just recently, I was suffering from TMJ and the pain was unbearable as I could barely open my mouth. My jaw was inflamed and swollen and I was in tears from the pain. I talked to Dr. Tara and she started treatment right away. After the first session, my jaw felt better and a month after, I do not have any pain. She used various methods, with electrical stimulation, laser and manual massages and adjustments. Been keeping me on the straight and narrow for quite a while now! And she really does care about helping people feel their best. Dr. Tara O’Brien has changed my life for the better. After dealing with long-haul covid for 7 months, I found Dr. Tara. I’ve been going to Dr. Tara since before I was pregnant. Going though out my pregnancy helped so much with work and normal activities. Now postpartum, I still go and it makes a total difference especially now holding/feeding and taking care of a baby. Highly recommend chiropractic work for pregnant women who can! Such a relief!!

In 2019 I started experiencing fairly significant lower back discomfort; not pain exactly, but I was uncomfortable a lot. Any time I bent over, twisted, lifted, sat to long, stood to long, worked to long, my lower back would just start stiffening up. I tried stretching, rolling, hanging from a pull up bar, and inverting; it just slowly got worse. I'd never had chiropractic care before and I was hesitant about having someone adjust my back and neck (specifically the cracking). I expressed this in my consultation and Dr. Tara was very understanding. The first few sessions we just worked on assisted stretching, traction, electric stim, and ultrasound. We began implementing adjustments as I got more comfortable. My lower back stiffness slowly began to subside. I started feeling better. I remember one day noticing when I was getting out of my car after my commute home from work, that I didn't groan pathetically as i was getting out of the car; and i was actually able to stand up straight, rather than lurching out of the car like a caveman. I couldn't believe it. How long had it been since I'd been able to perform the simple task of standing up after a long car ride without vigorously massaging my lower back with my thumbs trying to get my body mostly upright. I went to see Dr. Tara for lower back pain during certain times of the month. After each visit, I left the office feeling brand new and she has helped to reduce my pain tremendously. I came to see Dr. Tara for chiropractic due to migraines that were becoming more frequent and not responding to medication therapy. I wanted to try alternative treatment before trying the newer injectable migraine meds and/or meds that have more significant side effects. I left Dr. Tara’s office feeling great! She was able to pinpoint exactly where my pain has been without even my telling her. That’s when I knew she’s the real deal! She has been working with me to realign my neck/shoulder area as some wrong neck curvature is causing my cervical disks to compress which, in turn causes tension in these muscles and thus, trigger migraines. She’s also been working on my jaws for some tmj related tightness that lo and behold is also a migraine trigger. Through stem, heated ultrasound, manual massage & realignments I’ve found such relief finally! I can’t begin to thank Dr. Tara enough! The difference for me with my migraines after starting treatment has been night and day! In fact, just after my first initial consult visit I felt such immense relief. I had been having a continuous headache for two weeks with some days it getting to migraine level and others a bit less...I was taking Tylenol around the clock to try and control it & took my migraine medication to break the headache too but, no such luck. I first chose to visit this office due to a high level of neck and shoulder pain. After pain lead to chronic headaches, resulting in interrupted sleep, I was desperate for relief. Instantly, I was treated with concern, compassion and quality care. Dr. Tara thoroughly explained her diagnosis of the issue. From that point, I had confidence in the treatment I would be receiving. The pain continued to subside as appropriate treatment followed. Within a very reasonable time and limited visits, I experienced little discomfort. Any level of pain was manageable. I've been a patient of Dr. Tara for several years now. She has helped me tremendously with multiple issues including back pain, neck pain and headaches. I came to Dr. Tara OBrian‘s office due to spinal stenosis. I had pain in my back and legs , muscle cramps and nerve pain. I could barely walk. After my first visit I felt better I couldn’t believe it. I am still seeing her and I also receive physical therapy with a great therapist. I came to Dr Tara in excruciating sciatic pain. I could not even walk. I came to see Dr. Tara in July 2017 after two weeks of broken sleep and constant pain with lower back pain. It was the best decision I ever made. MY back was so out of shape, I felt like a cripple.
