Dr. Tara Fawn Ray

Easy to speak with and she asks questions rather than wait for you to say something which is helpful. Has quite a few religious signs that may be off-putting for non-religious patients. Never mentions anything religion wise but signs can be kind of uncomfortable. Doesn't personally bother me as one who is non-religious but I wouldn't recommend to someone who isn't comfortable with that kind of stuff. I only go every few months to get my prescription refill so I just stay there as convenience.

A very caring doctor!!

I was referred there by my retiring psychiatrist. Boy, was a I shocked to see Bibles and Christian messages everywhere. Totally unprofessional and offensive to non-christians. She has a sign in her office that says "Pray More, Worry Less." For people with severe anxiety issues this is not a valid medical treatment. When I visited her she never looked at me directly, asked me questions robotically while looking at a computer screen and at the end just wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way. TOTALLY difference experience than with my previous psychiatrist who listened, knew my history and looked me in the eye. And no mention of religion was ever discussed. Looking for a new psychiatrist. The God Hating Mrs Laura Gandee who’s review is below mine! I’ve never been here, but I am needing a psychiatrist bad! I have the worse panic attacks and anxiety. The reason I am leaving a review was the fact I seen Laura’s review where she was discussing her experience at this office. Talking about the bible quotes hanging up being offensive! Really? These doctors have every right to put up bible verses in their office. I just can’t stand it when people want to bash others for their religious beliefs. I bet if it was a Budda, Islam or some other religious quotes they had on their office walls you wouldn’t be offended would you? I am referring to the review under mine. I have been seeing Dr. Ray for several year. She is great. Under her care I became well and continue under her care.

Front desk accused my husband of being under the influence when he has a speech impediment and an accent. Disgusting.

Dr Ray is wonderful, she if very caring. Takes the time to listen. Explains every medication and how it should work. She always takes the time to listen to you. I don't feel like just another number. Her staff are always very nice, on the phone or when I am scheduling.

Dr. Ray is punctual. She earnestly listens and responds as a partner. Her office staff are professional and kind.

Dr. Ray and Laura are wonderful. They listen and take the time they need with you. Dr. Ray is very smart when it comes to medications and her staff is very soft spoken, professional, and friendly. I've never felt comfortable anywhere else.

Best doctor ever. Very perceptive and quick to help. Has followed my care for over 10 years. I do not find her quick to make decisions on just “handing out pills”. If you are open and honest about your conditions and medication compliance, efficacy of meds and any side effects she is very knowledgeable on what combinations to use or change as needed.
